I'm willing to stick around if things are slowed down a bit.
I'm capable of posting once per day, with the potential of multiple posts if I'm not working that day. Backposts are good, but I've been invisible during very important scenes that are completely over. Ulrich has missed out on forging very important relationships that now leave him in an awkward situation where he is a secondary character. Should he go through with what I had planned, there will be no foreshadowing to these actions, and will come off as jarring. I understand that this is not a single player environment, but we're all trying to make our character developments meaningful. I wouldn't have a problem with this if I had created a withdrawn and reserved character.
Is there a way we can make this work? I'm willing to switch characters if need be.
Is it worth giving us cliff notes of what you would like to have done? Then anything involving NPC's can simply be assumed. If its to do with PC's I find PMs work well. Itzi and I are almost invariably PM-ing in the background just to build our characters out - it doesnt have to make plot difference but we both know about it and it therefore helps us roleplay to extra depth?
As Alessandra said, backposts and PMs are good options for filling in the missing scenes to develop your character where you want him to be. I'm not sure what else to do to fix the past, but I can at least give everybody more time to contribute to scenes going forward.
For what it's worth I'd much prefer you to stick around, but if you take no enjoyment out of the game and instead only feel frustration, then I more than understand.
Gabby, the phantom is an outsider, not undead. Positive energy will heal it but negative will harm it. You can switch to inflict light wounds instead of cure light wounds if you want to.

I'll stick around. I'll think about what to do with Ulrich moving forward...

Why does the scalpel cause the frog's heart to beat?
The undergrads (and there's always at least one) who drop their scalpel and "scream like a little girl" (I LOATHE that phrase) - are invariably(INVARIABLY) male: female undergrads have been bleeding once a month for years. If you want to squick out a female biology undergrad, you really need to work at it.
Female biology postgrads/PhDs/postdocs are basically unsquickable... I mean, I suppose you could do it, in theory, just like - in theory - I could be called up to play rugby for Wales, if every able-bodied man in the Principality dropped dead (along with a lot of the women).

So the current is coming from you, then passing through the scalpel, and then triggering the frog heart?

Not quite - it's that the heart (everyone's heart) is regulated by the heart itself, not the brain*. After the frog is dead, the heart muscle cells take a while to die, and they still have their electric potential, meaning that the nerve cells within the heart are still capable of 'firing' - the touch of conductive metal can be enough to 'spark' it back into the appearance of life. Any 'current' coming from the person holding the scalpel is negligible.
It would work on humans (and other animals) as well, it's just that for some reason frog (and, weirdly, turtle) hearts take longer to lose the electric potential - by the time they get to the lab bench, most animal hearts would have lost that ability. Plus, if a biology undergrad is dissecting a human in the lab, something has gone seriously wrong somewhere (human cadavers are in amazingly short supply).
(For anyone knowledgeable who's reading this, I apologise for the bits I got wrong - it's been a while since I studied anatomy!)
EDIT: *More accurately: the brain can send signals telling the heart to beat faster/slower, but the basic heartbeat is too important to entrust to an organ that's located so far away and easily distracted by oohh, shiny!

Oops, forgot to put the angel on the map. It is just east of Alessandra. I will add it tomorrow morning. I will also bot Elly then if she hasn't posted by then.

I figured as much. It's not a problem for me personally, I'm well aware of the spells I chose. I knew going in that not having evocation (and conjuration to a lesser extent) was going to be difficult.
I was wondering if the undead were going to invade the boneyard, or if the Whispering Way found a way into the boneyard to raise the dead.

Already learnt. Maybe I should prepare it twice, and then learn something good against constructs and use that. I don't have evocation, so shatter isn't in the books anytime soon.
I should mention that the Will save vs sleep is DC15. I doubt they have SR, but I never know with fey. Caster level in such case would be +6

...hm. For some reason I was sure that Ulrich is Varisian, like Ellie; but having checked his background again I can't see where I got that impression from.
Which kind of screws up her outburst. Oh well. Edit incoming

He's of Varisian ethnicity, but never lived in Varisia.
Infernal Healing grants Fast Healing 1 for one minute. In other words you get 10HP back over the course of 1 min. Slower than CLW but higher cure rate on average - also more fitting for a vampire!
