Ando has a lot of spells to cast in preparation given he has barely used any spell slots yet.

He moves between the groups placing blessings on various people to prepare them for the battleto come.

Casting the following spells. Shield of Faith (+3) on himself, Eadie and Rudzik (11 minutes), communal resist energy (fire) on everyone (10 minutes on everyone, 40 minutes on me, Resist 30), air walk on himself and Eadie (110 minutes). He will also activate a wand of heightened awareness and longstrider (he cannot fail the check, even in Hell).

I use a scroll of thaumaturgic circle against Devils on myself, CL 9th save for purposes of CL and dispel checks, against which it is CL 10th.

She then projects her own ego outward in the form of a mighty arcane shield, and then speaks syllables of power to the cosmos in a booming voice, opening a pyramidal planar rift, rimmed in crackling energy, from which comes...one of the following, in order of preference, provided the alignment of the first two wouldn't be an obstacle in the current situation (and any of which are Augmented in any case): a lillend, an animate dream, or an invisible stalker.


You are ushered into the arena. One one side is a river, which seems to be a famous river in these parts. Planes DC 20

Your opposition soon arrives, though the fight does not start yet. Some ceremonies are to be observed, and you give a greeting and present yourselves before the overseer, which is Cerenthiel, an Erinyes. You can see your foes are also Erinyes, and another creature. Which I'm sure Fendel will have no difficulty identifying.

Yeah I normally have them beforehand and put it in a block initiative in my game description but I hadn't done that here because I got asked to run this last minute. Plus Easter weekend.

Also Lucija, you asked and I had the answer I just forgot to type it. Summoning CG not a good idea, summoning NE not a big deal. Keep in mind planar traits regarding casting spells with types of good or chaotic. You want to avoid "attention" and summoning good or chaotic outsiders will draw attention. Neutral evil? Meh, they look, close enough to their desired alignment.

Enraged Warrior (Ex) A munagola has trained her mind and body to wreak as much destruction as possible, and as she causes bloodshed, she flies into a frenzy, hitting harder with each subsequent attack. So, quick question about the 'Holy" weapon property. It is not as obvious as summoning up a good creature is it? Just need to know if I am adding that damage.

Also, by the rules, can the Devil/erinyes use their summon ability to bring in more devils? I am imagining an endless fight if they can.

Cheers, all the rolls are in my post above. It takes 18 damage and is blind for 1 round with a DC22 save to halve the damage and negate the blindness. Looking at my rolls it seems I managed three 20's in a row for SR.

The Executioner Devil is dropped like a bad habit, torn into so many pieces by arrows, blades, and a nip of teeth that would have tripped it had that mattered at this point.

A creature can suppress its SR I believe, but that's a conscious action. I did note the nightmare, I'm tracking on a notepad (computer style) for HP, etc. Brown had taken the shots but blue triggered the first AoO and took damage, but has since been dispatched.

Okay, on second look, I swore I rolled a will save vs that 3 wis damage, but I'm no longer seeing it. Hmm. I'm getting senile in my old age.

Lucija's unholy menace and Eadie's strike take down another of the Erinyes, leaving only one left to fight against your mighty onslaught... and it is also blind.
