What are people's thoughts on pre-game relationships?
Lizbit could know Runt from her charity work and could have met Argenon at the theater, for example.

I have worked in the city for some time, operating as a mercenary, but sometimes being asked to help the cities guard for protection details and such. Not sure how that plays into the rest of your backstories though.
As for handsome, I lean in close to its face, and mutter, “test unsat” then smile and pull out a small package containing salted meat as a peace offering.
Runt could certainly know anyone. He lives his life on the street, and everyone needs the streets to get places.
Runt is a pleasant and charming fellow. He doesn't need to much help to live a simple existence, but he is not at all a hermit or loner.
Lizbit might have encountered Tony at the Opera, which he often attends with University friends.

A tall, handsome human of noble birth steps out of the shadows. "It would appear my invitation was, as you say, 'lost in the mail'." Argennon's frown deepens. "There I was sitting, waiting in the recruitment tab, like some.. silly stablehand!"
It is entirely possible that Lizbit and Tony are known to Argennon, but not social, due to their shared love of the opera. The nobleman has likely heard of the inquisitor and swashbuckler in gossip.
Are there any recent events in the city related to the story we may need to consider, EltonJ?
It looks like we're a little light on healing. Will have to be careful until we can get a wand of CLW.

I'm excited to get this thing off the ground! I do have a few questions. How meta should I play this?
Druid Spells Prepared (CL 1st; concentration +5)
1st—cheetah's sprint, obscuring mist
0 (at will)—detect magic, enhanced diplomacy, purify food and drink (DC 14)
At the moment, I have those spells memorized. Purify food and drink means he and Tiny can eat scraps and trash. Enhanced Diplomacy is a bonus to Diplomacy. If it is dangerously cold on the street, I might be better off with memorizing Endure Elements. From a RP perspective, I'm happy to use the resources on that. Detect magic is just him sensing the magical currents of the city.
I guess I'm not sure how much we should be kitted out for adventuring, and how safe it is to make more character driven choices.
Also, I have spent no money. I have a free quarterstaff and a free cutpurse outfit. I suppose the rug and tin cup might cost a few coppers. Maybe the starting gold could be something he finds, or a nest egg he has accumulated? Not sure what is the best idea there.
Also, I need to get my alias cleaned up. What information would you like displayed?

I know that from a player perspective it isn't helpful, but it probably makes sense here for Runt to hang back a bit. I'm hoping to follow Lizbit into trouble, but you guys are more primed to be adventurers, I think.
At the same time, if anyone else wants to lure Runt into trouble, I'm game.
I opened the door to the 5e version of this campaign. If any of you wish to confer with the 5e players making characters with their backgrounds, this is a good time to do it.
I'm not sure what is happening. It seems like we have spent 9 days on initiative.
GM, most GMs on the boards roll initiative for the whole group. That makes things move faster. Also things like Perception checks or other passive things you want us to do.

I had to stop work for about a month and half for some very stupid reasons, got kinda depressed from all the not working, and my PbP attentiveness suffered for it.
