Wow, neat analysis of the power of low-light vision. I thought that any light prevented darkvision and operates only in complete darkness--but now I can't find that reference.
I'll try and update soon but this week has been overwhelming. We're on a rotating staff basis and on top of that I have something like 100+ reading evaluations to analyze and compile.
I may be intermittent this week, but hopefully I can stabilize.
I'll be able to have my next post up tomorrow, and I'll make it a point to hit every day this week. Piella, feel free to barrage me in Discord DMs. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel (for this week).
Sorry about the frequent delays these past couple of weeks. Work is a grind but we're nearing the end. That means I'll soon have all the free time in the world, but until then I'm completely drained.
I'll have the map up tomorrow morning. If I see this is going to be a frequent thing, I may take a break for a week or so to get work done. I remain committed to finishing this quest and would say otherwise if it was truly becoming too much.
In the end, this is going to be frequent thing and I'm not able to invest my time enough in anything hobby at the moment. I hate having to take time off but I'd prefer to be able to prep up correctly and not keep forgetting to post here.
What I'll do is post on Sunday, the 23rd with an update. If things are still too busy, I'll take until the 30th at the most.
I know this is far from perfect, but I'd rather be honest, take the break, and come back then post once a week half-heartedly.
I just had them move, call it a... half-surprise round. I find surprise rounds feel really odd when the PCs are on the defensive and it felt better to reward you spotting them rather than have them just not move for a whole turn, which would be even weirder.

Right, I just didn't see the one near Taicho move or attack so I wanted to ask.
Another burst of work this week. Got something like 50 reports to do, so I'll post the battle update on Friday. Thankfully, next week is the last 3 days of school and it's all happy goodbye stuff, so I'll be free as a bird.

I'm very done with the last 18 months, despite the fact that I got family time and fewer commute miles, and time to be a placard waving activist--the mental and physical toll on the, well, world has been quite something, and I'm looking forward to putting that in the rear view mirror, so to speak.
My Heritage. It isn't free, and it's hit or miss, but if it works, it's really cool. Plus, I use some photomanipulation, photo editing to make my results a little better for their algorithm to catch, dependent on the picture.
The weapons and armor are clearly of Yuanzi make and can easily be stored in the cart and brought with you to a town and sold, though they'd require a good cleansing first. Chances are the creatures stole them from Yuanzi citizens snatched up in the dead of night.
Heads up that I'll be flying in a few hours to Switzerland, so I'll see you all tomorrow xD My time zone's gonna be slightly different but it'll work out.
I am just picturing Lung's attack like some cartoony thing if they fail the save. Like you stare at them and then they are bonked on the head and start seeing stars in a fascinated haze with the sounds of cuckoo cuckoo sounding in the distance of the spirit realm.
