What stopped me is that I am often unwilling to stop talking and start fighting, and the guy does semi legally have a point.

I would not be opposed to trying another module.

I think the primarily investigative nature of the module isn't the greatest in PBP. I'd be willing to give something else a shot.

It happens. I do think this module would work better in a live setting.

I do have some potential options if Im running a game.

There is We Be Goblins. You are goblins and all that can entail. Starts at level one with another module being possible after that. I have played this before. There are social elements and of course some combat.

There is Hollows Last Hope. also level one with some other modules that can come after if desired. I have run these before. Wilderness travel, some time crunches, and of course a chance to be local heroes.

a non pathfinder game is Honey Heist. only two important rules are
One: You have a complex plan that requires precise timing.
Two: You are a GODDAMN BEAR.

My vote would go toward Hollows Last Hope.
