Sounds like your computer is in better shape at least.

As for this game... I think it usually takes Camris between a month and two to get back to us and it's only been 3 weeks since his last post, so all is not lost yet. :)

Ever wonder what Reijo would sound like if he were a "singing" bard in the real world?

This is what I imagine he sounds like when raging, or when I write things like he "growls like a rabid dog" and do intimidate checks, LOL.

Still checking in myself...

Camris has not posted since July, though. A month away is normal for him, but it's approaching three now. This game will probably be moved to inactive in a couple of weeks, I think 3 months is the mark. So... it's not looking good for this game.

Hey welcome back, Camris! Happy to see you return.

I'll be back to post over the weekend (I need to get up for work in about 6 hours). Just wanted to say I'm still here for now. :)


Must admit... I realise this Sunny is rather sub optimal when it comes to build.

Given the chance I'd tweak her some given hindsight.

Ah well.. maybe with some money and time I can get in some 'Retraining'?

Hopefully her perception is enough that she's got a good idea of how people are fairing in combat and she can help people back towards the surface.


Just adding a cautionary 'Dot' after site maintenance...

OKeys... Sunny doesn't seem to be doing a lot as is.

So next round maybe dive deeper and attack the skelitons from bellow?

Will that make them 'Flat footed' (Even though they're swimming) Will it give Sunny an edge (Hah!) in being able to hit them?

If they're flat footed, will she be able to add her sneaky attack damage?

Will her 'Sneak att' damage combine with her 'Boar style' if she hits with both hands?

Enquiring minds and all that.

Also, she should be able to see poor Shaedeen a little better and her sinking situation, and so be in some position to maybe help the other lass?

Sunny: Nothing you can do about the water; it's so turbid due to mud there's no way to see through it without some kind of super vision, blindsense, etc.
These skeletons are base skeletons and don't have immunity to sneak attack damage. You can flank attack them with an ally to get the +2 to hit and any sneak damage. You can also grapple them to give an ally an advantage to hit them.
Looks like your Boar style will penetrate the skeletons DR5, and hitting with both hands will be able to stack with sneak attack damage.

Just realised this is probably the very first time I've thought about wanting a Cleric with "Purify water" to be handy... :P


OKay... now Sunny definately would like a Cleric. Even a little one...

I think I ned another feat such that Sunny's punches can be classed as 'Piercing' and 'Slashing' items. WIll have to look into that for future..


As for Clerics, you're in luck! Jask is one.
But really, you need to get a flank and sneak attack one. These guys aren't immune.


Sunny just did the sneaky and flanky thing. Good amount of damage there.

Now, where'd Jasks be gettin' too...?

Just did a Search in the old campaign for "cure." Didn't find any potions, but that No-Eyes geezer did cast a couple of cure light wounds spells (after pouring whisky on the recipient's head!) in the past. He may be Sunny's hope for survival.

HEY! Lookee what I found when I searched the current thread!

This is from when Reijo and Sunny swam out to the wreck of our ship shortly after we arrived on the island, and Shaedeen opted not to accompany them cuz she feared she wasn't a good enough swimmer. (Smart girl, given her apparent expertise in sinking inside the watery shaft.)

The other disturbing thing is the 'Spontanious' undead generator some where down there... (>_>)

A couple posts down from the one I linked, Reijo gave the cure moderate wounds potion to Thurden and seemed to distribute the others to the rest of the party. If Camris will allow a retcon, Shaedeen can dig out a potion and hand it to Sunny before sinking.

Also of note, Jask's gear included two more potions of cure light wounds, so we've got to remember to loot his body before escaping.

Er, before escaping and giving the poor guy a decent burial, of course! :)

Must admit... now quite a while after her beginning, I'm favouring a more 'Powerful' build of Cavalier/witch over Monk/Ninja.

Also, I don't think Sunny has signalled her team she's in critical need of healing yet.

Apologies for the long absence. I've had a lot going on the past month with work, my side business, and other stuff. I'll definitely be back to post soon (have to wake up in about six hours for work now), will shoot for Tuesday night.

Hopin' ye all had a greatest times an' got right an' propper stuffed an' thingys! (^_^)


Okay. Not going to lie. I feel Sunny could do with just a tad more 'Hitting' power.

That being said, She's pretty good for an ocean adventure just... not currently for fighting in said adventure. :P

[oo]I've got a different build which starts with Cavalier as the base for a giant rising snake, then dips into 'Barbarian' for "Titian Mauler" before alternating between 'Witch' and back into 'Cavalier'.[[/ooc]

It also leans HEAVILY on the 'Squire' and 'Follower' feats to generate its own 'Coven'. Which, with the right feats worked in with said NPC's, generates a lot of extra magic.

So. A giant snake suddenly turning up.. and potentially being a ride off this god-forsaken pit of land, obviously might be too much. Even assuming 'Retraining' can even be a thing. Will give where Sunny is currently at some thought on how to possibly transition.

Sorry if I seem like I'm overcompensating but...
