Are we about to hear Indiana Manuun and the Temple of Doom? Although tactically I agree with you, I like to have a clear run-away route for when the assault goes wrong... If we assaulted through the spider's minaret and fled afterwards past a former Gargoyle layer (there is a breach in the walls there), it would lead pursuit away from the second hidden entrance and the escaped slaves in area A.

Manuun has definitely been running out of locations before. I believe there might even been a stone ball once. And I don't think there were ever troglodytes.

After everyone climbing down, and Ohrmizd pulling up the rope and jumping down himself with the featherfall ring all sneak over to the tower where the gargoyles suposedly live. A lopsided minaret, its stacked layers sloppy and precarious, casts a long shadow across the courtyard. A weatherworn coil of stairs scrambles about its perimeter, ascending a hundred feet or so. The stairs slope slightly toward the outer edge and no rails exist to prevent an unsteady climber from tumbling off onto the shards of rubble below.

As you approach the structure two stone statues, that sat on the stairs, topple over and fall down. They come to life spread their wings and attack.

Also I was not sure if we are still within the first 50 minute window, buut since this was likely our last fight for the day I assume I have recast Heroism before the climbing (I have been using the bonus all the time.)

I'm pretty sure we need to revise a bit -
1) Thanks to Manuun's oil of magic weapon, that penetrates DR and does a full 32, not 22, also
2)Monsters get damage penetration against their own type of DR if it's magic or epic .

Universal Monster Rules:
Some monsters are vulnerable to magic weapons. Any weapon with at least a +1 magical enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls overcomes the damage reduction of these monsters. Such creatures’ natural weapons (but not their attacks with weapons) are treated as magic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

A few very powerful monsters are vulnerable only to epic weapons—that is, magic weapons with at least a +6 enhancement bonus. Such creatures’ natural weapons are also treated as epic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

"Let me help Man!" seeing the sylph pressed, although hopefully unscathed thanks to the blistering invective demoralization, Ohrmizd leaves the blinded gargoyle for now and focuses on surrounding the active one to strike with his scimitar activating bane for the fist time "Sarenrae punish this gargoyle for attacking good Manuun!" the mithral shield shines in response as if the goddess was hearing the desperate plea of his unorthodox faithful and Ohrmizd's blade becomes even more lethal.

Ignore all this if Ohrmizd is right and the gargoyle is shaken and therefore just misses.

When the Gargoyle drops on him with all his attacks Manuun is no longer able to avoid all the strikes. When the claw of the gargoyle lands on his cheek, he once more turns into thin air, leaving the claw to strike nothing. But just as he reverts to his normal form, the teeth of the gargoyle strike his torso and leave a solid mark.
