I've been following it. I've met Eric Mona a couple of times and like him, but am otherwise supportive of the airing out of dirty laundry. I'm 53, so a lot of the behavior being talked about was very commonplace until very recently in many companies. Gaming has been resistant to change for a while, and it'll be interesting how this shakes out.

The cure is Magic Missile and the Potent Magic exploit.
Pit spells are nice too. Let them roll Reflex instead of you rolling to hit.

I learned long ago from a friend who almost always plays some kind of arcane caster, or multiclassed with arcane caster(s), focusing on spells without saves or SR is a solid path.

Magic Missle - and then pile a lot of Metamagic on top of it, like Potent, Toppling, Dazing, etc.
I had an Arcanist build that specialized in Fireball. He could change it to any energy type and had Metamagic boost it up a few dice, and extra damage, with no additional casting time or spell slot level.
