Drat, I was hoping they didn't have combat reflexes after she took a kick at Frantino.

He wants to go after Corstela and can circle around to flank with Nasir, who has also moved after we batter the Waif from both sides.

As Frantino moves to flank Corstela, the rest of the porch becomes visible. Standing outside the window, crouching over a dying philosopher, is an invisible, demonic-visaged man. Horns and red skin. Clawed hands, both of which are grasping the woman's flaccid head. The man seems to grin in ecstasy and his muscled arms become bigger and thicker. A long tongue flickers out and licks his lips. The dying philosopher shudders and wastes away slightly. Her body the falls to the porch, utterly bereft of life.

The man then climbs into the window and vanishes from Frantino's sight.

And then the air tears open right in front of her! A kaleidoscope of colors sprays out of the crack and sucks Corstela into it. The tear in reality closes with a silent snap.

And she's gone.

Nasir and Frantino look around, but don't see her. Ayita, however, DOES. Lying on her back, the Shoanti warrior looks up and sees Corstela in a second-floor window of the manor, looking down on the porch and grass. She points upwards at her, alerting her team.

It is difficult, but Ayita swears she sees TWO Corstelas. And then <pop> a third! And <pop> a fourth! 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

The four Corstelas lean out the window and yell, "Mathilde! Frangela! Take out Gregory C. Hatfield! He's healing them of their injuries."

Mathilde, looking down at the unconscious Doc Hatfield, says, "Already. Done."

The enraged philosopher points menacingly at Frantino. "Your turn next, Kaddren. F%*! what Alden says. We'll question your CORPSE!"
