I am sort of curious if Stormy could/should force the fight. What if she broke the circle... :) Is this an all or nothing decision. Stormy wants the group to fight. Will she be forced to pay? I bet so. IF we decide that we are paying and this is the last encounter, can we fight it out just for fun?

This is up to you all to decide. PvP is not allowed in PFS though, so I suppose no one can technically stop you from attacking it.

Likewise, no one can force you to spend your money either.

What about a 'dance off' ? :-)

Alright, as someone who has played this in Standard (which is part of the reason I stayed in dino-form for the scenario), I will weigh-in here: The 3000gp only comes up if you *don't* have a member of the Exchange in the party - if you do, the faction head gives you some discretionary funds that you can use for exactly this purpose. *shrugs*

Also, Stormy? We just *had* the final fight - the choice now is whether to coup-de-grace the helpless (but conscious) Asura, allowing it to reincarnate elsewhere in a diminished state, or pay to rebind it.

If necessary, and to avoid the argument, I will just pay for it myself (note: there is no difference, in terms of scenario rewards, whether you kill it or rebind it - unless you are a member of the Exchange faction (so for our party, it essentially doesn't matter, mechanically). Radagast just doesn't want an anathema to nature like that roaming free ;-)

Its a strange situation for sure. Still not sure I understand the choices as stated and the only reason Stormy would ever consider attacking it now was she was thinking that was for the greater good. And I thought it was going to be a very hard fight. So did some of the others per thair stated reasons not to fight it. The lesser evil seemed to be to kill the thing and weaken it in its next life?. But you seem to be stating its more evil to release it now than when it will certainly get away in the future at full strength. Time frames are unclear and unstated. If we kill it does it reform today or in 100 years? If we strengthen its prison does it escape next week or in 1000 years? Also we do not understand it's strength now or what it would be if we killed it. Too many unknowns. I guess we are not suppose to know?]

There is a lot of uncertainty in life... although since Radagast pretty much just gave you the inner workings, I am going to call it here.

Since the group seems divided, the leader of the gripplis makes the choice for you. Mother Bogwynne ultimately decides to kill Parveen with the hopes that similarly capable heroes can handle her evil whenever and wherever she reincarnates. The gripplis carefully weaken the wards enough to allow one of them to deliver a coup de grace, killing Parveen thanks to the fiend’s temporary weakness. Parveen shrieks in pain, then laughs maniacally as her soul begins its journey toward reincarnation.

Thank you all for a great game! Given today is Halloween, I probably won't have time to do chronicles today, but will try and get them out tomorrow. I think I have everyone's information, but if you want anything extra noted on your sheet, let me know. Everyone should roll a Boon roll (1d20) for a potential gameday prize.
