Game links are all posted in the Gameplay tab. Discord channels are all posted, please start locating your players to your tables. If you have problems finding any let me know.

This is a very fast-paced special which will depend on each of you to push your tables towards successes. If you need to Bot a player then please do so as we will be on a timer.

Let's make this a great event and get people's minds off of the real world for a bit!

Is there any easy way to flatten a slide so that everything stays in place? I would like everything currently there to be a single layer to make it less error prone when people are moving avatars around on it.

You could take a screenshot of the arranged slide, then delete everything else and paste the screenshot in its place.

That would be my best bet. or you could select all of the text, markers, tokens and map together and right click group them so they are all one.

If you have an image of the single layer that you want, you can right click any blank area on the slide, select change background, choose image, then select your image. You may need to adjust the size of your image if you want it to cover the slide perfectly - typically to 960 x 540 pixels.

Here's a quick trick for turning a slide into a a background. Set up the slide exactly how you want it to look for the background, then File -> Download -> JPEG Image (.jpg, current slide). It will give you an image of the slide you just created. You just need to upload that as a background on a new slide.

I haven't tried this with text, so I don't know if it will knock the quality of text down too much or not. If that would happen, you could pick PNG instead as the text should be better quality with an png, but it will be a larger file size which might not be mobile-plan friendly.

Back to preparing for my normal game day and then Outpost III!

Now time for a different question. I know we can't start in character discussions and roleplay until the start date. However to help smooth the transition from the opening activities to the next section, could we reveal the list of scouting missions to decide on one ahead of time? Or does that need to wait for the actual start of part 1?

I'm not sure about the scouting missions.

But I've told my table to go ahead and introduce their characters to each other whenever they're ready and to go ahead with additional RPing with each other if they want. I won't post anything IC until the start date though.

I've also posted up details of the aid token mechanics. I figure it doesn't spoil anything and might be useful for some players to look over sooner rather than later, especially if they haven't previously experience it.

You can RP and discuss. Just no printed text until the 30th.

Since we're only three days out now, I removed my 11-12 table from the main spreadsheet and added myself to the Backup GM list. Unfortunately I can't cover Numbat Apr 8-14 because I'm going to be running VTT games (and helping coordinate US volunteers) for iEyeCon (Aussie convention that's getting moved online) during that same time span, but I'll make sure I'm available for others if at all possible.

Just a heads up. Game start is nearly here but I've had radio silence from a few of my players. It may just be that people are getting their characters together this weekend but here's a status report:

I have players do all manner of check in's whether it be dotting into the Gameplay, just posting in the discussion or via PM. Keep trying AJ Nicholson. I'll send him a message as well. Keep in mind some of these are players new to PbP so likely won't show back up until the day of the 30th.

Just a check - I'm about 10 hours ahead of the US... will you cue us for when we can start dropping content? :p

I finally did this on my slide 9 in order to make all the text part of the image. I did not set the image as the background.

The text is a little less clear but I think that is more than made up for in that now people will not be getting the text as they try to select their icons to move.

I put my earlier version of slide 9 to the end of the slides.

Thanks FireElemental! I'll most likely play with this more in the future. I'm pretty sure there are better ways for me to do this.

I've got a newbie question: Since it looks like my table will possibly be reduced from 5 players to 4, does this scenario contain a 4 player adjustment? I looked through it and I don't see any 4 player notation so just wanted to double check in case I'm missing something obvious.

No 4 player adjustment for the specials. They can be a bit rough for smaller parties.

It does not. So in this case also request all aid tokens you can get to keep your party healed up and going. Remember that they can use an aid token each encounter.

I got asked who some of the people were, so I've added slides with pictures. Nothing fancy, just something to put a picture to the names.

Since I am also putting the preparation rewards on those slides, I would not recommend copying them as is. It would be easy to create slides of your own and copy the images over though.

I've also added some slides with pictures to my master set if anyone is using those.

Though I stole your pic of Iteration-177, GM Bret, as I did not have them in my collection.

Tyranius, is there an easy way of marking whether Aid Tokens have been boosted?

I can add another column for boosted effect.

Does anyone have a list of scenarios that Interration-177 appears in or there is a chance of a noteworthy religious experience?

The ones I remember (other than this special) are:

1-05 First Mandate
1-11 In Pursuit of the Scoured Past

Ones that I could consider a religious experience:
1-08 Sanctuary or Drowned Delights

There's an evil religious experience (cult of the devourer) in Withering World.

Iteration-177 also appears in #1-31 Treading History's Folly.

Iteration is also in #1-39: The Herald's War (where their true identity is revealed to the PCs who play it). If I recall correctly, don't they also play a bit part in #1-29: Honorbound Emissaries?

As for religion beyond Dennis's good thought (Yaraesa vs. Devourer), maybe #2-13: Storm of the End Times (lots of churches there plus cultists of Groetus), and some spiritualism in #1-26: Truth of the Seeker?

Do we have a graphic of the system with where the main fleet is? That would be useful to link for all the tables.

The slide ID looked malformed for me. I did not bother trying to figure out what it should be, instead I just removed that section of the URL

Yea it had a problem with the slide I created as well as the one Aerondor had as well. Strangest thing. No matter if I stuck a link to google in there it just auto looped back to Paizo. We should be good to go with it in the post on the Gameplay for not though.
