Sorry, no interest. I've been burning out a bit on pbp so as it appears GM Fox Phantom appears unable to return I plan to simply bow out under the circumstances.

This game had fallen off my radar, actually. Not in the archive state, yet, obviously, but not on my mind, either.
I've got 11 games (and the recruitment thread) on my active games page.
2 of them are effectively dead.
4 of them are very slow.
3 of them are middlin' slow.
1 just started.

If we don't post to it, it will eventually fade into inactive on its own after about three-six months. (It was probably about to do that when folks started posting to discussion.)
The other way is for somebody to "inherit" the game as a new "GM" (even if they are not planning to run)--they would need to contact Paizo and say they inherited the game, and then once Paizo hands over the campaign to that person, they can mark the game as inactive.
It's also possible we could just ask Paizo to mark the game as inactive.

Presumeably there is someone in charge of these forums [Tyranus?] who could do that.
The other thing that could be done is to post in the PFS1 discussion or recruitment thread and explain the situation. Hopefully someone would step up and fix it.

The thread is going to go to inactive soon anyway if nobody posts in the gameplay - this is an automatic process of the boards.
Yes, would someone here post in recruitment and explain the situation?

PSF forums aren't for fixing play-by-posts.
If you want someone to "inherit" the campaign to shut it down, you'll need to follow the giant text instructions at the top of the main page of the Online Campaigns Subforms and email customer.service@paizo.com and ask them for help. It's highly unlikely that posting to a forum will help; I could be wrong but that is my understanding based on both Paizo's instructions and prior experience.
If you post in recruitment you might find someone who wants to GM.
Good luck folks.
