Carini takes up a position near--but not too near--Hjort, watching over the proceedings. Though her blade is not out, the guisarme rests close at hand over her shoulder, and she seems ready to react should the man attempt to flee.

The bartender glares at Drootina before laughing. "Well, at least one of you newcomers knows how to stay clean!" The other patrons erupt into laughter. The bartender fills one of his mugs to serve you.
Hjort looks at Hortensia as she approaches. "Huh? What's going on? Why are you lookin' at me like that?"
Carini notices several men, itching for an excuse to fight, and she's not too surprised when they stand up almost immediately, shouting loudly enough to cut Hjort off. "Oh look at these fancy pants outsiders comin' in from outta town to pick on our folk? Get outta here!" One throws his mug at Hjort and the man scampers under his stool.
The bartender laughs as he runs into the kitchen and chaos soon erupts. Bar stools fly, ale is spilled, and several drunk patrons enter a wild melee. One drunk human with the symbol of Gorum on his necklace, stands up extra drunk. "'Tis a great day for battle! Come and join me!"

Hortensia slaps the Yellow patron upside the head before he's aware, while Hannar's fire bolt zaps the Blue guy's hand. I think it hit Touch AC 10 before, and he's flatfooted so he lost his Dex bonus.
The Red, Blue and Black patrons quickly down their liquid courage and roar triumphantly before rushing you. "You burned my drinkin' hand!" The Blue guy spits at Hannar. "That's my favorite hand!"
Hortensia sees the patron in Red coming and quickly slaps him.
