Holy Tattoo When you had your deity’s holy symbol tattooed on your body by a Sczarni tattooist years ago, you never imagined it would save your life. Your holy symbol tattoo functions in all ways as a holy symbol (Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Equipment 57). When you use your holy symbol tattoo to keep a vampire at bay, the DC for the vampire to overcome its revulsion is 28 (rather than the normal 25).

The Reclaimer You lost something precious in the destruction of Roslar’s Coffer 12 years ago—a home, a legacy, perhaps even family—but returned because a soul shouldn’t run from pain, but heal from it. Rebuilding your life and preventing that same hurt from dragging down others drives you to serve and protect, perhaps as a politician, charity worker, healer, or soldier, but that same loss fills you with an uncharitable anger that is often difficult to reconcile. Your wary eyes grant you a +1 trait bonus on Perception checks. You gain a +1 trait bonus on attack and damage rolls against any opponent that dealt hit point damage to one of your allies in the previous round.

Background:

Agnimitra was born a rarity in Varisia. Her literal fiery features brought awe and wonder to her parents, and the immediate family and friends around her. Unfortunately, she never had the chance to experience this much as her small village was raided and all but destroyed when she was still little more than a babe. Somehow, she was spared, and later happened upon by a traveling priest of Sarenrae. Seeing the infant as touched by the Dawnflower herself, he took it upon himself to care for her until she was old enough to start her own training. While she easily took up the faith of Sarenrae, she was found to almost be too zealous, and a little too willing to draw blood, for a regular cleric. Instead, she was trained up as an Inquisitor to face the enemies of the church.

Despite her faith, she was still young and rebellious. The priest had told her about where he had found her, which ignited an anger in her. More than anything, though, she wanted to make a connection to her Varisian heritage. So she found a Sczarni tattooist who was willing (for a 'reasonable' sum) to tattoo the holy mark of Sarenrae just below her right collar bone. The priest was disappointed, but understood the young ifrit's reasoning behind the rash act, and decided to give it the blessing of Sarenrae.

Early in her training, she was sent to Roslar's Coffer to learn about their war with the Whispering Way, when the orc invasion happened, killing many and driving the rest away. The young ifrit was too young and inexperienced to be of much help in reclaiming the town, but she used her faith and skills to help the survivors as best as she could. She came to make a home among the people, and was accepted as one of them, so that when the town was finally reclaimed, she had a place amongst the defenders as a full-fledged Inquisitor, though she was a little too care-free for the lawfully-minded military.

Agnimitra continues to spend her days assuring the people of Sarenrae's light and purifying fire, and looking for opportunities to prove herself against the real enemy.

Description:

Standing at 5'8" (130 lbs), Agnimitra is an average young woman (by human standards) with a solid, well muscled build. Her short red hair looks more like flickering flames than actual hair, as it seems to move subtly of it's own accord. Her green eyes shine like bright jewels, and her tanned skin doesn't seem to lighten in even the coldest weather. She has a well-drawn tattoo of Sarenrae's holy symbol just below her right collar bone, which she makes sure is visible at all times. Her clothing and armor are always bordering on immodest, though never overly revealing.

While friendly with others, Agnimitra is brash and impulsive, looking to prove herself and protect those in her care. While she doesn't ignore Sarenrae's teachings for mercy, she lives by the following tenant the most: "The best battle is a battle I win. If I die, I can no longer fight. I will fight fairly when the fight is fair, and I will strike quickly and without mercy when it is not." While she was never able to fully live up to the Paladin's code, she sees it as a goal to be possibly be achieved one day.
