I should have gone with the lightning ... I decided to try for a big chunk of persistent on the dandasuka so we could focus on the worms. A+ plan, obviously.

Thulgrun get a hero point for starting that combat. It was going to happen sooner or later. Also, feel free to heal up. Im just going to continue with the scenario.

And with a mighty blow Glade manages to take out the imposter. "We're going to have to find Rindle at some point and revive him. He was such a valuable member of the society. Probably got attacked before he got here," Eliza sighs at the remains of the battle.

You continue on and you discover a part of the maze has been sundered apart creating a massive rift. Giant destroyed topiaries dot the area. You end up in the middle of a giant rock and Eliza says,"Sorry my friends. It looks like we've found the source of our chaotic friends. This area has been overtaken by the forces of chaos made manifest. It looks like our route forward is the same as our route back. We'll need to use those seedlings growing about to reconnect the broken shards of stone and change the destination of this portal we're standing on," she says while her brow furrows in concentration.

This area is composed of multiple seedlings located around its edges. In order to reactivate the rune and start the reconstruction of this area you must nurture the plants so they can continue to stabilize the area. You can heal the plants with an appropriate healing spell or item or a medicine check to treat wounds.

Quinn automatically succeeds with assurance if Im reading the sheet correctly.

Thulgrun manages to get one more hit in on the voidworm which is starting to look a bit wonky. In retaliation it tries to strike back and do damage though it looks more like its flailing wildly.

How dare you impugn Quinoline's skills! Quinoline lovingly hand-crafts every bottle she uses, optimizing its rotational inertia such that the bottles always fracture longitudinally, confining the splash area to a 2.5' radius circle centered around her target.

Glade wolf manages to step in and take out the final voidworm. After the chaos dies down Eliza says,"You're doing a great job. We'll have this portal stabilized soon."

As you continue ,an idyllic meadow materializes, its borders marked by the easily identified bushes and topiaries of the Maze of the Open Road. The area seems free of planar intrusions or magical distortions, without a single living thing in sight. Eventually you come across a body of a halfling and Eliza adds,"Sigh.... This must be the body of the real Rindle and I think this squirrel was his pet. I'll collect their bodies and make sure the society helps resurrect them."

A particularly thick section of the maze’s hedges has grown over massive white structures. What may have been the spires of an ancient temple are now so choked with wild plants they are inaccessible. Even stranger, mounding dunes of red sand are gathered in the open paths between the living walls of the maze. As you approach you see a four armed figure standing there who looks quite belligerent. "You all. Are you responsible for this mess trapping us here? That treacherous little halfling told us that we'd be able to go home but it appears to be a massive trap," the figure says with a hostile tone in their voice.

Fangor recognizes this four armed figure as a wytchwyrd. An extraplanar creature from beyond Golarion. Typically, they are known to serve as merchants and most ones you may come across know nothing about their homeland.

Combat is over you can spend time to heal up.
