Hey there - this is where we'll begin mustering. I don't have any really atypical GMing rules or the like (though you can always pop over to my GM alias to read through them if you like). The one thing I'll point out though is that this is a timed multi-table special. That means that I will bot or delay you after 24 hours, and might do it earlier if:
You're the last one up,
I'm about to go to sleep or otherwise be unavailable for long stretch of hours,
and at least 12 hours have passed.
Please provide:
Your name (as you want it on the chronicle)
Your character's name
Your PFS #
Your Faction
Your Day Job
And go ahead and tell me a little bit about what your character does (this is a good place to point out any build-weirdness, typical uses of immediate actions, if you're slow progression etc.)
Let's have some fun!

Your name (as you want it on the chronicle): Agent Eclipse
Your character's name: Malvic Trist
Your PFS #: 54329-3
Your Faction: Dark Archive
Your Day Job: Craft (Book): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Malvic is fairly confident in his abilities like many elves but his temper is a bit quicker. In his search to look for spells and artifacts to help kill Aboleths he found his black blade which chides him constantly causing him distraction or more anger.
He is built as a debuffer with Frostbite and tripping with his whip. He typically will move in with the group using Spell Combat and Spellstrike. When out or low on spells he will trip and intimidate enemies.

GM Cwethan |

Fun build - do you have anything that allows you to make AoOs with your whip yet?

![]() |

Sadly not yet. The BAB +5 restriction is going to keep that away for quite awhile.

Your name (as you want it on the chronicle): Vlaovich88
Your character's name: Nigel Flit
Your PFS #: 263825-01
Your Faction: The Exchange
Your Day Job: Profession Merchant: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Nigel is a summoner who tends to use his summon monster SLA rather than an eidolon. Typically at this level it is eagles or an elemental depending on the fight then stands back with acid splash and some crowd control spells.
His eidolon, Christina, is a serpentine female who HATES fighting. She loves a good puzzle and has one of the most keen eyes you will of met. She is built to be more of a problem solver rather than worth anything in a fight.
I think that covers Nigel. He has done all parts of this adventure so far.

Your name (as you want it on the chronicle): Ebon Fist
Your character's name: Kahwen
Your PFS #: 143948-9
Your Faction: Grand Lodge
Your Day Job: Profession (Sailor): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Kahwen has both the Swordmaster and Scout Archetypes. The former lets him take on certain stances (just 1 at the moment) that imitate fighting styles. Currently, he only knows Crane Stance, which functions just like Crane Style but takes a full round to enact.
The latter lets him apply his sneak attack damage any time he hits with a charge.
He has the Fast Getaway and Resiliency Rogue Talents which let him withdraw when he hits with a sneak attack (if he hasn't already moved) and gives him Temporary Hit Points when he goes down to 0 once per day (which will almost always happen.)
He also has Debilitating Strike like all rogues his level, but I almost always forget it.
He's played the other 3 Solstice Scars and is going to be immensely excited to see some old friends, (everyone who's signed up so far.)
Should we dot and delete in gameplay or wait?

![]() |

Another adventure with Kahwen! You are definitely the player I have played the most games with haha Nice to have you board again.

![]() |

Malvic is excited to see Kahwen again. And hopefully stop him from taking too much of a beating.

... Wow this thread has been open all this time! Hello.
Your name (as you want it on the chronicle): Sedoriku
Your character's name: Angela Isafira
Your PFS #: 108507-04
Your Faction: Dark Archives
Your Day Job: Profession (Secretary): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Angela is currently in a scenario that is on the last encounter and (assuming things don't go down the drain) she will be level 3. Nigel and Kahwen might remember but she's very good at giving helpful advice where needed with aid another and a +4. She will be picking up the Effortless Aid talent (and another via a feat probably, though that is TBD) making her aids take only a move allowing attacks and aid anothers in the same turn.
She is also, like any investigator, a skill monster.

I'm hoping either a bruiser or a healer signs up. This is a really agile line up but I don't want to depend on downing everything in a single round before it can dish out damage to us.

![]() |

Greetings! Did someone ask for a healer/bruiser?

Grand Lodge
No Day Job
Mace and Tankard TWF Warpriest. Usually using an attack to Dirty Trick and blind our enemies which most of our party seems to benefit from greatly. Have Combat Reflexes and Step Up, so I like to be right in the middle of things. Preferably enlarged if you can offer that.
I've played with Kahwen and Nigel, nice to see y'all again.

![]() |

Hot dang, if I get that Dirty Trick off, Kahwen is gonna wail on some bad guys.
Yeah...there's someone doing it in my current game and there have been several times where it's been "now you can't see and now you're dead."
And everyone will be happy to know Kahwen has not been dropped to or below 0 hp even once this adventure.

GM Cwethan |

Yeah, between Shabah and Sangkip there's a lot of familiar faces at this table for me too :-)

GM Cwethan |

Please, just because Sangkip was knocked down to 5 hp, got healed basically to full, then got knocked down to 1 hp, and got poisoned, doesn't mean he went down! :-p

Name (as for Chronicle): Wydroe
Character Name: Haska O'Wydroe
PFS#: 165069-11
faction: Grand Lodge
day job craft alchemy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Haska is a straight up (no archetype) alchemist. He has a wand of cure light wounds that got him invited to play in Solstice Scar part B almost directly after part A. He, sadly for the boon sake, sat out part C.
I recognize Kahwen, Angela, and Nigel. Great to see you all again. I look forward to playing with the new faces. Originally I thought maybe I had played this with Kahwen, Nigel, and Angela but I remember sneaking on to a boat but don't remember that in Solstice Scar.
Anyway, glad to be here.

![]() |

Friend Haska!
If it was sneaking onto a boat, I'll bet we were in Bloodcove.
I'm glad that Kahwen will be doing this last version of Solstice Scar with old friends.

![]() |

Do we have time for purchases?
Haska needs to get:
MWK Rapier (325 gp)
Cloak of resistance +1 (1000 gp)
+1 enchantment on MWK Chain shirt (1000 gp)
oil of magic Weapon (50 gp)

Ahh for some reason I was under the impression that Outpost was starting later this week, like Thursday or something! I was going to actually sit down and make up a list of alchemical items that I wanted to try making with Angela but I guess that can wait until next scenario, but the big thing is she is going to use some GP and Prestige to buy an Inherited Discerning Wayfinder, add a +1 to her Mwk Longspear and buy the ingredients for 3 Alchemist fires. That's 8 prestige and 250 gp for the wayfinder, 2000 gp for the +1 and 20 for the Fire. 8 prestige and 2270 gp spent in total.
Can she make rolls for making up the fires or would there be no time before the scenario starts?

![]() |

Yeah, they made retrocon a bit too close to Outpost for my taste. I didn't do any shopping just because that takes too much time.

AID TOKEN #5
Passing Aid Token to: GM Cwethan
Current Boosts: Timely Inspiration (Hortensia Gallonica )

GM Cwethan |

You can use the Aid Token for any of the effects listed here!
As soon as you use it or boost it we get to pass it to some other lucky table, so don't hold onto it for too long!

GM Cwethan |

If you guys aren't feeling that you'll need the Aid Token any time soon, you should probably just boost it and pass it along.
I promise, if you guys are in a bad spot and ask for one, I'll send up the flag with the other tables :-)

okay skill checks help right?
knowledge nature: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

Apologies about that short absence. The mountains have left me with a bit of a weak signal and time.

Hey everyone,
You might have noticed I haven’t posted in a long while (okay it’s only been two weeks at most but in PBP time that can still be a while.) I didn’t have an amazing and earth shattering emergency or reason for not posting, which would have made this easier to post. Life just got… busy and stressful.
I knew some stress would be coming and that I might be a bit busy, but things well exceeded what I thought. At first I was just busy (and to be honest, a little lazy) and didn’t post for a day or two, but things starting snowballing and I soon realized I hadn’t posted for days and needed to post something longer and more explanatory than a quick apology, but I didn’t have the time, motivation, or emotional fortitude.
One thing I sometimes do when stressed is become avoidant of some things, especially things that are emotionally charged. Last week was one of the most emotionally draining weeks I have had in a long time. Monday started with seeing a friend of four years off because she has stage four cancer and had to go back to the UK. I had to say goodbye to students and teachers I have taught/worked with for years (which can happen any year but was harder than usual this year.) Having to say goodbye to people is something I handle terribly and I was often going home drained and not wanting to do anything or just wanting to sleep. Additionally, the longer I went without posting here the guiltier I felt about it, which made me want to push this off further.
I shouldn’t have stopped posting here and I am truly sorry if I have made anyone wait, slowed down games at all, or have caused you any worry. I am physically okay, and will be emotionally okay, and work has slowed down some (next week might pick up a little but nowhere near what it was.)
If I can I’d love to keep playing Anglea I REALLY wanted to play through all of the solstice scars with the same character, but it has been a long time and I understand if it would be better that I drop from the game.
Sorry if you have/had to read this a few times, I’m posting it in all of the games I am in currently.

![]() |

You have nothing to apologize for. This is meant to be a fun hobby and, if it adds to stress that you're already feeling the correct response is to remove it as a stressor.
I'm glad things have calmed down for you and that you're feeling better. We all have things that get under our skins so it would be hypocritical to say anything negative about what gets under yours.
We've kept a good pace (and even finished the last section early.) I definitely want you to keep playing!

GM Cwethan |

You've already heard from me via PM, but just so everyone else knows:
Happy to have you back!

UGH, sorry. I expected to have service or at least wi-fi in the onsen town I went to. I was wrong apparently. Posting now.
