"Cuth, just how resistance are we talking? I'd prefer my bastard sword if at all possible."
Very resistant, Cuthberwyn says helpfully. They don't really fear physical damage that isn't from a blunt source.
To the smack-talking slaver, he is less circumspect. For someone whose very lives hang in the balance, you've a lot of sass in you, he says matter-of-factly. You're still breathing through our good graces at this point. I'd recommend that you remember that, and that your companions here remind you in the event it, uh, slips your mind.

Cabaguil ties the men up, or helps others more skilled than he to do so (not sure the mechanic). ”Now you wait here, and wait quietly, and we’ll see about taking you to town, alive and whole, when all this is over.”
As he prepares to leave and press on he glances over his shoulder, ”Who knows? Perhaps we will be beaten, and you’ll be freed by your so-called allies here.” He chuckles, not really believing it. I mean sure, he might go down, but not Raspar. Not the dwarves. No way. They were much too tough for such things to happen.
Still smiling, he readies to head down the hall to see what he can find.

This cave has four natural alcoves containing bunk beds. where the men slept.
YOu will have to refer to the map on slide 2. The route north leads to the large quarry and the route west is the smaller tunnel that leads around the quarry.
| Raspar Soulsage |
Raspar feels the urge to go west.
"We should go west. I bet there are more slavers to kill that way," he says triumphantly, and also resisting the urge to make the bunk beds. It's hard for him to not start tidying up the place.
"We should get moving."

Six nooks have been carved out of the walls of this natural rock chamber. Each is heaped with furs and animal pelts to make a large bed. A tunnel leads out to the east, overlooking the quarry pit. A large fire burns in a pit near this opening.
In this rom dwell four stone giants, stooped over their bunks. The stone giants who live here keep their faces painted with ash and soot to resemble skulls. One of the giant's looks up as you enter. "You here to bring us more food?"

Dori grunts,"We are NOT here to bring you food, giant."
The dwarf straightens up at the thought of being a servant to this lot.
"Stay calm and tell us what you are doing here and who you work for and you might just live through this day."

Cuthberwyn knows a fair bit about stone giants. They are able to hurl rocks at great distances and their greatclub strikes can have the potential of hurling its victims far away, damaging them further. Lingering coposition was a success for 3 rounds
A typical stone giant stands 12 feet in height and weighs about 1,500 pounds.
Raspar runs up to protect Cuthberwyn with his shield. "Well, it is good for you then that we seek death. Jaggaki will allow us to rise once more and be of service."

Dori brings down the ae as he chops small crevices into the stone. A bright light forms in Cuthberwyn's hands as nine missiles break apart and streak across the room into the stone giants chest.
The wounded stone giant pulls back for a big swing as he hurtles the club at Kelvin.

The small dwarf is catapulted into the air as Dori and Raspar cushion most of the blow with their shields. Retributive Strike and Liberating Step absorb 24 of the damage.

Dori tries to slam his shield into the giants foot but misses as the club backswings down to break his arm.

The ally can attempt to break free of effects grabbing, restraining, immobilizing, or paralyzing them. If they can move, the ally can Step as a free action, even if they didn’t need to escape.[/ spoiler]

@Cabaguil- Gotcha. That will turn that attack from a hit to a crit!
Cabaguil tosses a ball of fire into the stone giants face. It sticks like glue into the crevices where it continues to burn like the bowels of hell.
Dakapos seizes the opportunity and shatters the giant's wounded leg as it digs the fire out of it's eyes. Raspar's starknife sinks in deep into the softened stone as he kills the westernmost giant.
