Same here. If I did not receive a PM, I would not have known. :(

*Waves madly*
A happy and heart felt welcome t' ye!

Destinie, good to see you decided to port over. :)
DM-Camris |
Reijo Ilvonen |
Hey Camris, a quick clarification if you will. Do the "savage men" look human? Or do they look like Sunny (i.e. elves of an aquatic and tanned variety)? Or something else?
Would be good to know if she can speak their language and have sway with them (as one of them) or not.
Thanks!
"Sunny" |
Uhm... if'n they wus 'Savage Elfs' would'a GM Camris not bin sayin' that?
Iz how wordin' works, right?
Like, I know us Kin can be gettin' right agressive if'n ye rile us up some.
*Makes 'Rrrr-arrr' noises and little 'clawing' motions*
(I kid! Must admit I was making the assumtion from GM Camris' use of the word 'Savage men'. So, yeah, maybe clarification? After all, we all know what assuming gets a person. 'Making a Ass out of you and me'. ) Much cheers to all.

We're running with the idea that we got left here on a bad bet and were exploring this wreck when the savages showed up. We went into the wreck to reduce the attack angles. Now you're caught up.
Seadreamer_Stonebeard |
man these natives are getting handsy

Lol.
by the power of Greyskull. . . . . . :)
Now honestly, I could have gone divine commander, which would give me a mount, but they would be a challenge on a ship.

*Nods*
Yup.
I like a build I have of Sunny that comes with a giant riding constrictor.
That build is more a dex combat sort of style. Having a giant snake one could simply mount up and 'Swim away on' kind of riuns the mood of the current adventure GM Camris has for us.
Though, whos' to say by the final part of the adventure when we get to lvl three and it's time toget off this rock I don't dip into the class? (^_~)
Much cheers to all.

So, I would like to Retcon something. Now that Destinie has joined us, I would have put the protection blessing on her.
Shaedeen M. Valzanar |
Well... hope I soaked some of the low numbers from the dice roller for people. :P
You and Camris both! (Seriously--check out the d20 rolls in his last post!)
Shaedeen pitched in as well, with a Nat 1 on her crit confirm roll. (Totally expected.)

Ha, I will be lucky if the dice roll above a natural 10.
If it really matters, I rarely get good rolls.

Until Sunny finds some clothes with pockets, Shaedeen will continue to carry Sunny's share of the gems we found recently. Maybe even afterwards! Such a kind and true friend! :D

Very sorry if Sunny's natural self is bothering/bad for players/characters.
Will endeavour to get something on her at the first opportunity, honest.
It's all in good fun. It's fine by me.
Seadreamer_Stonebeard |
As well as myself.
Terry of Quent |
Not bothering me. Gives me a chance to highlight the fact female nudity isn't a big deal to Terry. Growing up in a whorehouse has that effect.

If we split the coins six ways, that means we each take:
- 83 gold crowns,
- 83 silver pennies, and
- 83 copper farthings.
This leaves 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 copper extra to split six ways.
Roll for it? I'm thinking we each roll 1d100: the highest two rollers get an extra gold piece each, the next higher two get an extra silver, and the lowest two get an extra copper. I'll defer my roll to avoid cheating. :)

randomness: 1d100 ⇒ 4
Anyone do a share for group, so that the party will always end up with cash for wands, places to stay, and other things.
Also prevents the healers from having to spend their own money on healing items for the party.
Of course, if you want to continue I have no issues with that either. :)
Edit, I guess its copper for me. . .. . my usual luck.

*Leans over and absently looks at the shiny...*
Uhm...
1d100 ⇒ 18
Sooo... whut happens if no one gets a high roll, then?
*Shrugs and ambles off, seemingly finding nothing really interesting in shiny*

Hmm...If only one of the two remaining players roll really low...I'm a winner!
I'll just wait here and hand Reijo and Terry their d20s when they're ready to roll....
Shaedeen Bluff Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Man, the dice roller, really has it out for us.
Just glad its for these kind of rolls, and not attack and defend rolls
Reijo Ilvonen |
I love how Shaedeen was so upset with her 23, then everyone else rolls even worse. :)
Mine!: 1d100 ⇒ 20
It actually would make sense for Shaedeen and Reijo to get the gold, the two greediest b******'s in the party, probably. ;)

Maybe I should have asked about that before doing the math if we want a party fund... :)
If we'd prefer, I'm fine with that?
Split 7 ways, we'd each get:
- 71 gold,
- 71 silver, and
- 71 copper.
That leaves 3 gold, 3 silver, 3 copper extra. If we go this route, I'd suggest donating 1 each into the party fund, thus leaving us with the original 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 copper to split amongst ourselves via our fabulous d100 rolls. :)

How about doing the math instead?
555/7 = 79.28 with 4 copper remaining.
Everybody gets the EQUIVALENT of 79 gold, 2 silver, and 8 copper, while the common share gets the equivalent of 79 gold, 3 silver, and 2 copper
Math really IS your friend!
72 G 65 S 78 C - 215 coins
72 G 65 S 78 C
72 G 65 S 78 C
71 G 76 S 68 C - 215 coins
71 G 76 S 68 C
71 G 76 S 68 C
71 G 77 S 62 C - 210 coins - Group share.
Why dice off when it can be split equitably?
- And somebody will have to carry Sunny's share, as well as the group share.
