(b) I can recruit a 6th off the forums. (Pros: fills game, may fill a skill gap; Cons: will delay the game by a few days)

(c) I can wait until we see what characters people are bringing, and then decide. (Pros: most flexibility; Cons: could delay the game by more than a few days if people are slow in checking in)

1. Aiden has played #0-05: Mists of Mwangi, but as a player, I've played many of those scenarios. If you need to know which ones, let me know.

2. I don't mind delaying the game some. B or C is fine with me. If people want to run with 5, that's fine too, but I don't mind waiting to give someone else a chance to join us.

Aiden is a melee debuffer. He can specializes in Dirty Trick, especially when he can get a flank. He has nets and tanglefoot bags, and he can demoralize with his +17 Intimidate skill.

I'd like to bring this character. He just hit 7th level so might skew the numbers up so let me know if I need to play another character. Also, I'll need to actually level him up before we start. He's the only character I have free who's played any of the scenarios in question.

Probably worth mentioning - Djorn's Favored Terrain is Urban - +2 bonus on initiative checks and Knowledge (geography), Perception, Stealth, and Survival.

And he has Terrain Bond from his Guide Archetype so all my allies within line of sight who can hear me get the bonuses to Perception, Stealth, and Survival, too.

This is an FYI that I'm going to be away and without access to internet this coming Saturday and Sunday. I will return Sunday evening, when I will catch up on weekend posts.

#0-05 was the first PFS scenario I played with a non-pregen character. It was Diazepane's inaugural scenario.

I too played Mist of Mwangi.

We all went bananas for it, but at least it had an ape-y ending.

Mists of Mwangi is one of three scenarios in this character's early career where he came within a round of dying.

On my mission, one of my team mate was a vanara.

He wasn't impressed.

I have not been rolling for Perception vs Stealth; as it currently stands, Nali's max Perception of 20+13 will auto-fail, and her min Stealth of 1+17+20 will auto-succeed.

Please vote as to whether the Society should continue its alliance with the Blakros family. (It's irrelevant to the immediate scenario but I imagine it will come up in PFS2.)

Nali's opinion is to cut ties. In her opinion, the risk/reward balance is heavily not in our favor, and the only person that seems to be in favor of the Society is Hamalia.

That is a very sweet wand of greater invisibility even with only 2 charges on the chronicle sheet.

I really don't understand the Chronicle items (as a general thing about PFS1). You can either get 2 charges of greater invisibility for 450 gp ... or you can spend 5,400 gp to make your food taste like cinnamon oatmeal?!

I believe the first Blakros-related PFS2 scenario came out recently (#2-07) - I wonder if the PFS1 #10-18 votes factored into the writing.

I suspect items like that become more valuable in games with nitpicky GMs (and not in Society Play.)

I can carry 20 pounds of food to hopefully not die of starvation before I ever even see the dragon holding the princess...or I can carry a spoon that generates enough food to keep me alive but with oatmeal that literally tastes like cardboard.

As opposed to you get off the boat, go beat up some people on the shadow plane and are back at the lodge in time for dinner.

Out of curiosity I wondered if Pathfinder has prices for cinnamon. It's 1 gp per pound. If you use 1 tsp (2.6 g, 0.0057 lbs) per meal, three meals/day, it'll last you 58 days. So the spoon will pay for itself in 316,000 days.

For 5,400 gp, that food better taste like filet mignon! :D

No, no...the spoon produces food. It's just that normally the food tastes terrible and this particular spoon makes food that tastes decent and not like cardboard.

Granted, food is cheap so it would still take a long time for it to pay itself off.
