Seeing all of their combat-skilled teammates moving full speed down the hall, Shoma reaches out telepathically to Mec-01 - "one of you will cover the common room, right?"

When I open the channel to you with Telepathic Message, you can reply silently too - it's a two-way channel - but messages are limited to 10 words per round.

Shoma climbs 5 feet along the doorframe and railing to crouch just inside the engine room, and readies their laser pistol to fire in case they see anyone enter.

I think I would have checked the door at least - it's still a concern as an access point. Do I see any control to seal it from the inside, or can I find a way to jerry-rig it to seal it shut? If so, I do that, and then turn to face the doorway leading into the ship. If I can't see a way to seal it, I move through it as planned.

While there doesn't seem to be a way to close any of the doors, Shoma is able to take a moment to adjust the door sensors to force it remain closed. Shoma feels fairly confident that the portal is sealed shut and would take some significant effort to open up.

He then jest forward while drawing a tactical baton in his other hand. He slows himself so that he glides silently acroos the hall and comes to a stop behind the captains chair ready to play wack-a-mole with the first person to try to take the flag before him. Person from the other team of course...

FlexNaught is able to make it to the bridge, but the speed requires to traverse such a distance at full speed makes him more visible to his opponents.

The first to come out of the opposing passageway is Verity-5 who takes note of both flag and FlexNaught. They use their jump jets to get to the entry to the bridge debating for a moment on what action to take. "I understand that, like me, you are resistant to this, but for the requirements of my success I need to request you FLEE." The final word resonates with psychic power attempting to drive out all other thought from FlexNaught's processes.

FlexNaught needs to make a DC 13 Will save (mind-affecting). If he fails, this turn must be spent retreating from Verity-5 as quickly as possible with no other actions taken.

Another command is given to try to force Misty to retreat from Verity-5. Misty Kit must make a DC 13 Will save (mind affecting) or spend their next turn fleeing from Verity-5

Shovyzam is the next down the hallway and glancing at the assembled Starfinders she scoffs particularly at Nelek's weapon. "You got some Pact World model version of a Veskarium weapon? Let me demonstrate some real Vesk made tech." She takes s shot at the soldier, but doesn't connect.

He tries to offer a smirk as he falls back, running along the walls with a set of magnetic boots letting him walk with ease across the length. They try to hustle through the doorway and across the engine room wall, but get tangled up in their zero-g suit, and spend a long moment untangling themselves. In the process, they wind up holding their new tac pistol, with the laser pistol jammed in the tac pistol's sheath. They shrug, and mutter "alright, let's get em, slugger..."

Mahari continues to maintain watchfulness through the doorway. She doesn't trust the Moxies, and she knows she'd use some kind of deception or trickery, so that's what she stays prepared for.

Besides, she hates 0-g. Chalk it up to that one time grav went out on the ship she grew up on. Right after breakfast. On her birthday. Yeah, 0-g sucks.

Mahari: Absolutely no problem at all. I completely understand.

Mec-01: Which of the opponents are you shooting at? Verity-5 (at the flag), Shonvyzam (at the center of the hallway), or Rafelo (was at back of hallway)

Nelek's explosive connects with the three members of the other team, but does little to stop them as the arcing energy was minimal.

Verity-5 looks back at their hallway and declares to the others, "It seems as though Tillik has run into some trouble. I'll leave you to deal with the flag while I tend to aid." They fire off a shot with a pulsecaster pistol at Mec-01 before using their jet pack to withdraw into the main hallway.

Shonvyzam welcomes the healing as a second wind, taking only a moment to right themselves again after crashing into a wall. "Fine! You want to fight! I'll give you one! Your weapons are nothing but jokes!" She takes a swing with a cestus at Nelek, connecting with a blow that that drains the soldier of nearly all of their stamina.

Less concerned about the battle behind him and more looking toward the cameras, Rafelo snatches the flag and holds it aloft for a long moment as he cheers. "Make sure to take this moment in! I'm certain there will be a few commissions of an depiction of this very moment for the many galleries."

He pushes off the chair back down the preceding hallway only to take a sonic shot from FlexNaught which dampens his cries of success a bit.

"Alright, I tried. No more Dr. Nice Shoma."

Shoma climbs along the wall towards the battle, taking it slow as they simmer in anger about Verity and Rafaelo foiling our plans.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

As they watch Rafaelo's gloating, their anger starts to boil over. Shoma considers making him flee, like Verity did to our teammates. Or just making him drop the flag and stand there like a loser. But this is a battle now, not a game. And Shoma wants to send a message...

...an overwhelming message.

Rafaelo's mind is filled with images of a decimated battleship, the crew mostly dead, the few left alive bashing their heads against the walls, screaming in agony - as one ship medic with glowing eyes stares out the starboard window at an incalculably massive and ancient being of dark energy. As Shoma wonders why they alone can survive this Thing's presence, why its presence seems to be awakening psychic energies inside them instead of killing them, Shoma looks into Rafaelo's mind's eye and passes it along to him. Can he handle it? Or will it overwhelm his fragile psyche, like it did the rest of Shoma's old crew?

He should probably try to make a DC14 Will save for half damage.

Mind Thrust: 2d10 ⇒ (7, 8) = 15

Move action to climb 10 feet forward along the wall, standard action to offload some trauma. Cathartic!

He's more resilient than I expected, Shoma thinks to themself. But that probably hurt more than I could've done with a pistol anyway.

How does that lethal damage add up with the nonlethal we're doing? Does it just add in, and as long as he's taken to 0 by nonlethal he's knocked out?

Lethal and nonlethal damage are treated as damage once dealt. They aren't tracked separately. If he is taken to 0 or less by nonlethal, he is knocked out. If he was taken to 0 or less by lethal damage, then they are killed (there are can be exceptions, but this is the general case).

Verity-5 does look to their allies with some concern. "I will grant you more strength, but you may need to bypass them Rafelo. Else, Mia, we may need your aid." He channels more healing power rejuvenating the others in the halls, but the android is clearly showing exhaustion as they expend their resolve to keep their allies in the fight.

The healing restores Shonvyzam as she takes a few moments to recover her senses. "Don't think you got anything on me. Even two on one you need lucky hits to make due with you antiquated tech!" She spends her turn reorienting herself and trying to avoid another knock out blow as she find a chance to counter.

With Verity-5's healing Rafelo quickly recovers from the images lingering at the edges of his mind. His momentum carries himself into a corner where he latches on and takes cover.

"I must have gotten light-headed. Something raked across my mind." After another moment he exclaims as he attempts to reclaim a boisterous tone, "No worries though! I have not given up before when carving paths through the deserts of Castrovel and I will not do so now my beautiful audience! FlexNaught, you have fought well, but your efforts will have been for naught." He tries to push himself to land a blow against the agile FlexNaught, but the laser is deflected by the protective armor.
