Sebbik |

Sebbik points at the comms. "Maybe someone can keep the destroyer busy for just a few more minutes while I recalibrate?"
Think I'd rather have someone try to Bluff rather than risk a blind jump at the moment. Quen Pah, how much time before Sebbik can have another go at the Astrogation roll?

Ardan Kwinn |

Ardan says, "I don't think we're going to convince them that we have a very important cake delivery and they should let us go! They're obviously following on the heels of that Inquisitor and the fact that we just blasted off makes us look a little suspicious."
So I guess the ISD showed up before we went to hyperspace, even though it was previously stated that it showed up when we had already begun entering hyperspace.
Ardan thumbs the comm switch and leans over the pickup.
"We're a little busy at the moment, can you hold please? Your call is very important to us and it will be answered in the order in which it was received."

Waylon Stanmore |

"It might have been more prudent to ask them what they want." Waylon says as he continues to meditate on their plight.

Sebbik |

How about a Deception check or something?

Waylon Stanmore |

Waylon rises and moves to flick on the intercom and says, "Hello, we are experiencing computer issues. What can we do for you on this fine morning?"

Sebbik |

Sebbik gives Waylon a thumbs up as he continues to fiddle with the astrogation computer...
Totally agree with that ruling! Not just one '1' on the d20, but two '1's? Talk about bad luck!! Maybe someone can give an Assist on his next Use Computers check? I'm figuring Sebbik will make the primary roll (if we live that long) since his modifier is +12.

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

I could assist on the piloting, but not the computer. Mine has a modifier of 0 for computer, and 8 for piloting.
Dreams continues to sit on the bench, hoping that the empire misses them.
I wonder what the imps want with Jedi, or force sensitives? why would they be pushing us so hard for them. What are they up to.

Quen Pah |

The imeperial ship hails one last time Unidentified ship, power down and prepare to be boarded or prepare to be blasted into nothingness the voice on the other side of the comm speaks.
Your sensors indicate that the Star Destroyer is powering up weapons.

Waylon Stanmore |

How long would it take for a boarding action? And is this ship large enough that they would suck us in or are they likely to send a ship over?

Kol DyThrand |

"Spleeb this felgercarb..."
Cussing up a storm, Kol ran to the back of the lounge area and slid down the Jeffries tube and into Engineering.
He put his goggles on and took up a big hydrospanner, then opened FTL access. Moving into the rainbow glowing space to the high pitched whining mechanism, he reached out and...
Unless stopped, hes going to manually trip the Hyperdrive. Blind.
Let's hope we aren't aimed at the local star...
Mechanics: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25

Sebbik |

Sebbik decides that getting out of the immediate area would be a very good idea - at least until the computer is ready for another Astrogation attempt.
The duros accelerates the ship away from the star destroyer as fast as possible...
Pilot check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Waylon Stanmore |

Waylon returns to his seat and begins to meditate.
I need to try and regain my focus so I can use my mind power again. Either we will be blown to bits, escape or I will have it before we see anyone in person.

Waylon Stanmore |

I used my Mind Trick in the escape. I need to meditate to get it back. I do not think I can do it over the Comm, but maybe I could. In which case I could do it before they actually dock with us. Our best hope is to convince whoever comes on board we are not who they are looking for and they should let us go. Chances of that working once they board us...slim.

Ardan Kwinn |

Yeah, Mind Trick has a range of 12 squares and the target must be in LOS, so probably not over comms unless it's, like, someone up in an observation room that you can see through the glass while you're talking to them over the comm. Not ship-to-ship. Otherwise I'd do it myself!

Sebbik |

Sebbik shakes his head as the warp drive suddenly engages and then, just as quickly, the ship drops out of hyperspace. "Was that Kol? I think we owe that human a drink. Let's see if he bought us enough time to get out of here before that star destroyer follows us..."
Do we know where we are? Can we try to Astrogate back to Alderaan?

Ardan Kwinn |

"Blind jump? Lucky to be alive," says Ardan.
"Check the astrogation computer. The jump wasn't that long so we can't have gone too far."

Waylon Stanmore |

"It is good that we moved so quickly. They would not have liked us to have taken the more normal process." Waylon says as he hangs back to let those with tech skills to have the room they needed to figure out what exactly happened and where they were.

Quen Pah |

Go ahead and give me a 2 use computer rolls,
one to see where you are and the other to see what, if any damage has taken place with the computer systems.

Kol DyThrand |

From the copilots station, Kol rapidly punched in commands to his console.
In the Nav tank he called up the local stellar map and system scan sweep.
In the damage control screen he called up a map of the ship with color coded damage assessments blinking.
Use Computer: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Use Computer: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Looking out the main viewer he paused.
"... Is that a desert planet?"

Sebbik |

Sebbik does what he can to figure out where they wound up and if the nav system is still operable.
Use Computer check: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
Use Computer check: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22

Quen Pah |

Having done some emergency work in order to get the ship out of imperial danger was a shock to the system and there has been some pretty heavy damage to it, it is still somewhat operable but reliability is questionable.

Kol DyThrand |

Looking at the blinking red and yellow warning squares on the damage control screens, Kol frowned and bit his lip as he made some estimations.
"Ah, we really need ta land and make repairs. No way we're gonna be able to make the jump to lightspeed unless we do. Anyone see a good place in sensor range?" He announced to the rest of his crew.
He carefully touched a control and another piece of hyperdrive equipment in the back exploded in a shower of multicolored sparks.
He flinched and exclaimed "It's not my fault!"

Ardan Kwinn |

"There's a desert planet. Pick a spot. I'm sure there's plenty of sand," says Ardan wryly.
"No telling if there are any settlements. Picking up anything on scanners? Do we still have scanners?"

Sebbik |

Sebbik uses the scanners to find a settlement where they can perhaps find the parts needed to get them limping again. At least as far as Alderaan!

Sebbik |

Sebbik frowns and reports. "Nothing on the scanners. We'll have to set down and see what can be done with the parts we've got on board." The duros nimbly skims the ship through the atmosphere of the desert planet, looking for a good (i.e. safe) place to land the vessel.

Quen Pah |

When you enter into the med bay, you see the older woman sitting up in bed.
The eyes of the older woman on the bed flicker open and then seem
glazed for a long moment before drawing into sharp focus. She lifts
her head slightly to look you over before raising herself to a sitting
position.
“Thank you. I’ve spent too long trapped inside my own body. Tell
me, how fares the war? What planet is this? Has the Jedi Council
sent you to find me?”

Waylon Stanmore |

Waylon follows Dreams back and leans against the door before answering the woman, "The Council is no more. Can you tell us when you were last awake?"

Quen Pah |

She looks very confused. My name is Jedi Master Denia, trained as a sage by the Jedi Order.
Clearly, the woman has no idea that the Clone Wars are over, nor
how much time has passed since she was placed in her coma. She tells
the heroes that she is a Jedi Master and that she was assigned to Plo
Koon’s battle group here on Cato Neimoidia. She was engaged in a
pitched battle against the Separatists when a droid starfighter crashed
near her, sending her into blackness. When her mind had recovered from
the damage done to her body, she found herself unable to awaken or to
purge her system of the drugs that were keeping her in a coma. She has
been trying to reach out for help, but the only visitor to her room has
been someone who seems shrouded in darkness. She doesn’t know who
this person is.
It was not until I felt a welcome prescence in the Light Side of the Force, which I now recognize as this young padawan, she points to Donavaan, [/b] that I began to wake up, but it took me time to come to my full senses. [/b]

Ardan Kwinn |

Up in the cockpit, Ardan takes a look at the damaged sensor readouts to try to find a spot that might have water, at the very least. If the ship's going to be on the ground for a while making repairs, they should make sure that they have the survival supplies covered.
