So it didn't happen on screen, but I vaguely recall wanted to have Nik ask Rinika to do it later, so I'll just roll percentile.
Is 51-100 too large a range for a wis 7/8 character to remember to ask a friend for a favor in advance-ish? xD

Vertical is relative, so perhaps you just need a spell to redefine gravity locally... or depending on how they define vertical, maybe you just cast it while laying down.

You can probably get what you're looking for if you find an asteroid like B 612 from the little prince. That or some kind of horrible magical mishap.

I didn’t lay out before battle but I was trying the wake up and immediate take 3 burn tactic this time so my DR is 6 adamantine today but I really don’t have any extra burn to play with today without going below my ideal “only take 3 in a day” plan.

Seems like a better idea to just get to “full power” right away and lose a little versatility, but we’ll see

Whelp, this sucks.

I’ve been playing Baraxx wrong, after looking into some things. Guess it was too good to be true.

Turns out infusion specialist does not help with the burn from composite blast as I had mistakenly thought it did, so Baraxx can’t composite blast without a full round of gathering power if he doesn’t want to take burn. So sad to have his damage cut in half, but it makes sense thinking on it now.

Good news is that he can kinetic whip simple blasts to his hearts content, but with focusing on that a dex/combat reflexes build would have been far more interesting, and without my mistaken double damage he really misses metakinesis and the extra overflow damage quite a bit more from a base kineticist.

Ah well, 5d6 + 5 + con still isn’t bad anyway.

TLDR; Baraxx has the sads because his damage just got cut in half :(

Suzuka would likely have been hired but that's not the only reason she'd necessarily be here. She could also be here if there's something wrong with the tower's Feng Shui. Or if her tea told her to.


Jorian is a wanderer looking for redemption by doing good things, so the rumor that this tower would help that cause in any way would be enough to draw him and he’d be happy to work with any (mostly) goodly folks
