Torrak Farcrusher |

Torrak spits on the floor in disgust. "Wretched indeed. Disturbing too," he adds to Tseghet's judgement while looking at the jar of eyes. Even the mercenary camp never got this bad. They'd hang us from our toes if it got even half as dirty.
Once the magical and useful contents of the room have been accounted for, he waits until after Merritt looks the area over before heading through the western door.

GM XaveTheNerd |

Something within the bone scroll case by the bed pings as magical.
Where to now?

![]() |

Knowledge (arcana), Take 10: 10 + 6 = 16
"There is conjuration magic here!" Tseghet announces, pointing at the scroll case. He walks over and opens the case to investigate. "Judging from the shape of this container, it is most likely a scroll of some kind."

GM XaveTheNerd |

Oddly enough, there isn't a scroll on the inside, but a strange circular, green totem with an Arcane Mark on it. The sigil says "6".
What now?

Torrak Farcrusher |

"This yur first dungeon or somethin'?" Torrak asks the group when they seem to freeze in place after finding the scroll. Maybe time has stopped and I'm the only one left... Shaking the wild thoughts from his head, the Dwarf goes up to the western door and kicks it in. "BRING ON THE DANCING GOBLINS!" he shouts, swinging his chain around in anticipation for blood.

![]() |

Merritt quickly steps forward to try to stop Torrak before the dwarf bashes in the door. "Whoa, no need for that, not yet!" He checks it out for traps before giving him the blessing to head through. "Let's not announce to the goblins where we are quite so loudly, okay?"
Perception, heightened awareness: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 6 + 2 = 20

Zelphar Xyroris |

Still have company over but I told her I need to make time in my day to keep up on my games, so I promise not to disappear.
Zelphar moves cautiously over closer to his fellow Pathfinders near the door, waiting to see if there are any traps, or if not, what's behind it.

![]() |

Tseghet pockets the mysterious totem. ”Inheritor willing, we shall uncover the mystery behind this,” he proclaims before joining the rest of the party by the western door.

GM XaveTheNerd |

Torrak opens the door violently, and three pairs of beady goblin eyes stare back before shouting gibberish.

Inspire Courage +1
GM, did you mean to have us act in Perception order rather than Initiative order?

GM XaveTheNerd |

Perception order? OOPS. This battle's a joke anyways. Wondered why the numbers seemed off
The goblins each draw their bow, move to the lower part of the room one-by-one and shoot at Torrak.

Torrak, don't forget your bonuses from Inspire Courage!
Spying the goblins clumped up so nicely, Tseghet picks his way through the rubble to Merritt and lays his hand on the tiefling. "May the spirit of the Inheritor's heroism guide your hand!" he cries, and a flash of magic surrounds Merritt. "Now go! Smite those who would destroy the innocent!"
Maintain performance, move, and cast guidance on Merritt. Hopefully, we can end this encounter quickly.

Torrak, don't forget your bonuses from Inspire Courage!
D'oh! My real results are 18 to hit and 9 damage. Thanks Tseghet!

Merritt moves into the doorway and practically giggles with glee when he sees how they've arranged themselves. He grabs a bomb and tosses it gently at the goblin in the middle.

GM XaveTheNerd |

The green goblin (heh) drops from Torrak's blow alone.
Since torrak his first in initiative order, it looks like that bomb doesn't have a good target anymore. Let me know where you'd like to redirect it Merritt.

GM XaveTheNerd |

Merritt launches his crossbow bolt out at the red goblin, but it's just barely able to jump out of the way and not take the hit. Zelphar attempts to launch an acid splash and it doesn't connect.
The blue goblin drops his bow and draws his shortsword, taking a stab at Torrak

EDIT: Tseghet, I moved you 15ft forward. Assuming you just cast guidance on me, so you had the one move action left.

Tseghet taps Torrak as he passes. ”Inheritor Guide your hand!” he cries, then stops speaking to cough as he follows the dwarf.
On mobile, can’t move token.

GM XaveTheNerd |

Merritt's crossbow misses the creature, Torrak and Tseghet prepare do deliver the (hopefully) final blow, and Zelphar splashes the creature with a tiny drop of acid, causing a small welt to form on its hand.
The goblin, in a last ditch effort, will drop his bow, draw his shortsword and take a swing at Torrak.

As Tseghet recovers from his strike on the goblin, Torrak is already mid swing. With a mighty overhand chop, he savagely brings the steel ball down and through the goblin's skull. ![]() |

Merritt lines the goblin up in his crossbow sights only to watch Tseghet and Torrak team up to end the pitiful creatures life in a gruesome combination of blade and ball.
Will post an action if necessary, but I'm pretty sure it's not necessary.

GM XaveTheNerd |

Tesghet and Torrak do indeed crush the creature beyond recognition.
The goblins do not have anything useful on their persons.
OUT OF INITIATIVE.
Finally able to observe the room, you notice this room is full to bursting with a motley collection of cots and other furniture cobbled from scraps of wood and cloth. The stench of rotting food is overpowering.
What's next?

![]() |

Merritt holds his nose at the stench, and casually fingers one of his bombs as he looks at the disarray. "Burn it with fire?" he half-jests before pocketing the bomb and moving back to the northern section of the Spire. Standing between the two doors that they haven't gone through, he double-checks the northern door for traps before stepping aside to indicate that Torrak can open it.
Perception, heightened awareness: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 6 + 2 = 25

Torrak Farcrusher |

If Torrak gets the all clear signal, he kicks in the northern most door. "WHO IS NEXT?!" he roars, his chains jangling wildly with the abrupt movement.

GM XaveTheNerd |

Merritt, the door isn't trapped. But....it is locked.
Torrak strength check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Torrak bursts the door open anyways, as if it wasn't even locked.
This room appears to have be an armory, but all of the equipment in here seems either too small, too broken, too..umm...gross, or too goblin-craftmsmanship-ey. There are 6 functional small dog slicers and 6 functional small horse choppers, but that's it among the wreckage.
No goblins. Sad day.
What's next?

![]() |

"Well, just the one set of doors left. What do you want to be that's the way down?" Merritt approaches the doors and gives them a good look.
Perception, heightened awareness: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 = 28
"This would definitely be the time to take a rest, if we want to do that." He looks from one of his companions to the other, trying to gage their interest.

![]() |

"I would have sworn there were stairs up on the other side," Tseghet comments as he uses the wand on Torrak. "We know there can only be so much of the structure above us, while below could be much more expansive. Good tactics would suggest clearing out any threats to our flanks before proceeding further."
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Torrak Farcrusher |

"Let's check this last room. If there're any stairs or what not, we can go for a rest. Otherwise we clear it and rest anyways. We've had plenty of goblins to pop, might as well save some fighting for another day of fun!" Torrak cheers, clearly content with his current state in life.

Lol, thanks Tseghet for keeping tabs on me. I forgot Torrak was injured XD tbh that's probably in character, but that's besides the point. Weapon is in reach mode for the record.
