"Okay, we're leaving, right?" Dawn prepares to guard the rear.
Dawn will wait for everyone else to move and then protect whomever is closest to the dragon.

Golthwur nods, reluctantly exiting his hiding place to catch up with the others.

“I am going to use my warp-stardrive-planescape-special-mortal-combat-hadoken-melee-ATTACK!!!“ Eltran shouts and he hopes to make himself the main target of the dragon.

I didn't really this about this action in rounds, but it still holds. Move action is to get to Angela, Standard is to heal her with the wand. The healing should also heal her non-lethal damage and this wake her up (albeit at 1hp). 5 damage is also transferred from Dawn to Hayden.

Feeling better she stands up and looks at the dazed looking dragon and then the rest of the group. "Right what's the plan? Into the gold? Run past? Try and somehow kill this?"

Whoop, dang. Well then drag the fainting Angela away!

I think the plan was to run away. Sir Hayden is the slowest due to his curse, right?

Hayden watches the undead dragon fall and lay still. He breathes a sigh of relief and goes down to one knee for a moment to catch his breath. Then he realizes Angela is still unconscious and asks Sarenrae to take on her life force.
"That was quite dire. Let's tend to our wounds before we think about continuing."
Sequentially, Hayden will take on everyone's wounds via Life Link and healing himself over and over.

![]() |

Eltran almost starts sobbing when he sees the broken form of the gold skeleton.
"I ... I cannot believe that we are alive!" he says with a weak voice.
"I ... I though we would die!"

![]() |

Reroll well spent.
"I've fallen, and I can't get up!" Dawn mocks the mighty dragon before sheathing her warhammer. "Well, we're still alive. Good job everyone!"
She scans Sir Hayden as his wounds reopen and close. "Um... as always, thank you."

"Yes, well, with a wizard at hand, is any outcome every truly in doubt?" says Golthwur, appearing much more confident now that the threat has passed.
Golthwur would never say "Well done!", but I will!

Once healed up, Angela would be willing to rest, but I'm also okay with pushing on if needed.

”Power of the planes! I need you now but can only have you if I have rested! So I definitely need some sleep!“ Eltran exhales while looking at the remaining bones.

![]() |

IIRC, we have 72 hours total before we ride the gold wave. We've spent at least 8 hours resting, so we probably have enough time for more rest.
"Well, we beat the thing at the door. Everything else should be way easier from here on." Dawn smiles. "Maybe it's time for a celebratory break." She squats.
"Okay. So a dragon walks into a bar, fills the mug with gold and says it's the most expensive drink she's ever had!"

Angela, patched up, immediately points to a crack in the wall as she regains consciousness. "There, there was something bver there that I spotted when I was falling unconscious. Seemed important."
She slips into the small space and nods. "Yep, seems the dragon was starting to build themself a horde." She pulls out her spear and clutches the Wayfinder hanging from it. "Oh more than a few magical items in here. There's a Brooch of Shielding, a Horn of Fog, a bow with 3 potions of Cure Moderate Wounds and an admantine axe... All gold plated of course."
Apparently by virtue of being Angela, she can know these things. That did make me laugh.

![]() |

Hayden hears about a bow and comes over to look. "Ah, Angela, I believe that is a box. But yes, a good cache of healing potions. I'm nearly exhausted. I say we pause here for a while before we continue. I only hope there aren't more dragons ahead of us."
Lol, I got all excited about a bow!

![]() |

"That's a shiny axe. We could throw it into a gold-plated lake and see if any fairies retrieve it for us. Oh, but then they couldn't test our truthiness with the gold axe test. Hmm...."
Dawn already has an adamantine falchion. Does anyone want the axe?

![]() |

Upon spying the horn, Golthwur's eyes light up.
"That could free up one of my daily spells!" he cries as he goes to snatch the item form Angela's grip. "I should really have that. After all, you mundanes probably have no idea how it is to be used."

![]() |

"Oh! Well, you toot on it. But if you toot on it the right way, it shoots a fog cloud. Or an obscuring mist." Dawn frowns. "Did I fail the test, Golthwur?"

![]() |

"Yes, that is essentially correct," Golthwur concedes. "But, then, you do have some modicum of magical means, I suppose."
"I, on the other hand, am a Maestro of Magic and Instrumentalist of Incantations!" he concludes, looking quite literally to toot his own horn.

”You sure Golthwur? I seem to recall taking a class on essentially tricking magic items into working, even if you don’t know the proper magic. What was it called? Using Magic Devices?” Nisha smiles at the wizard.

”You sure Golthwur? I seem to recall taking a class on essentially tricking magic items into working, even if you don’t know the proper magic. What was it called? Using Magic Devices?” Nisha smiles at the wizard.
"And an assembly composed of screeching bats in infinite number would, eventually, create a sound similar to that of Chelish opera--Yes, yes. I am aware of the phenomena." Golthwur retorts indignantly. "Of course, there have been instances of mundanes utilizing magical devices, but such rare occurrences are improper and due largely as the result of happenstance than any manifest ability. Indeed, it is an act more akin to the tossing of dice than the true manipulation of magic!"

![]() |

Angela gives Golthwur a look, the look that she's very quickly named the 'Golthwur' look. "Don't think you're saying I can't use magic items or identify them."
She raises the Hirn and gives a quick blast blowing the fog out for 10 feet. Inside the fog banks he explains, "Horns of Fog all have an odd peculiarity in the last second of the note is also an octave and a third lower than the last note intentionally played. Additionally it can produce fog as long as the blowing creature has air, and spreads until it hits a solid surface. Finally this lasts longer than most low level Obscuring Mist spells at 3 minutes, but winds can easily disapate it. Now the fact that this one produces a golden shimmering cloud of mist is unusual..."
Inside the mists, she steps up to Golthwur. " My Golthwur, is that a scratch on yout arm, here let me help you... But if onyl my mundane self could activate a wand... "

" Oh would you look at that, either a miracle happened or I know how to use a fricking wand! "
Golthwur looks almost appreciative as he inspects the places where his wounds once were, before his more "scholarly" mind again overtakes him.
"Yes, a miracle, indeed. Which is precisely my point!" he continues, as if desperate to utter any words other than "thank you". "Why--why--such conveyance of positive energy and similar, minor parlor tricks of the 'divine' require no actual skill. Instead, 'divine' spells and items are merely the byproduct of the flittering whims and fancies of deific beings that, should they take a moment even to acknowledge the existence of a mundane being like yourself, may find themselves struck with some pang of pity or ache of altruism. Such is a far cry from the skill and ability required for the employ of true magic."
Even I'm starting to dislike this guy!

So we sleeping and healing up? I thought I saw someone said they took care of healing? Because I am at less than half health.
Nisha looks like she might stare at Golthwur again and make him relive her life for a second time, but decided against it and instead gingerly gets out her camping gear, wincing as her hands are still sore from hanging on to the ledge for so long.
