Abnaki v'Cardi |
Tapped out of bardic performance, running low on high level spells, and blind in the sewers of Hearth. That old fortune teller was right.
Not having anything to contribute without sight based targeting, Abnaki passes.
Samen Vloe Firenze |
Samen takes full advantage of Abnaki's cry of haste in a flurry of actions.
Swift Action: Spell recall bringing back Shatter.
Samen, for once, sucks energy out of his staff to fuel the same spell over again on the other scattered mirror creatures. It strangely drains him as much as pushing into it, but the tinkling of breaking glass soothes his weary spirit. He then steps up to smack the ones in Abnaki's face.

ok, Phon is now at 33 HP
Phon Vos first says a quick prayer to River, the god of healing, as the pain from the silver golem's attack fades a bit.
Taking advantage of the haste as well, Phon Vos quickly dispatches the shard-things that cluster around her. The silver golem remains.
Hubristic Efreeti |
another group melts into a Silver Golem!
The moon inquisitor mutters, "You're all too clever, hmm? Well, let's grind you into the mortar then."
Again in Doppish, the figure gives detailed commands to both golems.

The golems both take solid blows from hammer and staff; you can tell you've done damage, but they are resilent foes.
--
Gabriel catches the inquisitor awkwardly crouching for a moment, shoulders slumped as he contemplates the broken pieces of mirror. Your sword slashes across his back, leaving an ugly red welt on his pale skin, and the inquisitor squeals in pain.

Round 3 Begins!
Gabriel, the silvery-faced inquisitor edges away from you, and casts a spell. In a bland statement of fact, he says, "We're friends, aren't we? Friends, you and I."
Will Save DC 18 or be charmed. You get an additional +5 to your will save because you are in combat with the caster.
Gabriel Will: 1d20 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 5 = 22

damage, no command: 2d10 + 2 ⇒ (6, 9) + 2 = 17
and misses.

damage, no command: 2d10 + 2 ⇒ (2, 8) + 2 = 12
and hits! 12 bludgeoning damage Phon Vos.

"No more talking."
Sculpt sound, DC 17 will or be unable to make noise with his voice, this prevents him from casting any spells with verbal components.

Gabriel will keep attacking the Priest, completely focused on the target he deems the greatest threat, Never send a spell to do a blades job. And No we arent friends, enchantment magics are the most evil magics. Gabriel is aiming for the shoulder and neck as he slashes completely. The attempted mental influence, seems to have made him more angry.
would Gabriel get an Aoo for his attempted Spell cast? Idk ill post that regardless

Round 4 Begins!
The moon inquisitor takes another step back, desperately looking about now - from the way he is staggering about, you'd say one more slash of your sword will do the job.
He looks at Gabriel, seeming to truly notice the black veins for the first time. "Ah, you must hate yourself, yes? A division within the self."
לְפַצֵל
Gabriel, will save at DC 17, BUT this is at -2 because the black curse makes you more vulnerable to attacks of this nature. If you fail, you have to use your standard action to make an attack using your sword against yourself.
Gabriel Izalith |
will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
No not particularly Gabriel will continue the 5 foot step chase and attack, after shaking off the spell rather easily despite his vulnerability.
attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
damage: 1d8 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Abnaki v'Cardi |
"Honestly? 5% chance of any spell working." Abnaki grumbles. "It would've been a little harder to resist if a smoke spirit hadn't eaten my magic headband, and I hadn't used all my usual magic summoning the dream crow."
Almost as an afterthought he adds, "Oh right. Fighting." Abnaki does his best to imitate the voice of the talkative priest.
Bluff?: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25
and says to the golem, "Stand down."
Hubristic Efreeti |
Abnaki, unfortunately you would need to a) know the Doppish language and b) you would need to know the syntax that Golem commands use. We'll say talking was a free action.
Abnaki still has actions left - you could attack the assassin directly adjacent to you, or flank with Samen.
Samen and Phon Vos may act as well. I will update tomorrow morning.
Samen Vloe Firenze |
Samen cries out weakly, and a bit of blood trickles out of his mouth. He may have hit a lung. Nothing inhaling a little acid won't fix. This isn't the first time he's been in a race to the mat, and hopefully it's not his last. Samen does his best to re-unconscious-ify the Undine. Trying not to kill him, so no power attack.

Round 5 Begins!
The golem, now masterless, abandons all restraint and swings wildly at you. Its own limbs deform slightly under the heedless assault.
golem berserk slam: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 10 - 2 = 27
berserk damage: 1d2d10 + 10 ⇒ (6, 3) + 10 = 19
golem berserk slam 2: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 10 - 2 = 11
berserk damage: 1d2d10 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
You are hit by one fist, and it crunches into your face, pushing you back with sheer strength.
19 damage Phon Vos. Now at 5 HP. You have also been pushed back five feet.
Gabriel Izalith |
Gabriel will spend his turn, searching the dying priest for something that controls the golem or cold be used to handle it going berserk
Abnaki v'Cardi |
"Well s&%@."
Abnaki desperately stabs at the golem with his longspear.
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Attack, but haste: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

Attack but iterative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
His skill is undeniable, but the strength is lacking. Fortunately, his banner still gives everyone +2 to hit and damage!
Samen Vloe Firenze |
Samen lurches, then suddenly blinks, toward the golem.
Bladed Dash: 1d20 + 14 + 2 - 2 - 2 + 1 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 14 + 2 - 2 - 2 + 1 + 2 + 3 = 20

Iterative: 1d20 + 14 + 2 - 2 - 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 2 - 2 - 2 + 1 + 2 = 23
Dmg: 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (5) + 19 = 24
Abnaki v'Cardi |
"Well, that could have gone better. I don't think we're equipped to deal with countless silver golem." Abnaki pauses and thinks for a second. "Do you think they could be stuck in the dreamlands? Regardless, we've got the priest and the mook, we should have a chat with them."
Abnaki shudders. "But they can probably plane shift. And I only know one way to stop a spellcaster in a more permanent manner, and I certainly don't want to cut out their tongues."
Samen Vloe Firenze |
Just for clarification, is it an Undine priest of Moon, or a Moon elen like Ky La?
Samen Vloe Firenze |
Samen nods at Abnaki's assessment. His voice is wet with blood. "Cutting off the hands is usually equally effective, but let's try simple restraints for now. Worst case, we can let Abby eat him."
Hubristic Efreeti |
though it is difficult to say for sure as the el seems to have had molten silver poured on his face at some point in his life, but the grayish skin tells you it is a Moon elen (the language is Doppish, and let's call the elens themselves dopplers, since doppleganger is too long for my taste) If I'm not mistaken this is the second specimen of doppler you have found, aside from Ky La.
Gabriel Izalith |
I think... I understand what's going on now...White obsidian Gabriel seems deep in thought as a hand casually traces one of his black lines, are the shadows working with the moon or is it theft...or am wrong entirely...
