And just so it's clear from the start, Thran will be lvl 4 by the time this scenario starts so will be playing up. But there's only one table of Core listed (so not that much choice on where to play) for this scenario and I'd like to finish it along side Alaric and Tere as we played the previous parts together.

I think with this party it is better for Kavor Doan (Ftr1/Wiz5) to be in "Wizard Mode". That means his armor off, his floating Transmuter bonus applied to Dex, and his spell selection not having to worry about ASF.

His last scenario he was in "Fighter Mode" which he prefers, but I think having the utility spells available is important. Between the barbarian and the two animal companions, melee damage should be taken care of (with Kavor Doan providing Haste).

Hello everyone.

We're about 1 week away. Please double check your characters to make sure they are up to date.

On slide 2, please arrange yourselves in marching order. There is one listing for 2-per row and another for single line. The top of the page is the front of the line.

This special uses Aid Tokens and allows us to pass benefits between tables. If we get one we shouldn't hold onto it for more than 48 hours- some other table may need the benefits more than us. Either use it, or boost it so another table can benefit.

You can see the handout on Slide 13, or you can read what's in this spoiler.

Aid Token:
Allied Offensive:
A Pathfinder agent strikes a creature at the same time as the PC, increasing the damage dealt by one attack by 2d8 points. In addition, after the attack, anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking it until the beginning of the attacker’s next turn.
To Boost: Succeed at an attack roll against an AC equal to 20.
Boosted Effect: +1d8 points of damage.

Burst of Healing:
A Pathfinder agent heals all of the PCs of 3d6 points of damage.
To Boost: Expend one use of channel positive energy or cast one spell with the healing descriptor with a spell level greater than or equal to your 2. A PC must cast this spell, not simply activate a wand or scroll. Boosted Effect: +2d6 points of damage healed.

Timely Inspiration:
A Pathfinder agent provides the effects of a bard’s inspire courage bardic performance +2 for 3 rounds.
To Boost: Expend 3 rounds of bardic performance or similar ability.
Boosted Effect: Increase the competence bonus by 1.

Provide Knowledge (Must Be boosted):
Gain the benefits of a Knowledge skill check or Spellcraft skill check used to identify a magical item; the type and difficulty (Easy, Average or Hard) depend on the table granting the benefit.
To Boost: Succeed at a Knowledge check of your choice, the result of the check (Easy 16, Average 20 or Hard 24) should be noted on the Aid Token.

Provide Spellcasting (Must Be Boosted):
Gain the benefits of a beneficial spell cast by an ally as listed on the Aid Token.
To Boost: Cast one of the following spells and note your PC’s name and caster level on the Aid Token: lesser restoration, neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease. Only these spells may be granted. Expending resources that produce the effects of these spells, such as a paladin’s mercy class feature, may also grant these benefits.

Is it ok for Alaric to have cast Greater Magic Fang on Shredder? I spaced out stating I was going to, but as soon as we would enter the more dangerous part of the woods, he would have. Lasts 5 hours.

I never noticed Greater Magic Fang lasts hours per level. That's way better than the original.

But yes, hour long buffs are fine to cast preemptively.

Just wondering..how are we handling that we've met these guys before?

I remember I needed to shout and intimidate one of them..and I think make a joke at another one with perform.

I can't clearly remember all of it, but I'm sure in character Thran would know how he (and the rest of the team) handled this last time.

This is a good, strange question. There's no official ruling if this is repeats of one adventure, or you're doing some weird time warp and seeing the same journey repeatedly. As long as you can justify it.

You got 2 successes for convincing all 3 spirits. Sorry I typed 1 in the gameplay thread- I didn't remember the bonus for multiple spirits.

By the way, when it comes to these route splits, I go by the rule of 2. Once two party members agree on a path the entire party goes that way.
