Leothar |
Leothar has Resist Fire 5 from Mythic Endure Elements, so that looks like 20 damage. Now at 85/107.
Leothar breaks free of the grasping tail and attacks with Radiance, beginning with Blue. If his first attack drops that one then he will switch his Smite to Orange and target that one.

"Aye." Dadna said, understanding Leothar's meaning. There was only so much divine power that each of them had each day. These enemies were tough, and it was all too easy to burn through the finite resource. Taking her time, she placed single attack at the foes.
Ian Passeri |
Seeing Leothar wounded Ian starts to get worried about the chief, considering using the limited resources of his power of faith, he hears Leothar tell Dadna to pace herself he decides to continue inspiring them. Keeping the 'ladies gift' raised he waives it in an impressive display.

Leothar brings one salamander down with his first swing and hits the second on as well. Dadna almost misses the salamander but hits it hard enough for it to drop to the ground. Ian encourages his friends again. Enos puts two arrows into the last salamander the second one being a solid hit.

One by one the creatures fell. Dadna allowed herself a small smile of satisfaction, for she saw an opening and took it. once more her weapon lashed out, going over Leothar and into the creature. She doubted that it would be enough to kill it, but it would certainly leave a mark and knock it off balance, so that her comrades could finish the job.

Didn't want to 'not post' but waiting to see how the combat is going before I commit to an action this round. IIS is still active, so there is that :)

I moved Leothar up to the doors, with Ian behind his left shoulder :)
Relieved that the dwarves were able to make quick work of the Salamanders, Ian nodded in agreement with the chief. They didn't have time to fully explore the forge. It would be years before the crusaders could fully explore every nook and cranny of the ancient city. But for now they needed to press on. As Leothar stopped at the double doors to inspect them, Ian moved in closer, hoping the light from his halo would help, inspecting the doors as well.

I realized, Ian may not be able to open the door with his hands full, so just posted a little fluff :)
Leothar |
"Prepare quickly, then we go."
Leothar will (1) cast Protection from Evil and (2) cast Eagle's Splendor and open the door.
So that is 2 rounds.
Eagle's Splendor boosts his saves by 2, and improves his Smite bonuses (when he uses Mythic Smite).

Dadna nodded, as she took position behind Leothar.

Didn't know that stairs were difficult terrain, and thought I was in. Double move then.
Did some more digging. Stairs are not difficult terrain unless they are steep. Just about every time I see combat mentioned on stair it says they are difficult terrain. So in this case not difficult terrain and it takes 25' for you to get there. Only one square was stairs.
Dadna Cloudbreaker |
Nice, thanks for checking. So with a reach weapon she can attack?

DM Trawets |
Ian raises his sword to inspire the group. Dadna moves into the room and stops on the stairs and unleashes her fury at the demon and destroys it. Leother then swiftly moves into the room and attacks another demon hitting it but it stands.
Enos studies the demons and knows you need holy or cold iron weapons to fully harm them and their weapons can pass on diseases but he doesn't have enough time to fully figure out what they are doing. He senses the ceremony has some sort of conjuration or summoning magics going on.
Ardriel thinks for a moment and knows for certain that shattering the crystal would end the ceremony but the consequences of that would take more study. It could just shatter or it could explode.
Leothar it doesn't matter but you don't have the +2 from Ian as it only reaches 30'

@GM, I did not apply Inspiring Sword on my previous attack as I am aware of the 30' range. What I am not sure of is if it is a constant emanation from Ian for 2 rounds, or if it matters where he was when he used it. Not applying it here.

"It's an invisible wall of pure force! As long as she's behind it, we can't touch her. Of course, she also can't affect us with anything, but you can guarantee she'd dismiss it as soon as we were gone."
After a second of strategizing, Ardriel said, "Yarnala, get the scroll of dimension door out of my pack."
The silvanshee familiar retrieved the scroll, then handed it Ardriel. Striding towards Dadna, Ardriel unfurled the scroll and cast a spell, hand on Dadna's shoulder, to try and teleport himself and her behind the wall of force.
