It is only partial concealment if you are adjacent to/within 5 feet of it. So since the demon is more than 5 feet away from the edge it would have total concealment from you, at least form my understanding of the fog cloud spell. It defintiely was intending to remain concealed within the fog.

As soon as the last of you finish boarding the gunship immeadiately launches back into the sky. As it ascends you see several jinsul patrols converging on your position, but none are close enough to stop you as the vessel quickly goes into the atmosphere to rejoin the Perfect Silence. Ekkerah's distractions mean that rather than having more jinusl coming every other round, they were delayed for much longer.
You dock onto the Silence with the starship's drift engine alreayd revving up to jump away from the system. Disembarking, you see Luwazi Elsebo waiting for you with an expression of relief. Thank the gods you got back safe. The nominated Seeker says. She gestures for you to follow her as the four captured Starfinders you saved are ushered towards the medbay. Jadnura follows as well as Luwazi asks. We're jumping out of system before any jinsul ships or fleets might arrive. But was this all worth it? Were you able to find out anything about the jinsul down below?

![]() |

I believe it was well worth the risk for the intel we recovered. Personally I was able to learn a lot about the tech we discovered along the way. I believe the others have also learned a great deal about jinsul culture that could be relevant. Bones will then go into detail with all the specifics he had learned from his investigations.

![]() |

Quirk produces the military insignias they came across, as well as any cultural information he ascertained from his time sneaking through the city.
Just went back and skimmed through this adventure. It really was a pretty cool scenario. One of the weaknesses of playing through this sort of thing over the course of nearly 6 weeks is how much you forget! Quirk will add a few things below.
Also, Quirk recalls several of the murals they came across, including one that had an illustration that resembled an artifact the Starfinder Society had come across before--a "tear". The name Dhurus also came up quite a bit a leader of the militant majority of Jinsul.
Quirk also recalls their ally in this fight, and that there is a sect that does not wish to fight needlessly.

GM Zoomba |

Luwazi and Jadnura listens as you present the artifacts you've recovered and report on what you were able to piece together. Luwazi's face narrows in concern at the revelations about the jinsul's reactions to their own golden artifact.
So, the jinsul received their own artifact on this planet as well. But it was only after this Dhurus herald that they became organized in returning.
Not just returning. Jadnura adds forcefully. The jinsul fleets we've seen are well-run, and the fighters we've come into contact with are whipped up into fervors. When I unsealed the God Shield it looks like our Society inadvertently opened the router for them to return to the Scoured Stars system, but the reports we're getting is that they're not stopping with that. The jinsul are trying to bring back all the other species that ever left that system - forcefully if needed.
Luwazi nods. We've already been trying to contact and form an alliance with one of those other groups that originated from the Scoured Stars - the Kreiholm Freehold. I'll continue to step up our efforts there and reach out to the Izalguun to alert them as well. We still have not been able to locate the remaining four civilizations however...
She sighs and looks towards you. Still, it is a start. And the fact you were able to find and interact with non-hostile jinsul forces is promising. We'll send on the data you recovered to Historia-7 to parse anything that may have been overlooked, but your insights have given us a strong lead on how to proceed. If this Dhurus is the force driving them, then confronting him or discovering more about his nature could prove vital. You did excellent work Starfinders! Now rest: I have a feeling we'll need to call on you again before this is all done, but for now enjoy the little victories.
