I'm in the middle of moving apartments so I'll be MIA until Monday at the earliest.

We're still in the move. We didn't manage to get everything in the truck so we're doing daily back and forths until we have everything. I know this sucks to have to wait so long, but I'll need a bit more time before I can get back to posting.

I hate moving! 20 years in the Marine Corps and moving every ~3 years cemented that. A couple of those moves had us moving boxes that hadn't been unpacked from the previous....

If all goes as planned, I will never move again!

1. Help make breakfast
2. Go to stores
3. Go to Nuwas
4. Come back and learn/cook lunch
5. Cook dinner.

2.5 snack?
3.5 drink some tea?

5.5 but what about second dinner?

Gonna be a busy end of week to weekend until Sunday. I'll be in interviews and helping a colleague tomorrow and then away until Saturday late at night.

I am informing my games that I'll be out of town this week. We may have internet. If so, no worries. If not, I will be at the whims of my cellular network. I don't think there will be an issue.

I was down with COVID for a few days...starting to feel sort of better.

Bad enough. :( Pretty much like the flu for two days. I'm down to tired and coughing now.

Been a rough week and my grandfather's funeral is tomorrow, so I'll post the next update asap. Thanks for understanding.

I'll be away from Friday night to Sunday helping my mother with a camp for children so I won't be active until then.

Heavy storms last night, we've got no power or internet so posting on my phone. Hopefully it will be up and running soon, bot me as needed.

It looks like a tornado crossed the northern part of our county, knocked out power for 15,000 or so. Probably won't get power back till tomorrow. My wife had to check on her mom so I brought the laptop along,

I have a friend going through the same thing. Don't worry about it. Anyways, I just spent 9h at the emergency hospital without getting seen so I'm not in the best place either.

Apologies for the delays, been super sick since Sunday. Even did a 9h hospital emergency room visit, but it's getting better now.

I'm back around... 85%? No clue what happened but my entire throat had gone from sore to super swollen. Trying a variety of home remedies and avoiding certain things to see what the cause was. Still, not a pleasant week so far.

Hmmm, it’s been four days, still no power, went to the mother-in-laws for a couple of hours to do laundry, so will get a post up…

Sorry, I've had some issues keeping up with the forums and life in general...trying a few different browsers and the like.

Gonna be a busy week for me; today to Monday I'll be pretty swamped and then next weekend I'll be away on a short trip. Just as a heads up.

My week ended up being twice as busy as planned including job interviews, game jam, and then this weekend's the trip. Apologies for the long delays, but I should be back and available by Mon/Tues.

No news from Lung, so I'm just gonna push on when I wake up.

I've thought long and hard about it and it's not a decision I'm making lightly, but I think I'm going to need to call an end to FFoH (and my other Paizo Forum games).

Over the past months, I've been super intermittent and the motivation to keep playing Forum games kept diminishing. This is truly not anything to do with my players; the four of you have been absolutely amazing and were really what kept me going this long. If I ever run FFoH in person, I'd be hard pressed to find better players than the four of you.

I've been struggling with Paizo's forums for a bit now and I'd rather make this decision than keep posting at an unreasonable slow pace. I know there's a bit of "sunk cost" to this; we've been playing for just over 2 years, but I don't think I have it in me to get to the end in any reasonable length of time.

I'm more than happy to chat and outline where the adventure was headed if you want some closure, or what my plans were for the adventure's ending. My fiance loves this adventure, so the chances it comes back to the table in some form in the future is relatively likely.

With your permissions, I'd definitely love to include your PCs as characters if I ever do play FFoH in person.

Thank you so much for having been a part of this journey. What started as a March Break turned COVID lockdown adventure really became something I'll cherish.

I'll be around and checking discussion here for a bit, but then I'll make the game inactive after a week or so. You can always reach out to me on Discord as well.

I kind of had a feeling it was coming. Life has been pretty crazy for you. Thanks for the good times with Piella. The point was to have fun, and in that, mission accomplished. I don't need to finish the story...we won. That was already in my head. The fiddly bits aren't important. I hope we added some good content to your world for future play for others if you do indeed come back to it! Feel free to use Piella the NPC in your future games; probably one of the few people capable of stunning a giant kaiju of a crab and marching it out nearly unharmed--and yet so tiny!

I want to echo Piella's sentiments it's been a lot of fun. I enjoyed exploring Taicho's eastern roots, but if you use him as an NPC change his name, it still sounds too much like 'taco' :)

It's been a pleasure playing with you all, Matt thank you for running the game here on the boards and letting me experience your 'Discord' game.

Piella's parents were some of my favorite downtime moments. I'd be loathe to not have them be around in the future.

Thanks for the honest statement. I've really enjoyed the interaction with the characters AND the NPCs. I'd much rather have a game ending than a ghosting.

If you need a furry shaman with a glowing, flying spirit animal, feel free. It'll almost be like keeping him alive.

I have also been seriously affected by deadlines the last few months, and burnout in general. If you want to restart this game, I'll be ready. :)
