Sorry I've been slow, as a west coaster this smoke has been leaving me sluggish. Luckily my air purifier has arrived and the smoke has settled a bit. Hopefully things will clear up soon enough!

Sorry for the additional delays, we were missing 4 staff members today so the free time went out the airlock.

Sorry for these frequent delays. School's just been nuts. We hit our first confirmed COVID case this week and teachers are absent left and right.

I've been having a hard time getting the energy to do pretty much anything so apologies for the 2ish days between posting. Head's just been everywhere else but here.

Yeah.. I'm in the same boat sadly. I'm gearing up towards a big change in careers and it's taking a lot of my time.

True, we are already experiencing this here with our hospitals and among people I know personally.

The problem I'm seeing is that we have used 13/16 days at least and it will take us the remaining to get back to Xin. We have no more time if we don't succeed today. Hopefully, other groups were finding ingredients or we are royally going to lose this challenge.

I think the GM has expanded our timetable to account for the amount of travel we've had to do. We should be safe for now.

Yeah I realized the timetable wouldn't work with the travel and I've been having a lot more fun allowing you the freedom to roam and pick your challenges, instead of the planned A>B>C>D route I had originally intended (having written my notes very much like a typical adventure path).

I know retcons are never the best when it comes to getting a good story together, but I think removing the race aspect of it, and simply saying the Celestials visit for an extended period of time and accept contestants as they are ready will make for a less stressful game.

Hopefully that's a-ok with everyone.

Sorry, been working both on and off the job these days. I hope once I get used to things I'll have more free time, but I can't really promise that'll be the case.

No worries, for some reason I got stuck on Paizo's maintenance page for days. Finally got it working again.

Sorry for the week-long delay, gonna be updating us tonight once I'm home from work. Keep taking it at your own pace, mental and physical health is priority here.

It's okay, i've cleared up a few things, i should have an easier time keeping up. Just had some festivities to take care of as well as Halloween.

I'm not setting any big deadlines, but I'll try and see if we can wrap up the adventure around Spring 2021. I had envisioned it taking about a year at most.

That means I'll be trying my darndest to get in those 1 post a days. I've never finished an adventure all the way to the end before, but I'd sure like to.

I'll probably start another "short" 1-year adventure after that, if any of you want first dibs on it.

For combat, what are your preferences? If a player takes a while, would you rather I wait, do I pass their turn, or do I GM them for that turn?

I'm ok with botting. Life has been weird lately. It's been a bit of feast or famine at work, and the "feast" ate up all my time a few times last week. :)

It's a hell of an investment, but I'm tired of using laptops. Been over 10 years I haven't had a PC.

I am contemplating doing the same for my business, but I just don't want to spend the money right now. Plus, I like using my laptop and chilling on my couch. I'd have to have a really comfy setup to get a desktop right now.
