"We could send in something to take the blast of whatever. It could be something as simple as a summoned creature- no, not you Whiper you big baby." "However, i can send Whisper in incorporially to scout the area out. But this could trigger an attack without triggering the trap making things worse".

Ikit and Davneiros you think you might have done something, but you really aren't certain at all

![]() |

if you have something that will give it to you, let me know that you are using it that way I can keep track

![]() |

Looking dubiously at the fumbling attempt.
"You might want to try to diable that trap again Ikit."
trap disabling is supposed to be checked by the GM in secret

![]() |

Trap disabling, depending on the GM can be misleading words, misleading tones, etc, its like stealth, you roll a total of 14, you THINK you are stealthy, but you might not ACTUALLY be stealthy, here you THINK you disabled it, but you don't ACTUALLY know, and I believe if you fail the DC by 10 you set it off, so right now 2 people have attempted, and nothing has been set off.....so you are in that grey area

"Yes, Master."
Tiny's AC with Mage Armor is: 26/12/24. He has Evasion and esist:(10): fire/cold/electric/acid/sonic. He also had Magical Flight(perfect).
Tried to move him to the door, but he got stuck under the Trap Icon, so I put him adjacent.

Tiny only took 10/20 Acid damage due to his resistance.

the doors slide to the side, kinda like you expect in the Star Trek universe with a little hissing sound as you enter this room This chamber is a mess of shattered boxes and other detritus, and the lights flicker and crackle. A few intact-looking objects lie near the eastern wall, including a book-sized sheet of glittering crystal.
you find a few items in the room that kinda seem like they were gathered together in possibly what might have been a pack, or someone holding them

"Interesting," states Ikit as he looks over the items. The ratfolk then takes some time to examine each of the items. He has an engineering check of 28 if he takes 10.

Enora - Iconic character |

Enora also steps forward.
"These are truly fascinating items! Are they magical? Doesn't look like magic. Hmmm ... "
Enora casts detect magic but also tries to understand the what the items do.
Take 10 Spellcraft 25 and kn engineering aid for Ikit with +4 on his 28 due to 'helpful' trait.

None of them detect as magic
though as Ikit fiddles around with the crystal this causes the crystal sheet to shimmer with swirls of color. The image quickly resolves into that of a dark-skinned woman, who looks around for a moment as if disoriented. Once she gets her bearings, her face lights up with excitement, and she eagerly greets them in a language you don't quite know, or have ever heard.
This woman tries to prompt you to speak so she can understand

Second thought, i can cast the spell off of my vestments, save myself the money.
Vestment, Mnemonic
Aura strong transmutation; CL 17th; Slotbody; Price 5,000 gp; Weight 1 lb.
DESCRIPTION
The surface of this delicate-looking blue silk robe is adorned with tiny embossed runes across its entire surface.
If the wearer is a spontaneous caster, once per day she may use a spell slot to cast a spell from a written source (such as a scroll or spellbook) as if she knew that spell. The spell must be on her spell list, the same spell level or lower than the expended spell slot, and the same type of spell (arcane or divine) as the spell slot expended. The caster must also understand the written source (such as using Spellcraft or read magic) and be carrying it. Activating the robe is not an action, but casting the spell otherwise works as normal, including casting time, providing components or foci, and so on. Using a mnemonic vestment’s properties does not consume the written source.
A mnemonic vestment must be worn for 24 consecutive hours before using its effects..
Whomever volunteers just assume i cast it, no need for confirmation

with all the languages she seems confused, but as common is the most prevalent she starts to pick up on it
"Can you understand me now?"
The woman smiles answering Jing. “Isirah... Isirah Tana.”
She pronounces her name slowly, at first—Iss-sai-rah—as
if she had almost forgotten it. “I was an explorer... I think.”
