Channel Positive Energy coming next level. At this point I don't have a plan to invest in selective channel.

If it gets in the way of your planned build, then don't worry about it. But if you have room to squeeze it in, then it's not a bad thing to have.


That guy had DR 5. He was about to cast grease under you. Once again smite evil is a game changer.

Niu, she is stable so you could just hide her somewhere :-)

Smite evil is the most broken ability in the game.

I kept meaning to ask earlier, but I kept getting sidetracked by work.

That con check that you wanted me to make. Wouldn't it have been made moot by Niu healing me?

This is my first time playing as or even with a Pali, in my head the x/Day limit had me write Smite off in theory, but I underestimated it. But it is powerful, and you don't have that many fights in a day.
My archetype gives up 2 of the daily uses down the line

Looks like we have a few scrolls of lesser restoration; anyone else have anything to fix the ability damage? I think we only get 1 point back from rest, right?

It was fun, first time for the kids, they had a blast. Spring camping in the northwest so plenty of rain.


That is great. I always loved camping.

No special skills are required to control an illusion. It costs us nothing and at the minimum should gain us a round or two of getting attacked.

Growing concern for Agni's player. She did seem to have something going on physically with at least sleep. I poked around her aliases and the last post I saw was June 22nd. She was a regular poster up until then.

Anyone can bot her while we hope for the best. If you do not, I will. Just a matter of timing imo.

Paizo loves traps like that. Almost as much as they love throwing swarms at lvl 1 characters.

Hopefully there is an opportunity to bring in another character

It will not make much difference imo, but I will clue you in to what it is after the encounter.


You will reach level four if you complete this way point.

The next way point is very, very well written and unlike anything I have seen before. It will be challenged to present it properly. Much time will be spent on that before you get there. My intention is to present that to you in even more detail than the pdf gives us.

Agni's player is now 30 days without a post as far as I can tell. I plan to have her fall off the side of the dead road. That transports to another location in the boneyard. That will give us an opportunity to replace her without killing her.

If anyone knows of a player they would like to join us please let me know. I hate open recruitment but that is how Niu and I met. That was totally worth the heartache :-)

My list of reliable players is essentially just the four of us now. I am also beginning to lose interest in 1E as a system.

That is not a reflection on the GM, who has been fantastic.

I love the stories these APs tell, and want to keep going with this group, but I also won't be horribly upset if the game ends.


Are you up to speed on 2e?

Fairly well yes. Eventually, Paizo will release enough stuff that the system will become as bloated and unmanageable as 1E, but for now it is a pretty good system.


I was impressed when I looked at it again. Have not put enough time into it yet to be proficient.

True. As painful as it is to start at level 1, I believe your character ends up far better tweaked.

I could bot Agni for you. I have no problem doing my best to kill myself on one move and then trying to kill myself from the other side on the next move. Have developed that distancing over the years.

But I think we need to have 4 players as a best case scenario. Looks like we will open up to public recruiting before too long. In the past, I opened it until we chose the player. Got one within a few hours once and had a few complaints about that. Water on a duck's back.

You, as players, will choose that recruit. I will retain a veto based on post history, etc.

Looked into your AP, Etgr. I can find no reviews... So new?

I have an idea for a witch I have been wanting to try.

I can't say that a Harry Potter AP appeals to me all that much (though it is probably more interesting than being circus performers LOL).

Finally getting to explore the Mwangi though is excellent.

I'd love to do Discord, but IIRC Igar doesn't like it.
