I have a first level Technomancer with two adventures under his belt. I will get his details up in your thread latter today. :)

It would be nice to play in a game that is actively supported especially if I am able to play live again. Imagine that. People actually breathing on you again. For a prolonged period in an enclosed space. A scary but intoxicating prospect. :)

Does anyone have any idea when meeting in local gaming stores for a weekly game will not be a frightening prospect in most populated spaces in North America?

@Ehm - I am missing the point of the one level dip in Gunslinger for your character. I mean Alchemists are really good at doing ranged damage and become insane at level 8. Is it purely aesthetics or part of a master plan? I am just curious as I have never seen this combination before. Generally Rogue + Gunslinger is the combination that I see.

Basically the old M-79 grenade launcher.

Conductive pistol lets you add a bomb to the shot. Explosive missile also lets you add a bomb to the shot. Oddly, they don't interfere. With an extract I can make a single attack that does 9d6+20 fire damage.

Plus I was thinking of Rocket Raccoon when I made the character. A friend was going to make a character for Groot. We were going to try to pair them up for session. But he changed his mind.

Ok that is pretty cool. :)

Alchemists are pretty great at doing reliable damage at range especially at higher levels and extracts are fun although generally inferior to spells with a few notable exceptions. They also have cool class abilities that you just want to have even if they are less than optimal. Would I like a third arm? Sure! How about butterfly wings that sprout out of my back? Yes, please.

Bombs if area of effect is needed.
Major enemies get the full monty. Targeted Admixture, bullet, and 2 bombs.

explosive-conductive-crit discussion

Did some asking, apparently I did that a little wrong.
The Conductive Weapon property should not have given a crit.
Most agree though that the Explosive Missile discovery does get a x2 crit (still be just the first dice and the static damage like a normal bomb).

So it should have been 11 less on the sonic damage.


Thanks for checking--I think the result would have been the same--he only had 51 hit points.

@grimdog73: I reported credit for your PFS character # from the recruitment thread before I noticed you later asked for it to be switched in this thread. The Chronicle will be correct, but I'm not sure how to change the reporting (if it's something I can fix or if someone higher up the change has to do it). Sorry!
