Hmmm... Well, since the party consists of two wizards, plus me, I think I will bring a pregen - in this case, probably Amiri (so that we have a front liner).

You're just paying the +50% scribe cost to scribe from the pathfinder society library right? A lot of players arent aware of that and it can save a lot of money instead of buying scrolls etc.

Well that makes since too. I read in the FAQ that spells are always considered available from other area casters for 1/2 the scribe fees listed in the CRB. Never realized that the PFS library would be why the spells were always considered available. I wanted two spells on scrolls to have if needed.

So, I have a lvl 3 Core Rogue who just now tasted freedom from a really really really long lasting outpost II game. If we are going low-tier then I'd happily bring him. That would give us 2 lvl 3's who could supplement with 2 lvl 1 pregens or 1 pregen and a new PC from Zero.

If we stay high tier I'd just stick with Kaya to give us a lvl 3 & 4 wizard plus what I would assume to be 2 lvl 4 pregens.

I can use the wand for you, but I can't afford one yet since this is both my first CORE game and my first CORE character. I'd also love to activate some endure element wands for all of us, but again, I can't possibly purchase it.

This is fast becoming a very expensive endeavor. Farlen will purchase another 5 spell scroll of endure elements. He will ask the druid to take the spell and he will drop color spray to take endure elements as well. We should have 5 days minimum and more coverage if we double spell slots with endure elements.

Hold on Farlen, Khargrom will be purchasing a wand of endure elements with his one 2 prestige point purchase of the scenario. He also already has cold weather gear and a wand of CLW he will hand off to the Druid at the start.

We hopefully may not need the spells though, a lot depends on the briefing and first day to see if we can rough it.

Right, three level three, one level 1. That is squarely between sub-tiers. For season 2, that means playing low tier. And honestly, given none of you are in level for high tier, that is probably a good way to run it.

You might find it a tad easy, but you are core, so it is nice to get breaks sometimes.

Strat: Where does Life of Toil come from as a trait. Unless it is from the guide somewhere, it is unlikely to be CORE legal.

It looks the same as Resilient (+1 to fort) so you may want to swap for that.

I see you have UAS, it is handy to call that out in your attack, as I almost rolled an AOO against you.

I swear I saw it in the core legal traits web enhancement list thing, but I can't seem to find exactly where I saw it from. I know I wasn't looking at a normal list of traits though, so I'm not sure how I came across it because I've never taken it before on any character.

I figured it would be easier to state if I didn't have IUS rather than saying I did since if a character is going to punch something, they probably have it, but either way, you are aware of it now.

The web enhancement traits are the basis of the traits in Ultimate Campaign - which is where Life of Toil comes from.

Only real difference is resilient is a combat trait and life of toil a social one. Unfortunately dirty fighter is also a combat trait.

Playing only using core options is hard, as I've quickly discovered. Druids don't have many core spells and I realized my armor was from ultimate equipment, so I had to downgrade to studded leather. Also realized my plan to by a dragonhide medium armor is flawed because I can't get dragonhide lol.

I think dragonhide appears on some chronicles, so you still have a chance at that.

I’d probably just prefer taking three shots at getting one good roll. If so, Khargrom should sit out since he is negative charisma and I’d still get to rp Amiri’s attempt.

I have just a flat roll without a bonus. I don't think we have anyone with a bonus. Are the odds higher for a good roll that way? Probably.
I don't think you can aid as it is spelled out in the GM's post. Amiri, Stratacast and Farlen will give it a shot.

I like Core, it is refreshingly simple which makes it easy and hard at the same time. Plus, some of those “bad” feats, traits, racials and class abilities get used.

No worries. Chronicles stay up pretty much forever. I guess at some stage google will complain about me having too much stuff there, but they haven't so far.

One of the reasons I like Core is that it is nice and simple and you can have a bit more fun with the RP and less worry about making your character mechanically masterful.
