He seems to be okay, but he's only 10 years older than me. He works 6 days a week, and goes to school full time for natural medicine or something like that. We're just concerned that with him doing so much, that something worse could happen.
Thankfully it happened at work, where there were other people to help him. If it happens at home, he's all alone...and who knows what could happen.
I've just had a lot going on in my head lately, that's why it's been kinda hard to focus on other things.
I need to get to bed though. I have a great manager, but the little 22 yr old we work with....she's just as sweet as she can be, but that girl needs help for reals, and not just all this medicine they have her on either.

So, my mom has had 2 units of blood, but her red blood cell count still isn't coming up like they'd like it to. So, they're going to do a scope on Friday since they don't know what's causing it. My sister is guessing a GI bleed, but we won't know anything for sure until the test results come back.

I didn't get any sleep at all last night, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to post tonight. If I can't, I'll try to post tomorrow.

There's also a type of fungal infection that I think is specific to Arkansas. It also messes with the hemoglobin and stuff, and can make it look like you have leukemia, when really it's just a fungal infection.
We just won't know anything definite until all the tests come back sometime Friday.

Talked to mom this evening. Her tests came back looking better today. They did a doppler test on her legs to make sure she wasn't getting any blood clots and that came back looking good. Her vitals are staying in a good range, and she didn't sound quite as out of breath as she did last night.
So, they have the scope scheduled for sometime in the morning, we're just not sure when. Hopefully, they will find what's going on and fix it and she'll be able to go home by this weekend. Not sure how long it will take to get the results though.
Like most hospitals, they are absolutely overfilled with patients, and not enough nurses, techs, and dr's to go around, so everything is taking longer to get done.

Reg DR offices aren't much better. I couldn't even get in to see mine with everything I had going on.
I'm really glad and grateful that I dodged the Covid bullet again, but I'm getting tired of playing that game. I know the world will never go back to the way that it was, but I need for people to stop acting like such major morons, and even if you don't care about your own safety, have enough common decency to care about mine.
Oh wait....never mind, I forgot where I live. I guess little Ms. I don't care about Covid, will be singing a different tune now.

My mom's red blood cell count still isn't where it's supposed to be, and they have no idea why. She's supposed to see some Lind of blood specialists soon or something. I don't know....

Sorry guys, Henry's still working on the computer and I for sure need to be tested tomorrow. Been sleeping most of today, have little to no energy, entire body is aching, and I'm not coughing like I was yesterday, but my throat is still sore and stuff is still draining. I just feel really icky and haven't felt up to posting. Probably won't be able to do much until Henry gets the computer working right. He's been having chills tonight though....so, we'll see how he feels tomorrow. We might both have to get tested.

Definitely, get tested. If negative it's a weight off your minds at least. If positive...well the sooner you start treating it the better.

We're going today. Even though I don't feel like it, and my body is just dragging, I have to take a shower, and make us something to eat before we go. We have to go to UAMS in Little Rock, because they do the PCR test there, but since their lab is on site, I'll have the results tomorrow.

Well, I hope our luck holds out, cuz I will be very upset if the armor and weapon that my parents made for me gets stolen....or we die. As inept as they were acting, I didn't really expect them to almost kill us right out the starting gate.
*SMDH and shrugs* Oh well....not like we could just leave them to roam the country side either.

I would have tried to heal one of us, but it would have provoked another attack, and I can't help anyone if I'm dead. I'm just praying that the dice gods be kind to us.

No....no it doesn't. It's gonna take a miracle to come out of this alive now.
We can't give up now though. Kick some bandit butt Lup!

Lay them low Astoria....or at least maim them slightly? Lol

I'm trying to keep us up....but I just don't have that much in the way of healing right now. :(

Acutally, I can stabalize you since you're in worse shape right now and save the healing in case we need it....which we probably will. We really need to be able to finish these guys up quickly, if we're gonna stand any kind of chance of survival.
We need some really lucky rolls....

So, I really do need some tactical advice, because I really don't know what I should do. Here are some of the choices I think I have.
1. Surrender to the douchebags.
2. Withdraw far enough to heal, and then come back. However, that would leave Lup alone with 4 bad guys, and the dice have been in their favor too often.
3. Attack the jerk in front of me, and pray I take them out. Then move to break the flank.
4. Try to move just enough so I don't provoke, and heal myself.
What do you guys think I should do?

I'd go with option 3 and if you don't down one then you both could step into C column, assuming the green is difficult terrain, it'll be harder for them to flank you again.
Fighting Defensively is an option but I don't think it's mathematically advantageous unless you can get into a flank.
I suppose surrender is always an option too but maybe wait and see if either of you fall or not?
