I also figured that since you were using a whip, the extra reach might not be bad for you. Are you planning on taking Combat Reflexes?

I'll use my Favored Class Bonus to add a different 1st-level spell to my spellbook in place of enlarge person for now. I can always pick it up later, either via scroll or another spellbook.

Okay. Let me know when you grab Combat Reflexes, and I'll grab enlarge person at the same level. I figure with Combat Reflexes, Stand Still, and threatening a 20-foot area with reach, you could really lock down the enemies while those of us hiding behind you cast spells.

I have a transmuter in giant slayer with a full BAB familiar, so I can say it is hard every level especially when every polymorph spell on the table.

Ok, anybody interesting in playing a side one shot for a bit to keep the group engaged? My posting rate drops pretty significantly during the ends of the semesters, so I can kind of understand, though obviously not to the same extent.

Don't worry about it. I usually do the same. I'm not complaining, just commenting on how amazing it is the RNG keeps giving me low numbers.

I'm in a Giantslayer game on here where my bloodrager rolls below 10 at least 60% of the time. It's especially annoying in combat.

If we had a cleric or some other healer we could get rid of Erond, if not I think a ranger would be an interesting addition to the party.

A healer type-class would allow you to retire Erond so you don't have to keep playing him, if you want to do that. Otherwise, a switch hitting martial type might be a good addition. If there's any wilderness parts in the AP, the ranger especially might be useful, seeing as Von-Dai's useless in the wilderness.

If we're replacing Elendar, would anyone object to my calling dibs on the shard with the ioun stone that gives +2 Int?

I apologise for my absence, finals week was hell and it was immediately followed by driving halfway across the country to visit family. I'll try to get a post up daily, but no promises until the 23rd. Now that we have a rogue, would it be possible for me to retire Darjiah after we finish the chapter and play a ranger. That way we'd have less overlap, and from a character standpoint her priority would be to serve the town and the people.

It's not a problem. This applies to all players. If there are things that come up and you know about them ahead of time tell me and we can work out botting. If everyone has some bot instructions on their character sheet that would be helpful.

You can retire the character if you like. Despite being a hybrid class I don't find much overlap between rogues and investigators. Study, mutagen, alchemy etc all make them wildly different resulting in them solving problems in very different ways. They only really overlap on traps. That said I won't stop you from changing character at the end of the book.
