Brallenera moves and strikes, trying to avoid the first attacks..and failing almost comically
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 6 - 4 = 7
attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

but at least she hits her target

GM Elberion |

The thugs swing for Brallenera as she races past them.
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
damage: 1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 3 + (4) = 11
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
damage: 1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 3 + (5) = 11
The one in red connects powerfully and Brallenera strikes back at him with her axe, drawing blood.
The woman behind the desk takes careful aim and fires with great speed at Brallenera. Her crossbow bolts seem surprisingly powerful.
attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15

attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Crossbow bolts sink deep into the wall behind Brallenera but cannot find a fleshy target.

Victor looks momentarily sick, then vomits forth a great gout of ectoplasm, which forms into the shaky outline of a vast, two-handed hafted weapon with a curved blade, which despite its wavy outline, has an extremely edge.
He then purposefully takes a swing at his closest opponent.
+2 Ghost-Touch Fauchard: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21, for 1d10 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16 damage.

Nanny will cast murderous command (DC 17) on the slaver with the crossbow.

Zadim - Pregen |

Present.

GM Elberion |

Apologies, my son has been ill and work has been hectic. It's definitely still on.

GM Elberion |

Nanny I have moved you so that you have line of sight for the spell.
will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

GM Elberion |

The slaver in red tumbles to the floor as the fauchard strikes his crown.
Meanwhile, Nanny's spell is easily shaken off by the crossbow-woman.
Then the fellow in the jaunty green hat swing the door shut, steps up and swings for our good lady dwarf.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

GM Elberion |

Brallenera takes what should be a painful bruise to her ribs but it barely affects the hardy maiden.

Yes, hope your son is onto a speedy and full recovery.
Foul I say! We cannot leave our dwarven maiden in there alone!

GM Elberion |

Thank you. He’s not dangerously ill, just miserably ill: waking up in the night, wanting to be cwtched all the time...

![]() |

Roderick will attempt to re-open the door.
str?: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Quickly now! Heave! but physical exertion is not his strength, or he is pushing when he should be pulling. :P

GM Elberion |

It's a move action, that's all, but you will have to wait for your turn.

Zadim - Pregen |

Zadim attempts to reopen the door.
Str?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

GM Elberion |

The door swings open and Zadim enters the room.

![]() |

Are we waiting to see reaction in the room? I don’t want to hold up next round if waiting on Xim.

Zadim - Pregen |

I believe Zadim completed all his actions for the round: Move action(open door); second Move action (enter and go adjacent to foe). Map appears up to date

GM Elberion |

Sorry, this is me being daft. I somehow blanked Kyra’s post.

Brallenera is a little reckless in her attacks , and her axe cuts only the air....
Awwww....
She seems ashamed.

Roderick steps into the doorway and lobs a spark bomb at the woman.
”I dare say we have had enough of your antics to say the least! “

1d20 - 6 ⇒ (4) - 6 = -2
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
The woman with the crossbow calls out angrily, "Take 'em down!"
Then she casts a spell...
I would never normally allow this use of the spell, but it is clearly written up in the module.
... and the mosses growing around the floor elongate and reach out to grasp at the party.

Its a bit worse than that - on a failure, yes, you are entangled, but the area *also* counts as difficult terrain, so on a pass movement costs double, and on a failure, it effectively costs quadruple :-/

Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

GM Elberion |

Kermit, that’s the problem! If it was just on the statblock I would have ignored it as slaver ‘flavour’ but it is called out as the character’s second round of combat action... I’m trying to stick closely to the book as this is PFS.

DOH...guess the editor missed that. THAT's a powerful spell to grow grass out of stone :)
