I realize I made a mistake in the timeline. 16 days is pretty unfeasible so forget the "time crunch". Instead, different teams will finish at different times until all teams have presented for a more flexible and authentic timeline.

No worries, I'm a bit more flexible these days. There's a few things a bit more important than a PbP at the moment.

Are we as a party more interested in the quest or the roleplay? I'm okay with either. If we have someone more interested in what we are heading toward, we can always fast-forward.
Ditto on that. I work best when characters take lead and say where they're headed to next. You've got your leads in Piaofeng, so I'm ready whenever you are!

I’m typically asleep in the morning and awake all day evening and night until about 7am. I don’t typically sleep more than a few hours. I’m available to post during most of that time. Evenings I usually spend more occupied, but I’m free to post any other time and check frequently throughout the day. I know most don’t have that availability, but I’m down to keep roleplaying
I actually have a lot more free time, which ironically makes me post less (I can finally get to all the stuff I've been putting off!) But I'm perfectly fine to keep rolling forward.
I'm around. My work just stopped, although I'm going to "work" (gain skills and study while home) (and get paid for it--thank you, boss). I'm not 100% available as we are also suddenly thrown into home-schooling some small primates. The world is strange right now.
As an elementary school teacher I'm on hiatus for anywhere of up to 1 week to 1 and 1/2 months or more so I have the free time!
In better news, I want to thank you all for the roleplay up to this point. I know it's a slow start, but I promise we're not far from the first roll play!
A bit of diplomatic relations with some locals and then we're off to our first encounter spot!
I'm okay just roleplaying. I don't need to necessarily be in a module getting levels, but that's just me. I enjoy the conversational roleplay just as much as encounters. I even would have been cool roleplaying out the 4 days journey, but I know not everyone is the same.
While Shiro is not particularly well suited to conversing with the others, I'm perfectly fine with moseying through the adventure. Shiro was originally designed with the time limitation in mind, being polite, objective-focused and driven to succeed. He's somewhat offset by Gou, who acts as a contrasting point to the ninja.
As a player, I'm perfectly happy to take our time and smell the roses, so don't feel like we need to push from objective to objective.
Sorry, crazy week. Wife is still sick. I’m hoping once she gets better I’ll have a bit more free time but my masters program moved entirely online so it’s been a long week keeping up with that and watching my son during the day. I’m hoping my wife will get better in the next few days.
Once I do get a post up, we can just assume that Yun has been dealing with the telltale signs of a hangover on the journey up. But I’ll try and get a post up and interact with the other PC’s as soon as I can

I personally am feeling frustrated, but I'm safe. I've worked in healthcare a long time, as has my mother. It's hard to see people you care about helpless, and worse seeing my mother have to work and care for people with the virus because the masks fit her face. She's high risk because she's over 60, and so I'm not too pleased when I see people acting like this is a joke. I've had to step back from social media because I was just getting livid with people.

I'm fine with pushing forward with the three of us, but we can also look into picking someone else up. I'd be more comfortable with more players. Don't stall the game for it though.

I've thought about it, and I think after this next section of the quest I'm going to DM some other applicants and try and pick up a 4th member. If no one from the original recruitment is down, we'll try and start a new one.

Sounds good. I like our dynamic, but more people can certainly add to the flavor.
I enjoy our group thus far. I enjoy the speed of our posting too. As long as they are up for posting at least once each day, and possibly more, I am pretty flexible with remaining the same or having another player.
Well if we're enjoying our dynamic, I wouldn't want to ruin it. I'll think about it a bit longer then! The three of you are my top priority after all.

Start thinking about your second level progression, since I'll be leveling you up at the end of each chapter, regardless of XP. There'll be a few more combat encounters in the near future (as a friendly GM heads up.)

Still thinking on the Ninja Trick, but got everything else.
Shadow Clone and Vanishing Trick are good for most builds. I'm not sure where you want to go with it, but I also like TWF with Flurry of Stars.
I'm pretty lenient if you want to test things out for a level and retrain later honestly.
