It has been quite a while, so please refresh my memory.

I believe there was some difficulty getting it his structure, think it required Acrobatics. It has been so long that all I recall is it being challenging for my character.

We have the secret side room one floor down, but we haven’t been in it since the weather turned cold. I don’t think we know if it would be better there or not.

That is what it was. Untrained in Acrobatics and lack of a Dexterity bonus make uneven terrain really miserable.

Yes. I didn't have enough actions to keep the Grab going, and the Suggestion only lasts for 1 turn, so you're good.

Ephie has a dispel magic prepped, but I doubt it will do much good against a creature whose spell DCs are 26. He would need to roll a 16 or higher to counteract a level 3 effect, and I bet this is a level 4 or 5 effect meaning he needs to crit the check to dispel it.

So, unless things look so desperate Ephie will not be trying to dispel.

- 12 Xp-fine and straightforward, thats a whole level, right? Yes, but it might be split across levels (for example an existing PC with 4 XP getting the chronicle would end up at level 2.33, not 2.0.)
- 12 Rep with a faction: your own faction I guess? You can't get a better Rep with another Faction? You can apply it to any faction you want. you aren;t locked into one in PFS 2e.
- 30 Treasures bundles: that I don't understand. What is a treasure bundle? Why do we get 10 Bundles each 4 XP? Treasure bundles are just level-weighted rewards. for example a level 1 character gets 1.4 gold per bundle, whereas a level 2 Pc gets 2.2 GP per bundle. We apply these in in batches because you might apply the XP across 2 levels (see the first bullet point).
- 24 days of Downtime: what can we use these for? Retraining? Crafting? a few days off at the beach? You can split downtime however you want, I believe, but you should roll downtime /crafting in a max of 8-day batches. Just keep good records.

I made a module gold earned & earn income worksheet. Feel free to use it. It splits the bundles by level for you, and you can use the second sheet to calculate downtime.

Finally, I personally find downtime to be a pain. You don't get much gold with it until higher levels. So I don't really bother with it unless I'm retraining or if it really ties into a character's theme. It's less stress for me, and PFS is already too complicated. Downtime is officially an optional system now.

In PFS 2nd edition, you can pick whichever one faction you want reputation with each chronicle. However, it's best to focus.

Treasure bundles are units of treasure found through a scenario to a max of 10. Their value depends on your level when you earn them. So you get 10 per 4 xp in case you apply the chronicle to someone with part if a level. E.g., Bob has 8 xp, 10 treasure bundles at 1st level value (1.4 gp/bundle) and add 4 xp, now Bob has 12 xp, so next 10 treasure bundles at 2nd level value (2.2 gp/bundle) and add 4 xp, now with 16 xp Bob is still 2nd, last 10 treasure bundles are at 2nd level value.

Retraining, crafting, earn income, finding a new animal companion or familiar. Use it or lose it.

Isn’t it going a little far having a Suggestion that someone kill a friend?

Your honeyed words are difficult for creatures to resist. You suggest a course of action to the target, which must be phrased in such a way as to seem like a logical course of action to the target and can't be self-destructive or obviously against the target's self-interest. The target must attempt a Will save.

Seems like something like that should require Dominate.

I’m having many of my characters go Grand Archive so that they can use it for language training. Easier to deal with just saying 8 more days toward training than doing the earn income calculations.

Unfortunately, you need to be Liked by the faction before you can get that boon.

Everything on the Chronicle goes to the one character it is assigned to.

However, the Bequeathal boon is much easier to obtain in PFS 2nd Ed. You buy it with AcP off the boon store on the character with the option you want to transfer to a different character. So if you wanted to make a shoony at the discounted price with the assigned character but wanted a different character to get access to Juggler archetype, you could Bequeath the archetype.

I can't recall the AcP costs for Bequeathal off the top of my head, but you'll get 12 AcP for the book's chronicle.

The Dominate spell has the Mental trait, so I believe it counts as a mental pell.

Nabi should still be able to act. She should get the opportunity to sneak attack Balenni as she still has three actions left.

I think the succubus is owed 4d6 damage from the escapes of both Clover and Leaf, but it's the GM's call.

Also... I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't want to let this demon who slaughtered a monastery filled with monks get away.

Ephie is inclined to let her go but he's also neutral. Happy to continue beating up a demon, but she is a dangerous enemy.

I am conflicted.

We can’t destroy the demon, just drive it back to it’s own plane.

Given that, I think the greater good would be for it to leave our plane and make it easier to end this Cavnakash’s plans.

Leaf escaping the grapple doesn't count. Clover's subsequent save vs. Dominate probably does count.

And no, it's not the final battle, but she doesn't have a lot of HP. I actually thought you were going to miss this one. I changed the set up in this encounter to be something remotely plausible, but it meant you fighting the minions first and separate from Balenni rather than all together.

All together!? Yeah, that would have been ridiculous. If someone fails or crit fails the save you are in a bad spot. Tell that the wis-dumped barbarian's friends after he crit failed his save when I ran one of these in a 2e modle :p Plus, the succubus can dish out some hurt herself.

Nabi is neutral, but these demons try to out-perform her in the word trade, with deadly consequences. Plus, she is the pretty face around, not some extraplanar harlot. For those offenses, the succubus will die.

She would be happy to send the demon back to her plane with a few more mortal wounds.

Perception is usually used for Sense Motive.

That said, there is the Lie to Me skill feat that allows you to use your own deception as the difficulty for someone trying to deceive a character.

I didn't bot further healing once you took damage, but as abstract as periodic damage is, you--the players--would know the frequency is 1d6 cold damage/hour, with tending to Nabi eating 10 minutes of the next hour.

You could take shelter in the tower somewhere, light a campfire, and bundle yourselves with the less valuable clothes and blankets in Baelenni's room, or you could go outside to camp somewhere.

And Rulean's right about how long it takes to recover from Drained.

So in anticipation of the BBEG battle, I’ve changed my spells around a little. If you have any suggestions that you think would work better, I’m willing to change things around.

Current planned spells:
1 (3/day): Protection from Evil x2, Heal
2 (2/day): Heal, See Invisibility, Spiritual Weapon

See Invisibility seems worthwhile since there were the quasits. I’m not sure there will be time to cast both of them, but we will see.

I had considered Remove Fear, but range touch combined with a counteract check makes it difficult to use.

Yes, I want to use See Invisibility before going up to the top level. Ten minute duration should be good enough.

Think my exploration activity will change to Defend. Cold Iron Pick at the ready.

Really wish I could think of something to do about the stench.

Would still like an answer about what a demon’s blessing is. Guess I will post that in gameplay.
