Oracle 4
BAB +1
HP +5
Will +1
+3 2nd level spell/day.
+1 2nd level spell known. (Boneshaker) Unless anyone has any better ideas? The only other ones that seemed any use were Bull's Strength and Silence...
Mystery Spell (Dust of Twilight), Inflict Moderate Wounds (oracle bonus)
Skills: TBC.
Feat: Extra Revelation to get Primal Companion: You gain the service of a faithful animal of the night. You can select from a bear, boar, crocodile, shark, tiger, or wolf. This animal functions as a druid’s animal companion, using your oracle level as your effective druid level.
(I forgot to apply the archetype I intended last time - luckily I haven't used the revelation it costs yet so it shouldn't matter too much! There will be a little skill tweakage etc but no other changes.)
I gain Bonded Spirit which lets me choose from the shaman spirits every day as long as they are not incompatible with my mystery and ethos. Therefore O Mighty GM - are there any spirits which I may not take - perhaps Mammoth, Waves and Wood? I can make a case for most of the others but those three would be a stretch I feel. (Being able to take Life and heal my friends is a big draw here so it would be a shame if I can't have that...)

LEVEL FOUR TO FIVE
HP +8
BAB +1
Skills: Stealth, Perception, Acrobatics, Survival, Knowledge Local, Disable Device, Sense Motive, Knowledge Geography, Craft Traps
Second ’Studied Target’ target, bonus increased to +2
Feat: Power Attack (-2 to hit, +4 to damage)
Nothing too exciting here other than PA giving Elká the occasional damage bump. How I loathe that feat for being an absolute necessity on any sort of strength-based build.
Eldarel Japhol |
Lore Warden 5
+8 HP
+1 BAB
Weapon Training 1 (flails. Duh.)
Skills: Knowledge (arcana, dungeoneering, local, nobility, religion, planes)
Just need a feat - ideas welcome. Is Weapon Specialisation really a bad idea? Ellie's thing is DPR after all, so all bonuses help.

Fast Learner is a human only feat that lets you pick two FCB benefits. So, you can pick up a skill point or a +1 to your CMD against two combat maneuvers of your choice, times five. Defiant Luck lets you reroll a nat 1 on a save once a day or force an enemy to reroll a crit confirm against you. Inexplicable Luck is the follow-up feat and this lets you either apply a +8 to any d20 roll before you make it or a +4 after you made the roll. Once a day, of course.
Then there's the glutton of usual suspects. Improved Initiative. Toughness. Greater Fortitude. Weapon Spec.

I never imagined that I would be able to use ... 'A moose once bit my sister...' :) :)
Wi nøt trei a høliday in Irrisen this yër? See the løveli lakes - And mäni wøndërful furry animals...
...sorry. I know the theme here is supposed to be 'Survival Horror' - but if the author writes in a bunch of zombie moose then I'm not sure what they were expecting.
Eldarel Japhol |
*holds up bandaged and callused hand*
Excuse me - who just spent 5 hours putting the thing together..?
On a slightly more serious point - I'm against hanging onto the zombie. Even ignoring diplomatic/Alignment niceties, they're permanently Staggered - so if we want it to be part of the group we're hobbling ourselves to half speed. And it kind of feels like we're running against the clock.
Eldarel Japhol |
Riiight. For the record, saying "No, wait, I think that tab goes in that slot? No, hang on, I'm looking at it upside down..." does NOT constitute "reading the instructions". Sheesh.
FWIW, I see Gabbi's hatred of undead as being entirely consistent with her character and state of being. She didn't choose an undead sire, after all. There's no hypocrisy.
Claiming "I built the table," on the other hand... *mutter mutter mutter*
Gabriella Filosovici |
I supervised - it's the same thing. And don't even bring up which tab goes in which slot. No tabs we're involved. ;P
To be clear, I don't have an issue with Ulrich having an undead minion. He's going to hear it from the prickly inquisitor every chance she gets, though. Drama's fun. :)
Dr. Ulrich Kurbanov |
I don't plan to keep undead around, but this is a difficult decision for Ulrich. I think it's important that he's conflicted, since he's supposed to be the 'grey necromancer'.
Alessandra Filosovici |
Listen girls, you're both pretty and you made a lovely table end. Next time, once you've got the furniture I actually want everything will be perfect. Now kiss and make up. ;)
I missed a bit this evening... Allie isnt keen in the idea but she won't actually stop Ulrich doing it. But it might get channelled to death later! :P
Alessandra Filosovici |
Terana is the frontliner, Cathy is 1.5 liner :D Let Terana take the hits - it's what she's there for. Cathy is meant to keep her taking hits! ;)
Like Allie is trying to do for Ellie! :*
EDIT - responding to Gabbi.
I've always thought the whole 'there's two kinds of channeling' is silly. How can I flood you with positive energy once to no effect and then do exactly the same thing next turn and have it hurt you? The playtest for PF2 had it effect everyone in the blast without intention and I think that made lot's more sense!
In this case Allie may not have channelled if Gabbi stayed in blast range, so its a good thing that it doesn't work the sensible way! :D

I mean, we're a party of glass cannons so, of course, we'll run into a string of crits and hits that will wreck us at some point. Using a shield, using combat expertise, Shield of Faith, not charging - anything that would've added a single point of AC would've made the difference there :\
Eldarel Japhol |
I get Combat Expertise for free next level - seriously thinking of using it. That plus Dodge plus Shield of Swings gets me a reasonable-ish AC.
Couple potions of Shield of Faith would come in handy too...

I'm afraid someone will need to sacrifice a goat or two so that the dice go our way, because if they don't, whelp ...
