Spells:
1st - 6/6, 2nd - 4/4
Active effects:

Awesome, I'll figure out my level up soon-ish. Level 2 spells, here I come!

EDIT: Marcus, are we at a level where you'd be comfortable being enlarged?

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

I'm actually not usually a fan of being enlarged (like to keep my AC up), but since I'm really the only front liner, it may well be a good idea here.

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

Male Human Wizard 1 | HP 20/20 | AC 12 16, T 12, FF 10 14 | Fort +3, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Perception +3 (+7 to spot statue-like creatures) | Hand of the Apprentice 8/8|
Spells:
1st - 6/6, 2nd - 4/4
Active effects:

I also figured that since you were using a whip, the extra reach might not be bad for you. Are you planning on taking Combat Reflexes?

I'll use my Favored Class Bonus to add a different 1st-level spell to my spellbook in place of enlarge person for now. I can always pick it up later, either via scroll or another spellbook.

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

Yeah, combat reflexes is definitely in the plan. I suppose I could have grabbed it now, but went for some AC instead.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

Combat ref is best timed with improved whip mastery when you threaten.

Erond will be prepping align weapon and restoration until the group finds a need for other spells.

Male Human Wizard 1 | HP 20/20 | AC 12 16, T 12, FF 10 14 | Fort +3, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Perception +3 (+7 to spot statue-like creatures) | Hand of the Apprentice 8/8|
Spells:
1st - 6/6, 2nd - 4/4
Active effects:

Okay. Let me know when you grab Combat Reflexes, and I'll grab enlarge person at the same level. I figure with Combat Reflexes, Stand Still, and threatening a 20-foot area with reach, you could really lock down the enemies while those of us hiding behind you cast spells.

Level Up

HP: 1/2+1 = 4 + 2 Con = 6
Favored Class Bonus: +1 Spell added to spellbook (1 level lower than can currently be cast)
Fort +1, Ref +1

Skills: 2 + 4 Int + 1 Human = 7
Diplomacy +1
Knowledge (arcana) +1
Knowledge (geography) +1
Knowledge (nature) +1
Knowledge (local) +1
Linguistics +1 (Language: Undercommon)
Spellcraft +1

Background Skills: 2
Knowledge (history) +1
Profession (scribe) +1

Feat: Greater Spell Focus (Conjuration)

New spells per day
2nd-level: 4 (2 Specialization, 1 Class, 1 Int)

Spells added to Spellbook:
1st-level: ant haul
2nd-level: glitterdust, spider climb

Can I just say that choosing a level 2 transmutation spell is a really hard choice? There are a lot of good options.

Human Half-elf Investigator 3|4/4 inspiration|18/18 HP|FORT +1 WILL +5 REF +7|AC 18, FF 14, T 14|Temp: 60 ft speed 30/30,

For the level I'm taking Expanded Inspiration as an investigator Talent, Feat I'm taking rapid reload, do I get health back from leveling?

Map Pieces of Knowledge

I have a transmuter in giant slayer with a full BAB familiar, so I can say it is hard every level especially when every polymorph spell on the table.

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

As the GM said, I really need improved whip mastery first, and that comes at 5th, so at 6th I'll pick it up. (4th gets weapon specialization).

Half-Elf Arcanist 2/Sorcerer 1 | HP 15/22 | AC 17/T 13/FF 14 | CMD 12 | F +4/R +5/W +5 | Init +3 Per +10, low-light vision | buffs: heightened awareness 10m; mage armor 2h; resistance 1m; resist acid 5 | conditions: none

How exciting! I'll update later today.

Grand Lodge

Hey all I'm 2 weeks out from my PhD thesis defence. My posting will be irregular for a little bit. I will be back in full force after that with more time than ever. Thank you all for your patience.

Human Half-elf Investigator 3|4/4 inspiration|18/18 HP|FORT +1 WILL +5 REF +7|AC 18, FF 14, T 14|Temp: 60 ft speed 30/30,

Ok, anybody interesting in playing a side one shot for a bit to keep the group engaged? My posting rate drops pretty significantly during the ends of the semesters, so I can kind of understand, though obviously not to the same extent.

Grand Lodge

If someone runs a short senario for you characters at an appropriate level I would be happy to call it a side mission and let you keep the gear you gain for the AP.

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

Yeah, I can remember the time before my defense. It's pretty damned hectic. Keep at it, you'll get it done.

Not sure I have anything to run at this level except maybe some PFS stuff.

Grand Lodge

There are several mod a pfs senario would makes sense as they are pathfinder missions.

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

I'm leaving for a ski weekend and will be unlikely to post until Sunday. Bot me as needed.

Human Half-elf Investigator 3|4/4 inspiration|18/18 HP|FORT +1 WILL +5 REF +7|AC 18, FF 14, T 14|Temp: 60 ft speed 30/30,

Thought I'd throw in a post real quick and say that I will be in Wisconsin Dells from this Sunday to Wednesday, so I'm not sure how frequent my posting will be

When should we be expecting said big post? I will probably get a post up in response tonight

Map Pieces of Knowledge

I will try to get it up tonight or tomorrow. My grandmother just went to the hospital so it's a little extra crazy here.

Not a problem.

I will be on vacation from tomorrow until Sunday. I will likely not have time for posting. Bot me as needed.

Ok have a good vacation.

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

Thanks. Had fun. Need rest now.

Away for the weekend I will post Sunday night happy Easter all.

How is it I always end up with the crappiest initiative? I know it's just how the dice are rolling, but seriously, it's crazy.

Human Half-elf Investigator 3|4/4 inspiration|18/18 HP|FORT +1 WILL +5 REF +7|AC 18, FF 14, T 14|Temp: 60 ft speed 30/30,

I feel you. I play in a reign of winter game here, and my sorcerer rarely rolls above a ten.

Dark Archive

AC:17 T:13 F:14 | HP24/24 | CMD:16 | F:+4 R:+4 W:+6 | Init:+5 | Perc: +8

Sorry about that. I just cut and paste in the same order. I have games on here that are all 15+ and others that are all 5-. I can try to switch up the order next time.

Male Human Wizard 1 | HP 20/20 | AC 12 16, T 12, FF 10 14 | Fort +3, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Perception +3 (+7 to spot statue-like creatures) | Hand of the Apprentice 8/8|
Spells:
1st - 6/6, 2nd - 4/4
Active effects:

Don't worry about it. I usually do the same. I'm not complaining, just commenting on how amazing it is the RNG keeps giving me low numbers.

I'm in a Giantslayer game on here where my bloodrager rolls below 10 at least 60% of the time. It's especially annoying in combat.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

Ya, I have a player in real life that will roll 10 crits a session either all 20s or all 1s. As a PFS gm, he either gets rolled over or TPKs.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

Hey all. We are down to a really low reply rate. I'm having to post multiple reminders per major gm post. Part of this is my fault there were some slowdowns because of my schedule.

I need to know what I need from you all to get this game moving and get you back intrested.

Thanks

Male Human Wizard 1 | HP 20/20 | AC 12 16, T 12, FF 10 14 | Fort +3, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Perception +3 (+7 to spot statue-like creatures) | Hand of the Apprentice 8/8|
Spells:
1st - 6/6, 2nd - 4/4
Active effects:

I think I need to get my focus back in the game. I haven't been as focused lately on a couple games. That's on me, though.

For the combat, I'm just waiting for my turn so I can glitterdust them.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

I think Elendar has left the game. I may recruit for his position should he not replay to my Dm.

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

Still interested, I've just been a bit busy of late.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

Thanks for the quick replies. I have no problem with a pace that ebbs and flows it's just good to know what is going on. Real life comes first.

I'll try to get a post up tonight, it's been packed week after packed weekend for a few weeks, and will be until memorial day, but then I should be able to post more.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

Sounds good!

Grand Lodge

I will have apost for you all tomorrow morning.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

I'm going to recruit a replacment character any class requests?

Human Half-elf Investigator 3|4/4 inspiration|18/18 HP|FORT +1 WILL +5 REF +7|AC 18, FF 14, T 14|Temp: 60 ft speed 30/30,

If we had a cleric or some other healer we could get rid of Erond, if not I think a ranger would be an interesting addition to the party.

Male Human Wizard 1 | HP 20/20 | AC 12 16, T 12, FF 10 14 | Fort +3, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Perception +3 (+7 to spot statue-like creatures) | Hand of the Apprentice 8/8|
Spells:
1st - 6/6, 2nd - 4/4
Active effects:

A healer type-class would allow you to retire Erond so you don't have to keep playing him, if you want to do that. Otherwise, a switch hitting martial type might be a good addition. If there's any wilderness parts in the AP, the ranger especially might be useful, seeing as Von-Dai's useless in the wilderness.

If we're replacing Elendar, would anyone object to my calling dibs on the shard with the ioun stone that gives +2 Int?

HP 28/28 AC 25, T 14, FF 22, CMD 19, Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6, Init +2, Percep +6

Think I favor a healer as well. Best to have someone to keep us standing especially since we're heavy in squishies.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

This will be to replace you MIA wizard. So you are currently down one squishy. But I could recruit up to 5 replacing the wizard and the cleric.

So it looks like a healer and a flexible martial character. I will recruit the martial then a possible replacement for the cleric.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

I will be traveling for 5 days. I will still try to post daily but I may not be able to repost the initiative tracker so just keep an extra eye out.

Female Human Rogue

Hi all,

Grandlounge has kindly invited me to join your game.

I will be playing Sevrus Despica a human rogue.

It is my first time playing as a character on the forums so I hope I don't make too many mistakes.

Human Half-elf Investigator 3|4/4 inspiration|18/18 HP|FORT +1 WILL +5 REF +7|AC 18, FF 14, T 14|Temp: 60 ft speed 30/30,

I apologise for my absence, finals week was hell and it was immediately followed by driving halfway across the country to visit family. I'll try to get a post up daily, but no promises until the 23rd. Now that we have a rogue, would it be possible for me to retire Darjiah after we finish the chapter and play a ranger. That way we'd have less overlap, and from a character standpoint her priority would be to serve the town and the people.

Map Pieces of Knowledge

It's not a problem. This applies to all players. If there are things that come up and you know about them ahead of time tell me and we can work out botting. If everyone has some bot instructions on their character sheet that would be helpful.

You can retire the character if you like. Despite being a hybrid class I don't find much overlap between rogues and investigators. Study, mutagen, alchemy etc all make them wildly different resulting in them solving problems in very different ways. They only really overlap on traps. That said I won't stop you from changing character at the end of the book.
