I don't think my longsword will help, but maybe I can pre-occupy it so The Executioner can execute them. Again. Because they .. were once dead and now back to unlife. So....... unlife them again!

@Linzi, the three skeletons are filling the missing wall section so no one can flank until positions change, you can, however, still perform the Aid Another action like you did.

Ekun screams in rage as the skeleton does drop. He envisions them to be the massive trolls that destroyed his life as he chops and chops at them. A small but steady stream begins to flow down the side of one of his cheeks as he takes out a small portion of his frustration.

OK, Pyros do your normal attack (no more +2 bonus from Linzi aid another), then Pyros, Ekun, and Faerin each get AoOs vs him as he flees.

As the skeleton drops his greatsword and turns to flee, Ekun and Pyros are able to cut it down before it takes more than a couple of steps.

Ekun's hard slash is just turned by the other skeleton's tower shield (yes, a 25 misses).

Both make their save, but the damage is still enough to destroy the skeleton in chainmail. All that is left is the skeleton with the tower shield. Currently, Pyros can 5' step to flank with Ekun (who also needs to 5' step). Two other people can reach the skeleton as well to either attack it or to attack AC 10 to give either Ekun or Pyros a +2 to hit. Also, Shayn is in melee range of the skeleton currently, she could touch it with her final chill touch attack and then 5'step out of the way so someone else can fill her spot to attack or aid. Faerin's Earth elemental could also pop up in Shayn's vacated spot.

Pyros is finally able to finish off the last skeleton.

The room revealed by the secret door is a mausoleum. Inside are four sarcophagi that are very ornate. The lids of three of them lie on the floor next to them, apparently you just fought the three occupants. The room itself is fairly decorative; the rotted remains of silk banners line the walls. Inside you find a bronze plaque that says: "In praise of Taldor and the brave warriors of the Fifth Army of Exploration." Below that is a date, "Year 2014, Age of Enthronement."

The greatsword is magical (+1), all of their armor is masterwork. The two longswords are also masterwork. The Tower shield, steel large shield, and the breastplate worn by the Greatsword skeleton are special. If they are cleaned and restored, together they would be worth 12,000 gp to a collector or museum.

Inside the room you also find a chest containing various items, coins, and gems worth a total of 1800 gp. In addition, the fourth sarcophagus contains a skeleton of a dwarf wearing +1 halfplate and a +1/+1 Dwarven Urgosh.

You are at a dead end, but backtracking to the fork where the shrine to Shelyn was, you can head the other way.

There is now a series of meaningless fights with the Mites, but instead I will just do the encounters that are specific to the story (similar to ignoring the meaningless random encounters). Is that good with everyone? I will add the relevant xp anyhow.

As they easily dispatch mites, Pyros tells Linzi anything else he can recall about Sirian Aldori and the beginning of the Aldori Swordpact.

Sorry, took longer than I thought.

As you wander the tunnels beneath, you run into Mites that try to hinder your progress, but since they come at you piecemeal, they aren't much of a threat. Eventually you locate the throne room of the Mite queen. Here, they have prepared to defend the entrance to the sacred chamber. Armed with the information you received from the Kobolds, you have an idea of where this is.

You have a choice, you can go here now, or you can wait until the next day, resting either outside in a camp or the Kobolds can offer you a safe spot to rest as well.

Let me try to wow them with wonder so we can advance upon them. well, we'll only do that if there's a large distance between them and us.

Depending on logistics , She will try to fascinate the mites. Keeping them mesmerized so our front liners can get into tactical position before attacking. Otherwise, I'll prep a color spray to blast a few. No need for Bardic as the Bless is already a morale bonus.

You won't have time for fascinate, besides, Mites are immune to Enchantments. Also, Inspire Courage is a competence bonus, so it stacks with Bless (only the save vs fear and charms is a morale bonus, and Bless doesn't help against saves vs charms).
