Just so that I know what to do next, how badly is Valtyra messed up? I have a scroll of delay poison and some antitoxin, if needed, but I could also channel energy to help out both her and Sithe, if the poison isn't immediately lethal.


I added the summoned bird to the map. Gemariah you can put it wherever. Valtyra is at 2 hp right now. And once you are done with your turn then the octopi left is likely to attack Sithe.

Why is everyone using their limited healing resources when there's a perfectly good wand right here!?

because that wand cost gold. Which is a more finite resource than our daily resources :P

Bah, 750 gp is practically nothing. Also, fervor and lay on hands might come in handy in a fight, whereas the wand is specifically for out-of-combat healing.


Im cool retroactivly using the wand or having it stay as it. There is still plenty more to do ;)

I prefer to save consumables until the party is at about 60% of their personal daily resources. Its just more prudent to save the gold. I'd rather end a day with 10% resources left, and still have the consumables, than with 50% and no consumables.

I'm glad to spend some money so that people have access to their cool abilities when they are really needed, but we can compromise. It's not like we're short on healing, as a party. Just know that I have the wand, and that I'm happy to burn through it whenever.

It's be preferable to spend a little of the consumables and virtually none of actual spells on recovery. A single good spell can swing an encounter your way in an instant. Not so much with a healy stick.

Honestly, I started my post before I realized it was dead, so Fervor let me heal as a free action and I was going to blast Searing Light. By the time I finished the post it was dead, so I adjusted the second half of the post.

Gabrielle you can take a 10 if you want but your skills are weird on your sheet. From the numbers listed alot of the math is off. Best taking a 10 will do is open up the DC 15. Unless I am missing something on your skills.

At this point looks like we are trying to find the dude that dropped off the painting. Barring that find the scene of the next horror/slaughter


Looking for the guy that dropped of the paintings is a good option. And yeah doing that will likely be survival to try to track in the streets or asking around with one of the social skills.

Yay! I recently spent a day making playlists for another long running campaign so I made some for this one as well. I love music for settings and have missed it for games that are not in person. I forgot it for the last map.

Mostly to not cause a panic, and because the whole situation is pretty hard to explain in a hurry ("Magical paintings are coming alive to kill people! D:"). I guess you could Bluff about there being another, more believable danger...? Otherwise, I think you'd just get thrown out.
