Sorry, I keep getting sidelined by some real-life stuff. Catching up now.

Oof, alright here we go, just letting everyone know that I'll mostly be offline for the next 24-48h.

I just got back about 4h ago from an overnight stay at the hospital's emergency ward. For those who might be uncomfortable with details, I've spoilered the reasons why I went. Right now I'm feeling mostly fine, still got headaches and pinch of nausea but the rest of the symptoms are gone.

So yesterday after I got off discord around 3 am, I got hit with a combination of numbness in half my body, nausea, headaches, and lack of hand-eye coordination to the point I was unable to use my phone. By the time I got hospital, it had gotten to the point where my speech was garbled and I was having difficulty talking and understanding people. I stayed over night under supervised watch, got sick a few times, and eventually managed to fall asleep and sleep off some of the symptoms. Obviously, the symptoms sound pretty bad, but the doctor's ruled out most major potential issues such as a tumor or stroke. He believes it was a particularly symptomatic migraine (first I've ever had like this) combined with a stomach bug for one hell of an evening.

So I'm fine/will be fine, and if anything pops up again I'm going straight to my private doctor, but I think stepping away from the screen for a few days will help.

Migraines can mimick ministrokes called TIAs. They pass in a short time. Migraine symptoms develop slowly over time to where you are kind of like "What is going on here?" and you suddenly realize you can't function in some areas. A stroke is like BAM! in your face, all of a sudden you can't function at all, and TIAs are like that too.

It explains your nausea, one-sided feelings, and you just have to wait them out. They probably gave you vision/reflex/coordination tests? Asked you to keep a migraine diary to identify things that trigger your migraines?

Yeah pretty much what you said lines up, but they didn't ask me to keep a diary given this was my first.

I'm just letting you know that for the next few days I'm going to be out of town. Afterward, I may have some crazy times to play catch-up with my store.
