He then focuses his icy gaze on the thug, "Regrets it is. You can make the first smart choice in your life and surrender or you can spend the next five years rotting in cell like the trash you are."

M'linda takes the combat in stride, feeling in her element, further attuning to the photon energy of the stars. "You were warned," she says to the ganger in front of her.

Realizing the thugs may not have positively identified Ceren, Baròleg attempts to throw them off. He places a hand on Ceren's shoulder, "Stand behind me Char, it seems these muggers have made a poor decision." Try to Bluff the thugs, they have the wrong person. Bluff:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
The mechanic's shot goes wide. The attack from the drone (presumably hovering at least 20 feet above the ground in the park) also misses.

One of the gangers (orange) makes cover from behind some of the trees that dot the park and fires at the android. The other
(red) stands his ground and also targets the android.
A volley of energy blasts strike the android sending painful surges through him.
The third ganger (purple) makes repeated attempts to bludgeon M'linda in an apparent effort to get to Ceren.

Even despite the range to his target and the ganger hiding within the foliage of the park, the half-elf manages a grazing shot.
His mechanical counterpart is unable to manage such a feat.
The injured ganger (orange) contemplates returning fire on the half-elf, but determines the shot is likely too difficult to make. "How did that interloper do it?" he mutters aloud. He decides to make the easier shot. He steps out of cover and fires his pistol at the android.

Burning
You are on fire. As long as you have this condition, at the start of your turn each round before you take any actions (or attempt the Reflex saving throw described below), you take the listed amount of damage as fire damage (or 1d6 fire damage, if no amount is listed in the effect that causes burning). Fire damage from multiple sources that inflict the burning condition is cumulative.
At the end of each round you are burning, you can attempt a Reflex saving throw to remove this condition. The DC of this saving throw is equal to 10 + the amount of fire damage you took this round from the burning condition. If you succeed at this saving throw, you lose the burning condition. You can attempt a new saving throw each round you have this condition, and you receive a +2 bonus for each previous saving throw you’ve attempted in consecutive rounds.
You can also automatically end this condition by jumping into enough water to douse yourself. If you don’t have enough water on hand, you can spend a full action to roll on the ground or otherwise smother the fire to attempt a new saving throw with a +4 bonus (plus any bonuses from previously failed consecutive attempts) to end the condition.
One of the shots nearly brings the android to the ground.
EDIT: It looks like I miscounted the damage and URDOA is still up, having a single hit point remaining.
The third ganger (purple) continues his efforts to bring the elven Starfinder to the ground.

A strike to the side, followed by a blow to the head drops the elven woman to the ground. Through his bruised face, the thug warns, "Give us the woman or end up like your friend here."
Baròleg's shot brings down the nearest thug (purple); the potentially lethal baton rolls from the man's hand. The lashunta knows that the pulsecaster pistols being used by the other thugs inflict nonlethal damage.

You had me really confused there as to where they had both taken damage to bring them below 0 - I was scrolling back and forth desperately seeking and thinking I'd failed in my duty as a healer!
Seeing M'linda fall from the ganger's blow, Saeron dashes forward to crouch at her side, taking her hand in her own. "Stay with us," she tells her elven friend.
Shutting her eyes, she redirects a fragment of her own lifeforce into the injured woman, stabilizing her.
Not sure if Red made the reflex save last round. Just in case: Corrode, Acid damage:1d4 ⇒ 2
Just to verify, I have 0/9 Stamina and 1/11 HP left, correct.
URDOA takes a guarded step forward and bellows.."Foolish humans! I will not die! I cannot die! I will kill you both just like your friend if you do not leave now!"

Saeron opens her eyes, giving a faint smile of relief that M'linda is safe for now. The smile is quickly wiped from her face as URDOA now also falls to the gangers and Baròleg comes under fire.
Fighting down panic, she extends her hands - her left toward M'linda, her right URDOA - and gently shuts her eyes once more. She redirects her body's own energies toward her fallen companions and when she opens her eyes, perspiration beads her brow and her face is paler.

URDOA wakes up and shakes his head. He stands, collecting his Longsword as he does and glares at the remaining Thugs..."I told you I cannot die. I gave you your chance, now it's time to end you all..."
Seeing that Saeron has tended to M'linda, Baròleg redoubles his efforts to target the remaining Orange thug. Again, he provides tactical support to the team. Move Action, Get'em: Orange Thug
He raises his sidearm, "We've found our stride. Your colleagues have fallen, there's no sense in continuing outnumbered. Surrender, spare yourself the pain." Baròleg fires at the thug as he says pain, emphasizing the thug's predicament.

M'linda opens her eyes to see Saeron hovering over her, pain lances through the wounds that are not entirely healed, reminding her of her mortality. "Thank you," she says as she gets to her feet, summoning her sword back to her hand. "I guess I really need to work on my defense." She begins the process, again, of attunement to the photons of the stars, then focuses her stance on defense.
No Action: Attune to Photon Mode.
Move Action: stand and draw weapon.
Standard Action: Total Defense (+4 AC)
The last ganger standing seems determined to make a name for himself. He drops his pistol, then runs toward the android as he pulls out a baton, then swings it hard.
But his injuries, slow him down and the android readily avoids the blow.

COMBAT OVER
With the gangers defeated, you are free to collect Ceren.
"Well done, Starfinders." the elderly woman says with a smile. "I was a bit concerned for a moment, but it seems that you have things well in hand. No doubt, your work falsifying my death should throw off future investigations into my whereabouts."
After providing Ceren with the information pertaining to her new identity, the wizened hacker departs to find Jubair and go into hiding.
Moments later, you receive a message on your comm links from Historia-7. "I have received word of your success." the android states flatly. "Ceren feels comfortable enough in her new identity to risk a return to public life. Indeed, she claims this is the most alive she has felt in ages and has offered to assist the Dataphiles if her skills are ever required."
As you travel onward, a rudimentary courier robot greets you. It presents you with a box and plays a recorded message from Historia-7, "The enclosed contains a token of thanks from the Dataphiles as well as an old—albeit out-of-place—acquisition of Ceren’s that Jubair found while cleaning out the family house. These items are entrusted into your care for the remainder of your Commencement."
If you open the box:
You find within a datajack, 200 credits, and a frostbite-class zero rifle.
"Perhaps we should try for something a little less... intense... while we catch our breath." Saeron suggests, still looking pale, despite not having been attacked herself. "Maybe a nice shuttle to the Armada to see the Wayfinders is in order?"
If the opportunity presents for an uninterrupted 10 minutes, Saeron will further tend to M'linda, using Healing Touch (restore up to 10 HP).
If we take 10 minutes, I'll use a RP to get back the 3 SP I lost.
Baròleg picks up one of the Pulsecaster pistols, and an extra battery from a dead thug. "These may be useful. It's regrettable that we had to kill these men." How many shots does each battery have left? After giving the weapon a quick inspection, "Agreed Saeron, something a little less aggressive would be nice."
I'm all for taking 10 minutes for a refresher. I've got 7 SP I need to recover.
M'linda nods in agreement. "Perhaps the Wayfinders will have us preparing a nice relaxing book report." She grins wryly at her joke, while grimacing in pain. "This life certainly won't be boring, that's for sure."
Spending the RP then. The pistols only deal non-lethal, weapons that can do both have the STUN quality.
After the team stretches out and tends its wounds, Baròleg looks around, "Let's send for transportation, and see what the next faction holds in store. Wayfinders was the consensus?"
