Saeron Kasari |
A rigid smile on her face, Saeron applauds at all the appropriate junctures of the post-race proceedings, but her heart isn't in it.
She tags along with the rest of the crew, helping to wrap up the mission before they head back to the Lorespire Complex.
Baròleg Konstantu |
As the team takes a moment to enjoy the victory and gather up their gear, Baròleg thanks them "I truly expected this to be an errand run. Thank you all for both stepping up to the challenges and for doings so with such comradery. We should all be proud of what was accomplished here."
Seriously, nice round everyone! Fun RP and excellent GMing. Anytime you run Valen, I'll take a seat at the table.
GM Valen |
"I would have settled for a tie."[b] grins a satisfied Radaszam, following the party's return to his office. [b]"But, I'll gladly take the win. Somehow Laboni got the idea to apologize, which won her quite a bit of good will with the Salvage Union. It seems now that she'll be a regular competitor on Ratrod’s show." The vesk appears both exasperated and vaguely amused at the result.
As you depart the vesk's office, you each receive a summons from Guidance. Back at the Lorespire Complex, the intelligence once again presents itself in a holographic form—this time taking on the appearance of a wizened male korasha lashunta—to congratulate you all.
"Confirmation has been received from each of the four faction heads, which provided you with assignments." Guidance notes. "You are each to commended for your successful completion of the tasks provided. In the aftermath of the Scoured Stars incident, the Society is in need of skilled agents more than ever. The manner in which you have completed your Commencement duties is demonstrative of your potential as new Starfinder field agents. Undoubtedly, you will each be called upon in the future to once again employ your talents in benefit of the Society."
FIN
Congrats and well done, Starfinders! Thanks for a fun run. Unless someone needs theirs a little earlier, I plan get your Chronicles to you early next week. Have a great weekend!
Saeron Kasari |
Jeen walks over to Saeron
"Could I pull you aside for a second? he asks
Distracted, Saeron does not notice Jeen approach. "Uh. Sure," she replies, startled by the unexpected question.
"Is everything okay? You're not injured, are you?" she asks as she accompanies Jeen to the place he indicates.
Jeen Scott |
"no no, I'm fine. I just want to talk" he says "are you ok? you seem a little, i don't know, Down?"
Saeron Kasari |
Saeron blinks, not realising she was so transparent, She opens her mouth to say something, then stops, shaking her head. Sighing, she says, "I'm okay, Jeen. Just disappointed I wasn't able to help our team very much. Thanks for your concern." She gives him a small smile of appreciation.
Jeen Scott |
He gives a small ha
and smiles
"ima tell you something. I was in the same spot you where a long time ago." he says "my family runs a ship repair shop, and I'm the youngest of 4." he shakes his head at the memory "they where older, bigger, and more experienced than I was. all i wanted to do was help, but it seemed that I could do nothing at all. then I had a break through." he says as a big grin grows on his face
"one day, we had a customer who had some internal problems that no one could get to... then everyone looked at me. I was the only one who could fit in the little hole where the problem was." he shakes his head
"you just need to find what your good at." he says as a pause ensues
"tell you what, I think we worked ok together. the next job ether of us come up with, we will contact each other and see witch one to do, ok?
I think it will give both of us an opportunity.
Saeron Kasari |
Saeron tilts her head as she listens to Jeen's tale.
Her brows lift in surprise. What you're good at? That's it!
"Thank you, Jeen. You've been a big help." She smiles at him and even almost manages to ignore the nagging voices inside. Of course, it seems you can't get anything right...
"That would be nice. Be sure to look me up."
Jeen Scott |
Jeen nods with a smile
"sure thing"
