GM Anthorg - RotR
@Dolgrin: You are looking at a half-open door to the northwest. In the map, it's the room to the northwest of the building, which is still darkened. Dart heard a noise coming from there, but the sound is farther than what the room's size would allow. Dart assumes the goblins went through there.
After a thorough search, Dolgrin doesn't find any secret doors or compartments in the room. The safe hanging open and empty does have a secret compartment, but it is empty as well.
Sorry I can't do much with that whopping 29 Perception roll. There's not much here to see.
Dolgrin Stonecaller
I think you mean north east, because nothing is darkened in the west
Anyway, Dolgrin looks over his shoulder hoping the others follow him and enters the half-open door.
GM Anthorg - RotR
Oh, no! I actually meant northwest, but my dumb self uploaded the picture for the other table's map. I'll upload the correct one now. I'm really sorry. I guess all the suspense is gone.
Dolgrin walks into the room to find a stairway going down. It's pretty dark downstair.
Everyone without darkvision, please act accordingly.
Dolgrin Stonecaller
If it is safe to assume that the goblins ran down these stairs, Dolgrin will motion his party to pursuit.
"I'm sure, you know how to make light", he says to noone in particular without turning his head.
Poppy Pomegranate
After ensuring everyone is OK, she moves beside Dolgrin. its dark there, I can't see anything. I can light a torch. I'll go find one
Poppy goes off to the main room to look for a torch and bring it back. then, after returning, she runs back to the main room again to light the torch, then about halfway back to Dolgrin, she turns back to the main room again to re-light the torch cause it went out.
got light

Dart follows the Dwarf and Gnome cautiously trying to keep and eye and ear out for potential threats.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Dolgrin Stonecaller
Dolgrin also tries to listen for potential noises. Goblin are not known for being silent, except when they plan an ambush.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Because nothing can be heard, he tries to look for tracks of witch way they might have gone.
Survival: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
His tracking skills are pretty lackluster so he just makes an estimated guess, whether they might have headed through the turned down wall or straight forward.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
mega rolls
GM Anthorg - RotR
Both Dart and Dolgrin are perplexed by the coolness of the basement and don't see any sign about which way the goblins might have gone. The group takes a few moments to get their sight adjusted to the darkness in the basement. Given the cobwebs, it doesn't seem this path is much cleaned, but it has some seen some use recently.
Darthain "Dart" Brindleflame

"Well," Dart begins, uncertainly, "if I were trying to run and hide, I'd probably take the smaller passage instead of the bigger one. Maybe we should take the passage to the left? Although, we'll be more cramped that way, but then again, that is part of why I'd go that way..."
Darthain "Dart" Brindleflame

Dart is voting east, but if the party wants to just continue down the larger corridor, he'll go along with that plan, though he'll be keeping a wary eye on that untaken passage.

Dolgrin finds the corridor has another torn down bricked wall further down. There are three doors visible in this corridor. One is to the south in the far wall. Two others are along the east wall, to the left of Mashaka, when she looks at them from this angle. The furthest door on the east wall has some light coming out of some of its cracks.
Dolgrin Stonecaller
who is Mashaka? copy&paste?
With his allies right behind him, Dolgrin will carefully open any door after he listened briefly.

Dart moves just to the corner of the eastern passage and awaits the rest of the group to move forward. While there, he keeps a look out just in case the Goblins went the other route and try to double back on them.

Dart whispers to the group, "I her breathing on the other side of this door. Might be Goblins, but could also be Ameiko and maybe her brother. I'm going to do a quick check for traps."

Dolgrin grabs his shield tight and his Pick high and positions himself ready to charge in.
He looks at Dart and nods.

Dart throws open the door and rushes in behind the Dwarf.
GM Anthorg - RotR
As Dart opens the door, an arrow flies in his direction.
Tsuto readied attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
As quickly as Dart moves, the arrow flies true and sticks in his shoulder. Dart, take 5 damage
Dart catches a glimpse of the room, which is a basic office, with a desk and a shelf. It was a half-elf who shot an arrow at him, and the goblins that ran away are now in this room. There is no sign of Ameiko in there.
Enemies: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Dart: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Dolgrin: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
Izumi: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Poppy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
The enemies stay in their room after the arrow is shot. The party can hear another arrow being drawn.
A larger picture of the half-elf has been added.
Party's up.
Dolgrin Stonecaller
Dolgrin wastes no time and moves inside, his shield raised in defense. He attacks the first target he can reach.
attack : 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Hopefully the Half-elf lacks precision when firing into melee.
Darthain "Dart" Brindleflame

Seeing a room full of enemies, Dart quickly steps back to let his more melee-efficient allies have room to operate and he begins to call out words of inspiration. "Let the unrighteous fall before us! Chop them down as the chaffs of insignificant wheat they are!"
He then ponders whether or not his metaphor is effective as imagery, or simply good because it was delivered confidently.
Inspire courage, +1 to attack and damage
GM Anthorg - RotR
As Dolgrin enters the room and gets close to the goblins, an arrow flies toward him and the goblins attack him.
Tsuto readied action @Dolgrin: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Green readied action @Dolgrin: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Despite being well protected, the arrow pierces his leg, drawing a lot of blood. Dolgrin take 5 damage
Despite taking damage, the dwarf bravely ventures forth and sticks his pick in one of the goblins' skull. His attack leaves the goblin dizzy.
I put Dart's action before Dolgrin's for the extra damage. Poppy and Izumi are up.

Izumi moves up to dart but can't see a way into the room... though she channels energy again...

Per the discussion post, Poppy in in "slow post mode" due to long work days. I'm content to wait a little longer for the next update from our favorite Gnome if everyone else is?
Poppy Pomegranate
thanks for the patience. I found ou that I will be on this schedule until December (good news is lots of overtime pay for Christmas)
does not look like much room to get into blasting position but then again maybe the icons are a little bigger?
If she can get into blast position
Poppy tries to maneuver to see what is going on, I thought something seemed weird about that story. but who's this guy? oh well, we can ask later
drop the bow and surrender or face Tor's vengeance she yells to the half-elf, her hammer charged with another bolt of lightning.
ranged touch if he doesn't surrender: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
electrical damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
if she cannot get into the room
Poppy prepares for the worse. she charges her hammer and the electrical charge soon surrounds her (shield of faith spell)
GM Anthorg - RotR
I'll just say that Izumi stepped back to let you zappity zap. Good that you have work in these times!
As Poppy shoots lightning at the half-elf, he does not release his bow. The goblins retreat a little bit, while one of them swings at Dolgrin before doing so. The half-elf gets up on the desk and shoots at Dart behind Dolgrin.
Blue @Dolgrin: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Tsuto @Dart from high ground: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 6 - 4 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Although the goblin only managed to hit Dolgrin's armor, the arrow hits Dart on the flank, drawing a lot of blood. Dart, take 7 damage
Party's up again

Dolgrin steps closer into the room in order to be a threat to the archer standing behind the table.
"Why are you allying with these creatures?" Dolgrin asks the half-elf politely, while swing at the blue goblin.

Oof, just looked at the map and realized I'd never moved Dart. I'd narrated that he stepped back from the door and forgot to do it. Yikes!
Dart allows his words of inspiration to linger as he turns his attention to helping Dolgrin face better odds. Dart, bleeding from his wound, extends his hands towards one of the Goblins blue and calls out, "[b]May Shelyn's might be felt,[/ooc]" and with that, chains burst from the floor beneath the Goblin and lash out at him.
Barbed Chains: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 111d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
And after the spell is unleashed, he retreats with his wounds a few steps to be out of arrow range.
GM Anthorg - RotR
Dolgrin cuts the blue goblin in half. The half-elf tells him "They are a means to an end!", confidently.
@Dart: That spell is not from one of the allowed books. Please refer to the Campaign Info tab for allowed resources. I'll allow this time, but please change for the next time you recover your slots. Also, the spell requires you to declare if it's an attack or a trip. I imagine it's an attack. P.S.: Sorry I missed you asked to be moved.

Oh, sorry about the spell! I have all shaman and cleric character I play take it, so it didn't even occur to me that it wasn't from a common source. And the movement, or lack thereof, was totally my error, not yours. I typed it and then forgot to go back to the map and move him. He was totally in the line of fire and that's on me.
Izumi Shinano
Im right in thinking we can't get in the room, correct?
Izumi Shinano
Izumi moves into the room, behind and to the side of the dwarf...
If I can make it and have an action? Full defensive... that should give Poppy an opening still
GM Anthorg - RotR
Botting Poppy
Poppy moves into the room and swings her hammer on the closest goblin.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Despite attacking a very dizzy goblin, Poppy barely misses her swing.
The goblins and the half-elf coordinate an attack. Making a very elaborate think jedi-like jump after dropping his bow, the half-elf passes over the two priests in front of him and lands on their other side, flanking Izumi with the blue goblin. He attacks Izumi with a round house kick, which is part of the movement to land.
Tsuto @Izumi: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Sneak attackDamage: 1d6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (5) = 9
Blue @Izumi: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Green @Izumi: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Orange @Dolgrin: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
The half-elf hits Izumi right where it hurts. The sudden mobility by him proves to be a big surprise for her, and the goblin manages to hit her while she is distracted. Izumi, take 9 damage from the half-elf and 4 from the goblin.
Meanwhile, another goblin flanks Dolgrin with the half-elf and manages to slice his leg. Dolgrin, take 2 damage.
The goblin that attacked Dolgrin faints from his wounds, however.

With his inspiring words still lingering in everyone's ears for a final round, Dart steps forward and takes a stab with his longspear towards the Half-Elf.

Dolgrin Stonecaller
Do I get an aoo, if he jumps over me? Or did his acrobatics check beat my CMD?
Dolgrin turns around, partly astouned by the acrobatics of the half-elf, partly angry for the attack at Izumi. He weighs his options. "This seems to be not working as good as it is against stone." Dolgrin gives a sad glance at his beloved pick then drops it to the floor and draws his Warhammer.
attack half-elf, grazed: 1d20 + 2 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 1 - 1 = 19

I have missed a few things. For one, I forgot about inspire competence. Poppy hits and downs the goblin with that.
Sooo? That 19 is a miss?
