"There were other rooms, but there were also a lot of guards around the one. We thought about breaking in but decided more people would be useful. If the Empire is here now though, then we should make our move." Waylon says.

Sebbik |

Sebbik turns his gaze to Donavaan. "I was of a mind we would gather the others first. Seven of us against eight would certainly prevail, especially if they aren't expecting an attack."
At least I think there's seven of us...
Ardan
Waylon
Kol
Dreamchaser
Donavaan
Sebbik
Rufus

Those in the throne room see that the Inquisitor begins to look around, almost as if he is looking for something or someone. He then smiles and looks like he is concentrating.

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

Turning his head, Dreams looks at Donavaan with confusion.
Yes, we need you to keep coming with us. But we are trying to figure out what to do with those guards.
I remember my master being able to tell them to let us past.
He pauses for a moment.
I wonder if that would work here.
He looks around with puzzlement
Now to see if I remember how to do that.
He drifts off slightly into concentration.

Taking a quick look at the doorway to the room that was of such interest, Kol tried to think of the architectural structure of it, trying to think of perhaps a back way in, a skylight, an air vent, a thin wall they could plasma cut through. Something like that.
KNOWLEDGE (Technology): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
MECHANICS: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22

What kind of tools do you have?

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

Dreams snaps himself out of his woolgathering.
He reaches out and taps the young lad on the shoulder to try and regain his attention.
Donavaan, stop
You don't want to go back that way, we need to figure out a way to get out of here without going past the imps at the front.

”If Donovan is being affected, we must move quickly. If there is a side room we can cut through the wall. If not II will try and get the door guards to let us pass or maybe go and aid the Hutt.” Waylon says.

Sebbik |

Sebbik shakes his head. "We should stay together. If we are going to try and take whatever is being guarded, we'll need to escape quickly. If we are separated, one or more of us might be cut off."
Thinking that splitting the party at this point would be a bad idea. If Donavaan stays with us, let's see if we can get into a side room without catching the attention of those guards to cut through the wall. Maybe with combination of stealth and/or Jedi powers? If that's not possible, we could just bull rush their position by attacking with surprise? GM, do we know the path out of here from where the guarded door is located? Preferably without passing through or even near the throne room?

Quen Pah |

In the throne room the inquisitor's smile diappears into a frown of annoyance. As he approaches the Hutt, still engaged in discussion with the imperial officer, he ignites his lightsaber, piercing the Hutt's chest as the red blade erupts from the other side.
The Officer and everyone else looks in shock as Darga meets his end. The Inquisitor looks at the Storm Troopers Leave no survivors, I know what we came for and where they are.

Ardan Kwinn |

Ardan scowls as the Inquisitor predictably decides to liquidate the entire operation after ignoring his offer.
Since he's not carrying anything gauche like explosives, Ardan simply beats feet to retreat and hopes that he can meet up with the rest of the team before he's shot.

Quen Pah |

looking at the make up of the walls, you could be able to cut through them with the tools that you have, but until you get into the room [if I understand the plan] that you want to get through to get to the guarded room, you are not exactly sure how long it will take, but it is possible,

Rufus Griller |

Spending a Force point at the start of the scene for Fool's Luck, to get +1 to all Defenses.
"I think this inept fool is going to take my leave of you all." Rufus then points to just beyond Darga's corpse. "Look out! It's Jabba!"
Deception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Then he takes off running.

Quen Pah |

The Inquisitor laughs at Rufus' paltry attempts at a distraction as Hutt flunkees, slavers and Imperials begin to shoot at each other, while the Inquistor begins to follow behind Rufus, taking out a slaver with his lightsaber as he passes her.

Ardan Kwinn |

Well based on the posts above, Ardan and Rufus are running for it when the blasting starts, while the rest of the group is trying to figure out a way to cut through the wall to make an exit from the building so we can get away with Donavaan.

Sebbik |

Sebbik is of a mind to find a way into the guarded room, whether by cutting through the walls or cutting through the guards with an ambush - once they have the others in their party back with them.
However, once he finds that the Inquisitor is hot on their trail, he reconsiders the plan. "If the Inquisitor is going to take on the Hutt's guards, maybe we can cut through the walls during the battle while they're all distracted. Of course, that means we'll have to find a place to hide. Either that or confront the Inquisitor directly."
I'd hate to leave empty-handed, but that Inquisitor is coming our way, right? That doesn't leave much time for a decision. Can we duck into a room and lock it (hacking the panel if necessary), letting the Inquisitor get past us? Sounds like they are headed to that guarded room. We could follow and see about cutting into the room while the Inquisitor is cutting down the Hutt's guards?

Ardan Kwinn |

Well it's not like I have a ninja smoke bomb to distract the troopers while we run for it!
Seriously, I don't know if anyone has any more "refined" ideas than "get the hell out of this warzone."

Kol DyThrand |

Kol is casually strolling along looking like a common maintenence man, looking up and down the hallways beyond the sealed door. He is planning to get into a nearby room and cut through the wall with his plasma torch when the sound of shooting breaks out.
"Frack!" He swore aloud as he turned and hurried back to his crew.
"What do we do now? There's like a hundred stormtroopers back in the hall!"
Listening to the others, he is all for Sebbik's idea to cut through a wall to the sealed room.

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

So I think the hacking through the wall seems to be the plan. Now the hard part, to implement it, or something different. Here we go!!!! LEROY JENKINS....
Dreams starts running towards the guards.
They are asking for help in Darga's throne room. He sent me to go get you so you can reinforce them.
Pointing back at the sounds of blaster fire.
deception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (16) + 0 = 16
Not sure of any modifiers that you will be incorporating, but I figure the sounds of blaster fire, will punctuate the fact that they need help in there.

Sebbik |

Damn! Nice idea, Dreams!!

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

Dreams looks at the guard while waving his arms around.
Imperials are attacking, can you not hear the blasters. Darga sent me down here to get you guys to go help in the throne room.
Figured to do something, as debates can last a while, and this seemed like something logical.

Sebbik |

Sebbik grins as he regards Dreamchaser and whispers. "That was a great idea! Here, let me see about the door." The duros moves to the scanner to see if it can be hacked open.
Guessing it's locked, so will make a Use Computer check to try and hack it open. The Master Slicer ability always lets me roll twice, keeping the better result.
Use Computer Check: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
Use Computer Check: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31
Let's hope I don't need another good roll coming up, because I think I just used up my luck!

Sebbik |

Sebbik nods when access is gained and turns to the others. "We're in. A couple of our number should stay and watch for trouble while the rest of us try and find what the Hutt was hiding from the Inquisitor. Or for them, I suppose - it wouldn't be a surprise for the Empire to turn on their ally to tie off a loose end."
Then he slides open the doors and takes a look around to see what was being guarded so heavily...
Thinking a couple of us stay back here, maybe a force-user and someone skilled with a blaster to hold off anyone that interrupts us? I'd be willing, though Sebbik's slicing skills might be needed in the room. A little more information about what's beyond the doors is probably needed before we come up with a solid plan, though. At the very least, time is NOT on our side and we need to hurry.
