Am I the only one thinking of Sindiri running up singing, "I came in like a Fireball."
Totally though I believe we lost him.
Fire anyone?

Cleo is at the reinforced brewery... Jorne returns to see if she is better?
Lykàn Delĩss |
I think we lost quite a few people since we started............

Rest and recharge then get back to us.
GM Wolf |
First I want to start this off with a positive note: I appreciate all of the players that have stuck through my hard times. I know my absences can be trying at times.
To sum it up in as few words as possible I am sorry for the lack of communication. I have been dealing with depression, the new school year, and making sure none of it affects my priority #1: my son.
Yeah work has been crazy as a lot more work has been put into teaching these last two weeks.
What I would like from the players that are still around is what you would like to see in the near future in our game. Next if you wish to get to the end of a chapter and end it on a high note or continue with the campaign.
I have date night with my wife tonight. So I plan to make some major posts and then continue updating later in the evening.
Quince Medvyed |
I am long haul man. Greenwatch Forever.
Unless of course you need the space to cut and prioritize then. Please do what is wise.
GM Wolf |
Greenwatch Forever!!! No I won't drop this campaign unless I am dead! Longhauuuuuullllll! ;) We just may need to recruit again... then again maybe not!

GM Wolf wrote:The group collects and talks about where the citizens may have gone. Maybe with looking at a map of the region you could be more successful. To the North would be Varnhold pass. North, West, and South are mountains where they may have ventured.
Well yeah we can look at the map and start exploring the question was more looking at those landmarks on the map and workshopping our knowledge are we aware of places that would sensible to flee to? Like are there well known caves near by. Like oh hey last winter when the werewolves attacked folks held up in caves . . .
As far as I can tell have one lead. Centaurs. The Spriggans seem to have arrived after the fact. I know this is an exploration heavy AP but wondered if there was any strings that our knowledge or for those from the region might have to start investigating everywhere in all directions.
In L10
[dice=perception]1d20+14Quince moves back some broken pottery and furniture revealing a hidden door. "Well hello Mr. Potter." He holds up an elegant set of flagons and platters, hand crafted and chased in platinum. "A fine set."
Is there a card is that how we know the intended?
Later as the talk options
"Agreed we can run a circle and see if anything turns up. Though we do know that the Centaurs have had some run in with at least one trader in town here."
Is it known where the Centaurs in the region are found/avoided roughly?
1st I need to know if any of you are from this region. From my recollection the answer was no. Some of you had family here or something of the like. I need to look up at your checks again and see what you got. Sorry I will work on this tonight.
Yes, the Nomen Centaurs would be a high chance of where some desperate folk may travel too.
St. John Smythe |
Hope you feel better soon!
I'll be hanging around and would like to continue on. I am not a local so can't help much there.
It may be best to go with a party of 4 to 6. If you get a few people that post more often things will move along more. Bigger groups are hard waiting for everyone to post.
Lykàn Delĩss |
This char could be considered local or not....
Dinenen |
Still here. Still valid for long-term.
Not a local.
Quince Medvyed |
Yes before the fight we went to the tavern. I think I remember a dead person there.
I do think we need to go the centaurs. I am just not sure if any of us know in character where they are known to start looking for them. If I was sure we already knew it would have been my proposed plan in my last post in game.
GM Wolf |
It was not a dead person, but a large dead spriggan which seemed to be stuck in a curse or some kind of magic.
There is no obvious signs of life. Yes signs that they did live here and basically just walked away from it all. No human bodies, or signs of the citizens of the town. You could go check the outlying farms. You guys just need to decide to do something.

Okay, so I'm finally going to work myself back into the game. It has been a very long few months. Between my grandfather's care, then his passing, my husband and I buying our first house, me getting a new job but still having to work at my old one on the weekend till the house was done, and then as if that wasn't enough my dad got rushed to the hospital. Yes he is okay now, gallbladder was swollen and enflamed and they removed it by my dad's body apparently took offense to that and he ended up back in the hospital. But he's home now and doing good! I was hoping to get a post in today after all the errand I put off during the week while my mom stayed with dad at the hospital and I watched the house. I knew there would be a lot but uha... I misjudged how much! XD
Lykàn Delĩss |
welcome back!
Things have being rough I see.
Hope things get better.

Awesome. We just killed a bunch of Spriggans. The town is empty save for rotting food, lots of rats. We had held up in the Brewery but now the town is under our control.
We know a sacred site where centaurs are known to visit. The fact that we found a skinned centaur was unsettling. But finding the centaurs and seeing if they know what might have happened to the people of Varnhold is our only lead.
Jorne Fyrestone Stavian |
Cleo stayed in the brewery as the others explored. You should be well rested and ready to head out in the morning. Jorne returned to you after several hours of searching the town.
Cleonora Petalouda |
Finally caught up!
Take care of yourself man! We'll be here!
Lykàn Delĩss |
Congrats on hearing that!
No pain, no Meds and no stones is good!!
Lykàn Delĩss |
Clearing that swarm so that we can investigate the place. If it means we're going to have to slowly take them out then that's what we're going to do.
Quince Medvyed |
Kill birds.
Look around.
If there are no centaurs about. Leave a message for them.
Talk about next steps.
Cleonora Petalouda |
Works for me, nothing more we can do I guess. Unless we just leave the birds be.

I think you skipped the bit about "hoping we find a clue"
Quince Medvyed |
Yes look for clues.

Which Hex on our Map is the "Land Shark's Grotto."
Did they give us any news or other things that would be worth noting on the map. Just trying to note if there are things they would have mentioned to avoid or check back on later for investigation.
The chieftain and elders help with the map pointing out a few places. To the North among the hills of the mountain is the Spriggan's lands. To the West is the Ghost Stone. To the South West is the Valley of the Dead, no one goes there and the undead are likely coming from that dreaded land. The Blood Furrows, also known as the land sharks grotto, is two days East and one day North.
Please let me know the Hex numbers for these so I can add notes to the map for future reference.
GM Wolf |
Sorry I never got that answer to you before. It is really hard to read the Hex numbers on your map. I will add numbers and the locations that you know of from the catfolk.
47: To the West is the Ghost Stone.
40 and 33: To the North among the hills of the mountain is the Spriggan's lands.
55: To the South West is the Valley of the Dead, no one goes there and the undead are likely coming from that dreaded land.
28: The Blood Furrows, also known as the land sharks grotto, is two days East and one day North.

Yeah my picture had a big quality lose from Publisher to picture. I will make them bigger. I need to re-up my Microsoft Office subscription.

. . . waits for the noble to address them, as he seems to like to do.
The noble's player wouldn't mind if other's hop in. Quince has often been a face character even before picked for the "throne." If I am shutting others down it wasn't my intension.
Dinenen |

Nah. You're not going to shut this player down without specific targeting.
You're a solid face. Deferring to expertise is not the same as getting shut down.
Quince Medvyed |
looking at Lykan's profile. Would he be known to folks of this region.
Lykàn Delĩss |
Lol as a vigilante or a terrorist?
Quince Medvyed |
As a hunter of the region with the title Lord of the Plains. LOL.
Cleonora Petalouda |
S!#@ happens, I'll be here!

Low stress. One of the many points on the calendar where things are expected to get flaky . . ..
GM Wolf |
A quick note to all of my games: Sorry for the absence, lots of work, very little time free time for me. Sleep comes upon me soon as I have been needing more sleep. I keep logging in with intentions of doing posts but things keep distracting me. Thanks for understanding when in doubt I should be on Friday after work.
Cleonora Petalouda |
Mate it's the holidays, we all waaay too busy.
