1) One permanent Hero Point may be used to avoid a final death scenario allowing a narrow cinematic escape,
2) One temporary Hero Point may be used if you are between -1 and -9 hit points to stabilize yourself to prevent further blood loss,
3) Temporary Hero Points may be expended to power Feats. These grant a lasting bonus for a one scene or one round duration depending on the feat description,
4) One temporary Hero Point grants a character a chance to supplement their d20 roll by 1d6 and add the result (whatever it was - no re-roll) to the d20 result,
5) No more than one Hero Point may be expended per round.

So in very fun and scary and exciting news, my wife just had a baby (our first) and we'll be bringing him home today or tomorrow, hopefully.
I'm not planning on dropping any games as I'll be off work for the next month (is this hubris? Maybe!) but if it's not too much trouble, please feel free to bot me as needed in the immediate future. Thanks!

All my kids are moved out and I am empty nesting it with a 27 yr old man, 23 yr old man, 21 year old woman, and 19 year old man. The exhaustion does end but you really don't want it to
Suffered severe physical burn out this weekend due to a some very hard weeks of pushing it at the gym, slept most of Sunday except for the activities I took my daughter to and we spent last night together as well driving around looking at Halloween decorations.
OK, updated! If Doomed Hero does not go by tomorrow I will post for Aerin to get things moving along. Not trying to rush Aerin just trying to get into a rhythm which I have been having a hard time with lately.

Sure.
I'll add a reminder here for everyone. Life Link is really hard to keep track of on my own. If you're linked with me, please help me keep track of when the link heals you (like Frank just did).

Frank can fit the cash in his handy haversack for later distribution, anyone else want to hold on to anything?
• 1 masterwork Talenta tangat halfling two-hander weapon?
• 1 wand of magic missiles (1st level) Gaunlet might take this
• 1 cloak of resistance +1
• 3 potions of cure moderate wounds
• 1 potion of invisibility
• 1 (undamaged) suit of half-plate armor
• 1 flametouched iron holy symbol (Sovereign Host) Anyone want this? It seems ...valuable enough for Frank to ensure its safe passage into the hands of a new owner :D
• 3 vials of antitoxin
• 1 vial of acidic fire probably: d4 fire + d4 acid on hit, 1 fire + 1 acid splash, d4 fire damage next round (extinguishable like alchemist fire) • 1 letter of credit with the Kundarak Banking Guild for 400 gp
• A total of 250 sp, 38 gp, and 4 pp

All of it seems useful for any of us, honestly. I'm not a big fan of consumables, though, since I tend to forget using them. I'm more interested in the cloak, though I guess so are many of you.

I am not, but only bc I took the last one we found.

Speaking of which, how should we handle consumable distribution?
I feel like we shouldn't penalize anyone for using them to encourage the short term boosts they give and saving them up for... special occasions?
(i.e. we might sell some in town, but we count anything used in battle as ditched loot instead of shares of treasure)

In my RL group, we give consumables to whoever needs it or benefits from it the most (e.g. if all but one are very good at stealth, invisibility potions go to him/her so he can keep pace). We usually don't count consumables as "personal wealth"; if you use it, it's gone, if you don't use it it's as if it wasn't there anyways.
