Murder is nothing new to the people of Ptolus. However, it does disrupt life in Ptolus. The player characters are private investigators. It's up to them to solve the murders.
Angeus puffs herself up in mock importance, then subsides, smiling at Lizette, "Not a boss...well, not yet! We're all in this together! " she states emphatically.
But she ponders Lizette's question, looking to the Constable, "Where was the body found...is it still there? And to Lizette's other question, where did the priest ply his trade? And what was his name?! " she asked, ticking off the question on the fingers of one hand.
By the quotes, can I assume she had to undergo a sham 'conversion' when she came to attend Muskellins Acadamcy for Girls ? 'Cause , this from her personality still applies : She fully embraces the tenets of the worshiop of the Dohrinthian God Lurg, God of Luck and Fortune!! :)
Angeus nods at Maicoh's question, her face screwing up at the obviously unpleasant memory, "Yeah, I know the way...." she says , for her a little morosely. Then she perks up and almost shouts, "Let's go!"
Buoyed by the knowledge of a 1000gp chit under her tunic, Angeus quickly puts aside the negative thoughts that St. Thessina has brought up, and strides quickly out into the buys Ptolus street...
Lizette follows along with the others but keeps an eye on the people they pass. She keeps track of the route they take so she would be able to find her way back home.
Angeus dodges a heavily laden wagon, then answers Lizette's question, "Me? No, I'm from Dohrinthas. My Pa thought he'd ship me here to gain some culture. Been here two years.... I think! " she says, as her brow furrows as she tries to figure out just how long she's been in Ptolus.
Then she shrugs, smiles and asks, "What of you two...Ptolus born and bred?"

"I'm actually from a village pretty far away. I was came here to work with one of the members of the inverted pyramid. I'm supposed to learn more magic. This little chit we got will go a long way towards that goal."
Lizette continues to follow Angeus as she winds her way towards the temple. This area of the city is unfamiliar to the thief, and she keeps a wary eye on the people she passes and the dark places she would use to hide from prying eyes.
So far, everyone has been high brow as they pass you. Entering a suburb of what Ptolus is, a city, brings you to the attention of relatively few people. What you see is the Longfingers Guild doing thier duty work of picking pockets. You see a young waif try to pick pocket you, but your chit is safe.
Angeus nods sagely at Lizette's explanation, then continues on leading the others through the city.
She calls out every now and then to someone she knows or in response to the like from another acquaintance. Nothing better than a stroll in the sun in a city like Ptolus!
Her smile fades a bit as they turn onto the Chapel's street, stating in mock enthusiasm, "Oh there it is!"
Soon all are standing before the Temple of St. Thessina, not realizing the terrible scowl that marred her fair features.
The chapel looks like any Chapel you are used to. There is a spire, a place for worship, and about a dozen other rooms used for "Sunday School." There are stained glass windows and a door that can be opened to enter through.
Inside, you see an opulent chapel, with pews made of polished wood and stained glass windows. About sixty feet away from you are the soul altars. And there stands the pulpit in the center. The floor from your feet to the pulpit is stained with blood. There had been a murder here recently.
Angues follow the others in after taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly.
She approaches the blood, crouching down and looking from the floor upto the pulpit, "Messy..." she comments, before moving down the pew and going around and up to the pulpit to look at the scene there...
Lizette joins Angeus in her examination of the scene.

Lizette:
You have a better time of it than Angeus. You notice a bloody knife, and the body itself has a wound in the back. Much of the blood was pooled on your right side.
You see the dead body as a magical aura, so you see how the dead body was laid. There is a stab wound in the heart of the dead body, and it looked like it was a right handed strike. Also, you see that the priest was wearing his robes of office, so the attack happened after one of his sermons.

Maicoh moves to an empty spot and crouches down examining something that isn't there. He points to a spot "The body is right here, looks like someone didn't want it found. You may be able to feel it without special senses. Looks like he was stabbed in the heart. The assailant was right handed too. He's still wearing his regalia so it looks like the attack happened during a sermon. There should be some witnesses."
